    I'm definitely lit
This is a great way to educate yourself on the Bay Area's art scene. Various artists, programs, and movements are covered in sufficient detail. It just makes you want to go and explore more for yourself, or even create some art. Inspiring!

    Illuminating and Inspiring
I'm a techie with little training in the arts, yet I find that every episode of Spark gives me a deeper appreciation for artists and their works. Good art is like a mental map left by its creator, and Spark helps me follow the map to new mindspaces. Although it focuses on the San Francisco Bay Area, viewers everywhere will enjoy and learn from this show. It's one of KQED's best productions, but the short segments currently available on iTunes (as of October 3, 2006) don't really do it justice; I sure wish we could see the complete episodes!
