OK… Their title does say it all. They are definitely Royally Obsessed. And that’s all you will get. There really is no substance to this podcast. It’s simply talking about their personal lives and their “opinions” of the happenings with the royals. If you want to listen to women casually chatting over a cup of coffee, you can get that in any coffee shop. Otherwise, this is all you’re going to get with this one.

The hosts are what make this podcast great. They are unbiased, respectful to all subjects and guests, and are a breath of fresh air each week with their positivity and focus on frivolous fun, which is what keeps me coming back. I need this weekly break to listen about clothes and royal engagements! It makes me happy for 20-40 minutes. I am instantly in a better mood when I hear this intro. I’m interested in the activities of the royal family but couldn’t really listen to any other royal podcast without getting bombarded by unwanted and unqualified personal commentary, speculation, projection, and negativity. I want to hear about the royals because it’s a fun distraction, that’s it, and these hosts give me exactly what I want. Wonderful ladies, just wonderful!

Longtime listener and royal fan, first time reviewer here. I just wanted to say how much I respect these hosts and the way they present Royal news. The thruline that I have always noticed in their podcast is that they speak to the dignity and respect that the Royals deserve—not because they are royal, but because they are complex humans with flaws like the rest of us. I appreciate that. They take a moment to pause, take a breath, step back, and reflect, and even offer some grace toward a news situation before they prepare their remarks and their reactions for us. In a world that pressures for everybody’s instant and dramatic reactions to everything scandalous, this is so refreshing. Sickening that you announce the Princess of Wales cancer with faux gravitis and claims of tears. Weeks ago you giggled like the children you are by guessing she had a tummy tuck. Your treatment of the Kings illness is similar. Clearly you learn nothing from your mistakes. Apologise.to those you hurt and those who listen to you. Then go back to other immature pastimes but for the love of all things decent get off the airwaves.

I love listening weekly to hear intelligent perspectives of Royal news without harsh criticism or rabbit hole theories. Rachel and Roberta are refreshingly balanced in their coverage in all things royal and I love their authenticity. Listening it to them is like having a nice chat with my dearest friends. Love the podcast but had an issue with your coverage of Meghan and Harry rebrand. You said it felt very royal. He is Royal. He’s the son of the king and 5th in line to the throne. I was happy to see him reclaim his identity because the tabloids have been trying to take that away for several years. Imagine having your identity ripped from you and someone else recreate it. That would be horrible. Other than that, love the podcast. Still a 5star!!

Having lost a parent in the recent, your remaining parent becomes more important no matter the relationship. The King is sick. This brings new perspective and brings families closer. The rebrand may be a head scratcher to us. It remains that this family is tightly controlled. They remain royals whether we like it or not. This is rebranding is not surprising to me at all. If they really wanted to disassociate themselves from the Firm and be “independent” - then they would have ditched their titles and those of their children and try life without that connection. I so enjoy getting my Royal news from these two ladies. Love the Royal cocktail segment, the Royal history segment and all the interviews. They are very personable and always positive. And I feel they give equal time to the Royal Family and to Harry and Meghan. This is a podcast I listen to every week.

