This my favorite catholic podcast. Michael and Dave are full of insights, and very funny.

The hosts do a great job providing clear teaching and insightful pedagogy. I am frequently frustrated that i have to get through 5-10 minutes of banter at the beginning of each podcast before they get i to their topic. Many other otherwise good Catholic podcasts have the same problem. I am guessing some people like this but I am sure that I am not alone in disliking it.

Mike and Dave are great evangelizers and catechists. Their content is relevant, informative, and doctrinal. Worth the time invested!

I was raised as an evangelical, but am in the process of joining the Catholic Church. I have been so encouraged listening to this podcast as it assures me that I am not leaving everything I know, but simply adding onto it. It helps knowing that there are people out there that understand the frustration of doing RCIA for a lifelong on fire Christian who grew up doing Bible Drills and mission trips. Locally I am doing a class telling me what the Bible is and who Jesus was and who created me. I have been fortified listening to this podcast knowing that I am not alone and that there are other recourses for catechizing baptized Christians. It also makes me so happy hearing about Catholic evangelization and that I can soon be part of that.

I am gearing up for a new position as my parish’s Director of Evangelization. This is new to me and to the parish, and so it is a little intimidating. The practical tips on this podcast are great! Keep up the good work and God bless!

I have started listening to show from the first episode forward. Mike and Dave’s testimonies are wonderful and there practical and Kerygma-centered is so helpful and inspiring. I am an aspiring Deacon and evangelist who has had trouble finding a touchstone or launching pad for Catholic evangelization. Every Knee Shall Bow is that touchstone.

Great for parents trying to raise young disciples.

I came across this podcast and loved it right away. It pushes me to do things that are out of my comfort zone with one sole purpose, sharing the good news. Evangelization.

As a convert to the faith, this podcast helps to shed some light on how we got to the current state of the church. I don’t work for a parish, but it helps to show all that goes into managing a parish and helps me have compassion on those running the show and the lack of stewardship from parishioners! It’s a podcast for Catholic Millennials! Keep up the good work, Gents.

I appreciate the tips and jokes from the hosts. It’s difficult to know how to share your faith or testimony, and I learn something new from each episode. I stick to the rule of “the truth requires no rehearsal” but it’s nice to have knowledge and ideas as backup, which these fellows help with.

I love this podcast. As someone who works for the church and studied theology, I have a lot of head knowledge that can sometimes be hard to transfer to practicality. It is nice to hear from people who have the experience and knowledge to help me facilitate encounters with Christ.

Really enjoy this podcast. They are challenging and insightful. Practical about real life evangelization. This is a life changing podcast for those of us who feel called to greater evangelization.

I have just finished listening to a ton of episodes. I want more. Excellent excellent! This is as inspiring to me for my own souls as it is to help be an evangelist every day. As a physician the awkwardness of offering to pray with and for my patients is something I struggle with. This podcast is helping me to overcome myself and giving me very practical guidance for my average random everyday encounters in the world. Thank you gentlemen for your outstanding work. Listening to EKSB has been life-changing for me. Mike and Dave are funny, enlightening, encouraging, and inspiring. I love their honesty and desire to teach in a way that builds confidence to live, share, and grow in our faith.

If you are looking to bring Christ to those who dont have him, this podcast is for you!! It has helped me to learn that i should be praying intercessory prayers (specifically the memorare) for those who dont have Christ and how i should be asking God to set up “Divine Appointments” with those people so that i may have even the smallest chance to bring them closer to God. I started praying the memorare for my sister every time i brush my teeth and she finally began to answer the calling of the Lord, after about 2 months she went to confession for the first time in 18 years!! PRAISE GOD! Now i just keep praying, just keep praying, just keep praying praying praying🐠:) Thank you Dave and Gomer!! I LOVE this podcast and it has impacted my life immensely. Seriously you guys need to write a book!!

I hadn’t listened to this podcast before, but a friend sent me the episode called “Finding Light in Dark Places.” That episode echoed some of my deepest convictions. The segment about stoicism in Catholic lifestyles today was so refreshing. And I loved the Quo Vadis reference. And of course the pro-life wisdom. There’s so much more to say, but that’s all I’ll say for now! Thanks guys.

This is the place to hear discussion about how to evangelize in the 21st century. Even if you’re not engaged in sidewalk ministry at a Planned Parenthood- this podcast will give you the confidence (and resources) to use in your home (I have kids/teenagers that this podcast spurs amazing conversations with).

This podcast is niche - mostly directed to clergy, church workers, and the Uber-committed parish volunteer - but it’s a conversation that needs to be out there. If you are serious about evangelization, especially within the parish context, this podcast is for you. Gomer and Dave are real about the challenges and difficulties of living out the evangelical impulse in the world without the irreverence that characterizes so many that are on the “inside”

As a cradle Catholic, I always thought I had my faith secured in Jesus Christ. I have found renewal in my faith with diving into Biblical scripture as an adult in the last few years and have been influenced by a Protestant approach. With the pandemic, anxiety, and loss of my job I really turned to the Lord for guidance and relief. My best friend helped me dive into the Bible, but it still had me craving an even deeper relationship with God. With finding this Podcast, among other catholic resources, I have delved into a richer and deeper understanding of catholic catechism which I have lost as a child. Thank you for what you do and I pray that I can evangelize whole heartedly the way you do!

These guys know their stuff - both from the salvation history past and with regard to an evangelizing present. As someone who is now stepping back into the faith I was looking for a connection to scripture, resources, and now, suggestions on how I may best evangelize. They support this growth and more - all in a relatable human to human sort of way. I highly recommended going back through the titles of previous episodes and downloading things that strike your interest. As I’ve gone through them I’m wishing I hadn’t been so picky, as I have enjoyed getting to know these guys as they share parts of their own faith and present journey through life.

Amazing! So much practical wisdom - and so much fun.... I believe Jesus is smiling - and eating lots of meat.

This show has been instrumental in my walk with the Lord. I have found it seriously difficult to find anyone in my age group following the Lord through a Catholic lense. When I go to mass, I am the only person within 10-15 years of my age it seems. I have struggled with how to incorporate my Catholic beliefs with the Christians I am associated with because they are non- denominational, but I feel equipped to do so through this podcast. It has been life changing to enable me to educate, communicate, and love better. Although I am still doing this alone, I hope to use what I have learned to start a group to evangelize once COVID is over.

Love the friendly, encouraging tone on this podcast! The hosts have decades of ministry experience between them, and their heart for the Lord and for others shines forth. Perfect for parish ministers and also those trying to share their faith for the first time... it’s an encouraging pep talk full of pro tips for everyone!

Dave and Gomer are on fire. These two could probably lecture for Days with depth and knowledge that would leave us wanting more. Each episode is packed with PRACTICAL tips for evangelization with breadth from intellectual to mystical.

Love LOVE this podcast! Dave and Gomer give practical advice for evangelization and teach you more about the Catholic faith in the process. As a poorly catechized cradle Catholic, now married with children of my own, I am playing catch up for myself and my family so that I can be the best wife and mother, and this podcast is a big help. Dave and Gomer’s teachings are accessible without dumbing down the richness of the Catholic faith. I look forward to this podcast every week!
