PLEASE bring back this pod. it’s been amazing and the perspectives that people feel safe enough to share are beautiful and necessary. it’s such a great way to give direction to thoughts about recent events for Christians and to help challenge end develop already formed thoughts

    I wish there were more!
I always look forward these interviews. It’s such a different experience to listen to these artists, influencers, etc to just sit down and be real. I love hearing what’s going on in their life and it’s fun to listen in on the friendship each of them has with Cameron. It’s like sitting at a table with 2 friends chatting.

    Favorite Interview Style Podcast!
Cameron Strang is a brilliant interviewer. This podcast gives listeners the chance to hear the heart of people in a way I’ve not heard before. In the world of interview-style podcasts, this is the one to listen to.

    Top Notch!
Another favorite of mine! Cameron is a gifted interviewer, I feel like I’m just listening in on an authentic conversation between two people... no hidden agenda. I would definitely rate it at the top of my list.

    In progress
Thank you for interviewing Shauna Niequist, someone who has been so influential for many of us. I appreciated your honest conversation with her. One area I would hope for growth would be for the host to ask more open-ended questions, such as “how would you describe this season of life?” Vs “are you having a midlife crisis??” to which Shauna tried to be very open and gracious as we women do when asked such ill-formed questions. At another point Shauna had to answer flat out “no” and almost defend herself against the question that was asked. Not sure if this is part of the dynamic between a man interviewing a woman, given our current cultural norms. To me the art of interviewing seems to be more like an invitation, a drawing out, rather than asking someone if they fit into one category or another. And sometimes it’s both/and as Shauna has written so much about. Keep up the great work and keep growing!

    One of my favorite podcasts!
I love this podcast, I listen every week on my drives to and from work! Cameron is a fantastic interviewer. He asks questions I want answers to, but does it with so much kindness. I really value his perspective & the wisdom I gain from listening to the interviews he curates. I love story telling, and Cameron is one of the best ones out there at it.

    Faith changing!
This podcast has meant so much to me since I started listening a few months ago. It has helped bring me back to a place where I don’t feel like I need to pretend I have it all together and has been such a good reminder of how amazing God’s grace really is. Each episode is thought provoking, honest, real and such a breath of fresh air. These are all the things we need to be discussing openly and honestly within the church if we expect people’s lives to be changed. Thank you so much for creating this podcast!

    Great conversations with great people
I would highly recommend this podcast for anyone who likes listening to great conversations with great people. I love that you aren’t afraid to speak about controversial topics. I feel like I learn so much about faith and life from every guest speaker.

    Substance over Spin
So often interviews feel like opportunities just to deliver talking points. The method used has room for that, but Cameron’s style and approach to conversation with real people discussing real life in relationship, family, business, ministry, pain, wins, joy, struggle etc delivers an authentic long form style that I’m in love with. You get to actually see people as they are as opposed to the assumed objectified version we want to be or hate them for being. The length is worth it! Strang and Relevant have leveled up (again).

    Steak of a content- meaty
So I started listening to RELEVANT Podcast for the interview segments, after a few years i realized the humor throughout the episodes kept me coming back. I transitioned from wanting “content” to Jessi’s humor. Then came Unedited. It’s straight up meaty. Raw and unedited interviews. It allows for the purity of a conversation to shine! Pair this Podcast with the RELEVANT Pod and your week is set!

    Real people in real conversations
Cameron has quickly become one of the most well respected people I listen to. You talk with interesting people who have valuable ideas and opinions to share. It’s nice to hear real conversations that are not all fluffed and glamorous. Vulnerability and being real are essential in a world where everything is glamorized. Thank you!
  • srfrancis89
    So honest and Fun
This podcast is so vulnerable in the best of ways. I feel I'm sitting in the room during the conversations with how well Cameron gets guests to open up. I'm connecting with the guest in ways that make me see them more as people than just celebrities. Highly recommend!
  • missytoon
    My new favorite podcast!
The rawness of these conversations is so needed right now. I’ve listened, then re listened to write stuff down because the conversations were just that good. Thanks for being willing to risk being real.

    Long Form Goodness
Love the format of hearing Cameron + guest have wide-ranging conversations. The nuance of a free-flowing conversation adds layers of depth and meaning. Excellent!
  • ellivhsan
    Dude talking to dudes.
Unless this is only meant to be a podcast men are interested in (and nothing wrong with that!), I'd like to hear some conversations with women, or even with men he has strongly different opinions and experiences from.

    Thought provoking!
Almost finished with the latest episode, and each interview has been unique and though provoking. I love the open platform that Unedited gives to each guest, as well as Cameron’s questions to dig deeper into conversation. Five stars!