Just gave this pod another try ... could you , as journalists at some point in the obsessive chat about Finding Freedom, ask why would 2 people who are obsessed with their privacy( as they should be ) and to have it respected, would give the obvious nod to a book which is filled with their most intimate thoughts about themselves and family members. That off hand comment about Will flying around in choppers trying to figure out his life as a royal... William was NOT just flying around in choppers for fun, he was apart of royal search and rescue in Wales, an important and dangerous job, after that he did the very meaningful and important work of air ambulance work. He left his family to fly his shift every week like many ordinary working people. I admire and applaud the fact that he wanted to do other work before he had a life of royal duty. Finally someone has given these 2 some perspective on M And H in relation to William. Yay Tina Brown! Ok after listening to the last episode I have now come to realize the absurdity of these 2 “ journalists” . Their chatter, about being nervous that somehow William will be influenced by Tom Cruise. They are concerned about the “ friendship between the Cambridges and Cruise. Really? A) this is not the Cambridges first rodeo. I am sure they are too busy with their own lives and all that involves to strike up a real friendship with Tom. They know that he brings a lot of fans to the party and the royal family wants that right now.The more people that engage with the Royal Jubilee the better for them. As to Cruise he is many things besides a strange man part of a strange cult, he is a business man. He knows how to make money and how to get attention for his projects. He is savvy . He invites the royals to watch his movie in the private showing. He gets himself invited to the Horsey Show, and Kate and Will go to premiere of Top Gun. A big showy movie with lots of planes flying about. Will and Kate have been to many premieres. Do we worry they will become spies after seeing the latest 007? I think the Cambridge family is safe from Scientology and the pit falls of a close “ friendship” with Tom. I doubt they will see each other again unless there is another Top Gun movie. Really do you girls listen to yourselves after you make some of these statements. Some of it, a lot of it, is sophomoric at best. Try harder to be good journalists. I know it’s a lightweight podcast. But perhaps you should stop reporting on the Royals and stick to what you like best and enjoy the most, reporting exclusively on Harry and Meghan. There should be lots and lots of gossip about the after reality show starts filming. Get your facts straight girls. You are suppose to be Royal savvy. The Sandringham Estate which includes Anmer Hall is privately owned by the Queen. Same as Balmoral all private. The taxpayers don’t spend a dime on any of that property. Anmer Hall was refurbished by Prince Charles from his private funds. The same funds he spent on Harry and Meghan. So unlike Windsor and any properties within that complex, which are paid for by taxpayer. Charles has many properties, some of which are privately owned and a few like Clarence House are public property. So the Cambridges are not going to cost the taxpayers much money for the move and Anmer Hall is theirs … really do your research. Meghan and Harry could have stayed with their baby boy after the fire. At least one of them.They chose not to. I am sure they were pressured to carry on , but they, I repeat they, chose to carry on. As well I think it is interesting that you criticize Kate and William for having 3 houses, when Anmer Hall belongs them. There is no taxpayer money involved . It is private. And yes they are now moving into their new digs, but they are paying rent. Of course they are keeping Kensington Apt. They are the future king and queen! Yet you fail again to mention that Harry just took a private jet to Aspen to play polo. He drove to jet on his electric car but took a polluting jet to Aspen! I found the podcast to be more about Meghan than her guest. Just listened again after months and months of not… why do these two have a podcast called royally obsessed? The only royals they care about are Harry and Meghan. They can barely give will or Kate a nod… and please tell me WHAT is so fascinating about Harry going to Singapore in August to play polo and William going to the Earthshot annual event in Nov? Clearly the Earthshot has been planned for a few years to have there … and who really cares if Harry is playing polo in a charity event in the same country months apart. For 2 people who supposedly hate the gossip and diet digging on your 2 favorite people, you always seem to be digging it up! Stirring the pot. Honestly girls you are no longer adolescents … perhaps a different kind of podcast? Do you realize how mean spirited it is to suggest that William as not been to see Kate in hospital but once!. “How did we miss this on James Middleton’s post…”. That he’s been writing and said he may do a book. Then they say excitedly say, “You heard it here first”. What on earth? These two are sweet but oh so young-minded. The Harry and Meghan episodes are horrible to listen to. Silly. Go to Pod Save The Queen for much more intelligent, mature, well-rounded conversations about Royals.

This podcast is like listening to an AI bot comment on tabloid stories become vaguely sentient. These hosts are so truly devoid of anything resembling critical thinking skills it’s somewhat miraculous to me that they aren’t walking into moving traffic every time they leave their homes. Avoid this at all costs.

I love this show, starting with the brilliance of its regular segments and the great guests. I actually find the show to be balanced and like hearing about the Sussexs and the royal family alike. I’ve listened since 2020!

I genuinely enjoy your podcast and consider it my go to for all things Royal. I was surprised at your comments regarding the Jimmy Kimmel/Aaron Rodgers situation. I believe one of the ladies said that Jimmy was in “hot water”. Nothing can be further from the truth and you really need to get your facts straight before commenting on such an important subject. I hope that you’ll address this on this week’s podcast.

Sam Sanders was a disappointment. His foul language and demeanor does not represent your family friendly style. The F word was used so frequently by Mr. Sanders I thought perhaps he has a limited vocabulary. Very offensive language. Please do not invite back Mr. Sanders.

I discovered this podcast only about a month ago and have really enjoyed the recent content as well as going back through the catalog and listening to some older episodes. The hosts are wonderful and enjoyable to listen to. The latest episode with Sam Sanders was such a disappointing choice of guest: if you’re titled Royally Obsessed, please at least bring guests on who know names. His having to default to referring to “the sister,” “the actress,” etc. (or whatever he called people - I had to stop paying close attention because I was becoming so annoyed) in discussing both actors and the real people they portrayed on The Crown was so underwhelming and below the capability of this pod.

This used to my go to Royal Podcast . I find it very Meghan and Harry heavy . Also , I find the podcast to be politically one sided Perhaps the podcast needs to be renamed “HM Royally Obsessed”

Was looking forward to listening to a new royal podcast. When it became clear that these women are such fans of Meghan and Harry, I turned it off. Such biased reporting regarding two people who are making the royal family a laughingstock on the world stage...read the room. Or in this case, read the world's zeitgeist!

