    Memo for the boss
My complaint is not about the quality of the podcast’s work. This is a great podcast with unbiased coverage about politics. I’ve enjoyed it for many years and fully recommend it to anyone considering to give it a listen. Recently the episodes that mainly consisted of Alex and Francesca were outstanding. Please replace Kristin with Francesca. Francesca is an outstanding reporter and a joy to listen to. Alex as well. I find Kristin’s role as the host to be annoying. She comes across overly snarky about being ‘the boss’. She asks good questions but Alex and Francesca ask the same questions of their own reporting already. Not sure why we need her snark. Drop Kristin. Make Francesca permanent. Thanks!

I wanted to like this, but they’re really biased
There is actually some pretty good insight in every episode, but they are so biased in there leaning toward the democratic party, it’s not funny.I am a Democrat myself, but hearing how their tone of voice even changes when they talk about Republicans makes this so cognitively dissonant and unlistenable. I guarantee the majority of 4 and 5 star ratings are coming from Democrats who just like having their conscious and unconscious biases reinforced. This one’s not for thinkers.

    Awesome political podcast!
I love this podcast! I've been a fan since the initial launch before the last presidential election and I look forward to episodes releasing every week. The show brings in reporters from all over the country to speak to issues both local and national and it really gives you an idea of what local politics look like in other states. I feel like the hosts also do a pretty good job at staying neutral and reporting on the stories without a lot of party bias. It's definitely a welcome change from cable news and I hope they keep the episodes coming!

    Biased
They say the premise of this show is they ignore the politics of DC for more local politics but what that ends up meaning is they ignore any large stories that look bad for the current administration and this latest special has confirmed that. For the Democrats they only talked to liberal activists, and for republicans they only talked to trump advisors and sympathizers. That is not going out of the bubble, that is staying squarely in the swamp.

    Smart, wide-ranging conversations
It's great to finally see a new organization taking advantage of its reach by including local reporters in the national political conversation -- not just folks in D.C.. This podcast is smart, fun and loaded with great analysis.

    Absolutely essential listening
If the most recent election taught us anything, it's that the viewpoints of actual voters are grossly underrepresented in the media. Beyond the Bubble does a fantastic job bringing these perspectives to light, and does so with insightful, sharp, and entertaining commentary. Absolutely essential listening for anyone seeking to gain a true understanding of the American political climate.

    Valuable and timely
Definitely the kind of podcast/media discussion we need right now. I'd say you could seek out more small town representatives and reporters (Raleigh is pretty big city, for example) to really get beyond the bubble. But I haven't heard all episodes so maybe you have. Definitely what I'm looking for in the discussions going on. Don't forget to talk about more than the attacks on the media, prove why we need it not just that they're against it! Thanks for the work you're doing! I do love it!!

Glad to have found Kristin Roberts' podcast again!
I was a big fan of the Politico Nerdcast during the campaign, but it's fallen totally flat since Roberts left Politico. Glad to be hearing her perspective again, especially with the bent of hearing what other editors around the country are saying. As a native Star-Telegram reader and now NC transplant subscribed to the News & Observer, I love it!

    Not your typical politics podcast
I really like the hosts on this, it doesn't feel like I'm listening to the typical Sunday morning politics round robin. The way they talk about things feels approachable and conversational. It's a breakdown of what's going on in Washington, but it's not just another group of "Beltway Insiders" talking in circle, they're reporters from around the country and give great perspective because of it.

    One month in
I think this is a great approach; to talk to people that live and work outside of D.C. about what goes on in D.C.. If you want to know what got us to this point, if you want to know what the climate of the country is, you don't talk to insiders in DC...you talk to the places where the voters live!

    McClatchy's Beyond The Bubble
Excellent podcast with views from around the country. Finally, an inclusive smart political podcast! I look forward to more... Thank you

    Smart angle
There are a lot -- too many -- political podcasts. But the thing I like about this one is that they're breaking the DC pundit panel model and using political reporters and writers from around America who actually might know something about what voters want to see from Trump. And it's under 30 minutes.
