AduskviowirNot worth itDon’t bother loading it or subscribing. There’s an insulting amount of ads in each episode.
-
kvpharmdSo so so many ads- over 50%I love the content, but a 18 minute episode had 8 minutes of ads at the beginning and 2 minutes at the end.
-
1mariamariatoo many talking ads8 mins into an episode and they are still talking about ads instead of the main topic - so i clicked off wishing i could leave the episode a thumbs down - the episode is only 32 mins but full of ads at the start this is for “Do you really need 8 hours of sleep? | Body Stuff with Dr. Jen Gunter” although most epithets a dilution of ads

CJ listensTed health podcastsI enjoy the topics but can hardly bear to listen to even half an episode. Whose in your organization thought it was a great idea to place stupid annoying sounds effects? Is the person developing them a relative who needs a creative outlet?
-
Tampa on the RoadChildish sound effects?!I love TED talks and thought this one would surely be great if it provides ~10 minute talks on health related topics. However, there are such childish, cartoon-like sound effects constantly in the background! Who in the world thought this would be a good idea for an adult audience? It is so distracting, annoying and such a turn off. I very rarely leave negative reviews but I find it mind-boggling that someone would think these sound effects would resonate with an adult, TED-following audience. I just started the episode about food expiration dates and barely 1 minute in, I can’t take the sound effects anymore.

DeeDee9000fake meat climate cultUnsubscribed after the “alternative meat” episode. You are in a cult.
-
Nu-clear futureClimate episodeHow behind are you in gathering research and spreading accurate, valuable information? How have you not considered bringing a nuclear scientist to discuss nuclear energy? Are you really here to help people or pretend?
-
Abe77RidiculousThe entire episode explaining hangovers has sound effects of people getting sick in the background. Is a 10 year old editing this show?

monicam3Voice workLove the podcast listen regularly, but as I am finding with virtually all podcasts now that this media is becoming very popular, and very integrated into all of our daily lives, podcast hosts, and frequent guests need to do voice work. I realize that is something that does not usually fall in the realm of science and medicine, and it does fall in the realm of actors and performers, but it is so jarring and so grating to hear someone’s voice badly misplaced with glottal stop’s, nasally whiny resonance , throat muscles so tight and distracted that it is almost painful to listen to. I have stopped informative podcasts on this show a number of times, because the sound of the voices is so dreadful. There are many many options available for basic voice training. Please spread the word.

They’ve gone underNot about health. The topics are never about health. If I want to follow a podcast about social sciences, I will search for podcasts about social sciences. When I went in search of a podcast about health, I expected information about how to be healthy. This is a bait and switch.
-
zgarbSperm episodeThis lacked any real evidence studies or discussion around how this topic can be advanced and what we should be doing to address the issues society faces. I hope this podcast readdresses this issue with a host who is less interested in making men feel bad about this process or women not feeling the burden and more focused on what we can do to address this issue and how we can start getting men tested and studies that can be done to get the information needed

Domtron83Hit and MissMuch of this podcast steers away from harder science abs seems to focus a little too much on crystal rubbing and being in touch with ones feelings. Still a few gems gleam like the science of sleep and the effects of parenting. It’s worth finding the ones that sound interesting but I did not bother chewing through every episode.

-
goodpodclubSadisticIn what world is biohacking nature a good idea? These “scientists” think they’re smarter than Mother Nature. They are literally denaturing nature. This podcast does nothing but push big agendas and biased uncritical thinking. Do better.

Nikki7278LOVEThis podcast is so important. Please give us more !
-
PT 29100% uselessThis is ostensibly a health podcast, but too few of the episodes are actually about health at all, and those that are, are very misleading. Literally ANY other health or biohacking podcast is better.

Bdanderson222Interview with biologist advocating 4/10 proposalHe seemed to have no public health credentials. Appeared to be peddling mathematical model fantasy. Irresponsible to broadcast.
-
CAMarathonRunnerGood varietyThese talks cover a variety of topics of various length that should appeal to a broad audience. Speakers can be funny, quirky, or serious, but all seem to deliver in a clear, understandable way, despite the complexity of the topic. Recommended for anyone interested in learning something new or considering something from a different viewpoint. But for the sake of my cellular data plan, provide an audio version of the talks as well as video.