The meat and potatoes you love
I love the Relevant podcast but the interviews on this podcast are open, honest, and what you miss out on in the Relevant podcast. Cameron does a great job of letting the guest be open and vulnerable. Looking forward to more episodes

Amzazing Interviews Raw Thought Provoking Podcast
I am huge fan of both the Relevant Podcast & magazine. Unedited offers something great and differerent from the magazine and podcast, full interviews unedited and raw. Careron does a great job of asking thought provoking questions which leads to really intimate discussions wih leaders in culture & Christianity.

Like sitting at lunch with you
I so appreciate this long form interview format! I feel like I’m getting to sit in on coffee with you guys and am hearing all of what your guests have to say, instead of through the filter of someone’s opinion. Thank you for being real, always.
  • Hannah_Ohwins
    Honest and real
I have been listening to The Relevant podcast weekly for several years, I have admired Cameron’s voice and respect for others. These first few episodes have been honest and enlightening. I’m thankful for an honest and raw voice in our filtered world.

I am enjoying it. Have a listen.

    Opportunity to do better
Frustrating to listen to since the questions are ill prepared, disjointed, and seem off the cuff. Also need to develop an alternative to the word “like” which precedes almost every statement the host makes. (i.e. Carl Lentz interview)

Everything I have wanted from a Podcast
Cameron does a great job of asking question that I would want to ask the guests. Does a great job giving them room to speak. It’s all around amazing!

So far, so perfect! I love Cameron’s conversational, laid back approach with his guests. He’s a great interviewer, listener, and contributor. I don’t want the episodes to end when they’re over!

    Long overdue
I’ve been a Relevant Podcast listener since the beginning. To hear and feel the evolution of Cameron as an interviewer and human being, is so real and honest. I wish I had this podcast while I was in college. If the church was this open and real, I think the world would look very different. Keep it up Cameron and Thank you.
  • Jake&Ash
    Don’t edit the cursing!
Love the podcast! One criticism though... it’s called unedited but you cut out the curse words some of your guests use. Don’t do it! In real life we all hear cursing. Allow it to be truly “unedited” 😎 keep up the good work!
  • brittany.littleton
    Incredible!
I’ve been a RELEVANT listener since 2008 and I have fast forwarded through 90% of the guest interviews, so I did not think this show was for me. However, Cameron is open and honest and ventures in to places where few Christians would go. I love this podcast dearly. It feels like an old friend. Thank you for being so vulnerable Cameron.
  • Buwalda
    Excellent
LOVE the long form format. Both episodes so far (Levi and Pete) were insightful and funny and had moments of depth as well as brevity. A new favorite podcast for sure.
  • Sjjddbdjdb
    Definitely a podcast
    Five star, honest, open conversation.

    Great interview show
I've listened to and read Relevant for years. It's nice to see a really mature long-form interview format that brings up very honest conversations. Thanks for the transparency, Cameron Strang. Great job!

    Great Podcast
Cameron is a great host and has a lot of connections with guests I’d love to hear from Pete and Levi.
  • _krssy_
    this is good stuff
I love this because it lacks the noise (read: distractions) of the relevant podcast. It feels intimate and honest. Cameron allows interviewees to shine and tell their stories well.
  • Hennigerfam
    So Good!!
Awesome! Love the long interview!! Also fun to have it unedited! Authentic and real.
  • Joshua Wulf
    “Unedited”
I love these long form conversational podcasts and I’m excited about adding this in my rotation. One suggestion is to truly make it “unedited”. It’s distracting to have silences in place of expletives. When you’re having guests on who curse frequently, their worldview is also something those parents who shelter their kids would want to avoid around their children. I urge you to reconsider it. I was listening to the discussion about Bob Jones and separate sidewalks and feeling the same way about the “bleeping” of religiously taboo words just a couple of minutes before.
  • DHolston_
I love what Cameron stands for...
...you truly can see that he loves the Lord and wants to help people of God become closer to each other and to Jesus! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for this podcast!
  • RafikiJ
    A fresh version of long-form.
It's nice to hear Cameron press into things. The unedited and long-form allows you to listen trhough how they get to the revelations and insights, and helps you to know how to ask follow-up questions in your own mind.
  • TinaFish
    Real and Fascinating
Thank you for sharing real, long, personal stories. I love this setup because it speaks to the story teller in my heart. I love content that isn’t scripted out or planned. There are enough sermons out there. We need more raw conversations with compelling and sometimes scary thoughts. Please keep the content coming.
  • bculver91
    Loving the long-form “unedited” format
Nice job in episode one Cameron! Really happy to see Christian version of long form conversations that are taking over the internet (like Joe Rogan, Sam Harris, Pangburn Philosphy, etc). I think Cameron is the perfect one from the Relevant crew to tackle this and I have high hopes for what the next episodes may hold.