You call yourselves Royally Obsessed. It seems to me you are Meghan and Harry obsessed and are supporting people who would love to destroy the royal family. Shame on you both. Omid is a clear example. He is a sensationalist and will stop at nothing to trash the Royals with information from the Sussex camp in order to make his money. It is utterly disgusting what the Sussex couple is doing to the royal family. I hope that your family and friends never decide to tell all every bit of you and your family life to further their careers. It’s a disgusting way to live and you both supporting that speaks volumes. I have listened to this podcast since the original hosts. Two reasons why I will no longer listen: 1. The entrance banter has gotten longer and longer. Sometimes 7 minutes! I have my own friends and do not tune in to hear endless about the two hosts travel and fluff that has NOTHING to do with royals. 2. Why, why, why would American women be over the moon over Fergie’s working—as informed by the hosts themselves—to PAY OFF ANDREW’S LEGAL BILLS AND TO SUPPORT HIS GRAND LIFESTYLE??? I am beyond disappointed at the weekly plugs to support the York couple financially. I’ve drawn a line. Bye

These women are so obviously looking for ways to discredit the monarchy and the Royal Family. They go to such great lengths to try to put a positive spin on the Sussex story that they have lost all credibility. Don't waste your time if you are really interested in learning about news and activities of the English monarchy.

I’d love to know more about Princess Elizabeth’s statement that Prince Charles received so many gifts at his birth that she wanted to share them with other babies born that day/week/month? My sister was one of those babies, and although my mother told the story several times, it never ended with my sister receiving a gift. Did that actually happen? Thank you!

One of the best things about Thursdays is Royally Obsessed drops! This is a great dive into all the news about the royals. The hosts are enthusiastic but not sycophants. Rachel and Roberta are Team Everyone—they are pro Wales, pro Sussex and pro C&C. But at the same time, they don’t hesitate to call out bad behavior (lookin at you Andrew). Now when I see royal news my immediate thought is, “I can’t wait for the pod!” A side benefit has been watching R&R’s friendship develop over the course of the show. Toasting you with the Royal Cocktail! God Save the Pod.

Used to listen to this for some royal gossip, just for fun, but I’ve noticed they have definitely become Sussex cheerleaders. It’s not as bad as other podcasts, but there is a definite bias. Most recently they parroted the Scobie “complaint” about the red carpet in Kenya. This is a common courtesy and was organized by the Kenyan government, but they decided to bring it up and treat it as though it was an actual problem. They gush about one side and make snide remarks over the real RF, so I’m done listening to these Sussex cheerleaders.

I used to enjoy this podcast with the former hosts. But this podcast has gone WAY downhill w the 2 “ro ro” cohosts. Not only is their take on the royal family lame, they feel the need to discuss their boring personal lives. It’s gotten so bad, that I have to unsubscribe!

The past few years of Royal watching has been rough, to say the least. As a fan of both teams it’s been hard to enjoy Royal coverage because the warring fans can be downright hostile. This podcast is fun and upbeat while being sensible in their critiques. Thank you R & R for the enthusiasm you share with us in each podcast. I look forward to your content, insight and perspective with each new episode. I hope this podcast can be a reminder that we can follow the Royal family and still be kind even if we disagree with the various members.

ALWAYS making passive aggressive digs at Kate and William and would never dare critique Meghan and Harry. Not fair and very slanted. You really lost me with the Kate was probably doing her trampoline workout instead of playing with the kids comment. Quit being negative about her. She is actually very athletic and active and probably doesn’t do girly trampoline workouts. Oh and her dress was wrinkled commentary from Wimbledon. Meghan’s clothes are ALWAYS wrinkled but you would never dare say that.

I don’t enjoy listening as much as I used too. Too pro Harry & Meghan. They used to be more balanced. I do enjoy the guests as they bring a more balanced perspective.

8/4/23 Spilling the tea you don’t report ! Get in the loop in USA The reality is even the David & Victoria Beckem famous Brits fired their former socialites Megs & Haz! Hollywood including Oprah distanced herself in CA from the two toxic m Montecito couple. AdditionallySerena Williams had a baby shower & Megs no where to be seen - hello!!!

This podcast is geared towards people who like Harry and Meghan. Roberta in particular is so nauseatingly pro Meg and Harry that I’m done with this show. They buy all the nonsense spoon fed by Scobie and E Holmes. The last straw was the “report” on Dan Wooton. Who cares?!? These two hosts wasting time on a messy he said/he said story is nonsense. There are way better podcasts for fans of the BRF out there. Don’t waste your time on this one.

I’m always excited to see a new episode pop up in my list. I enjoy the modern perspective on work and lives of the Royal Family. I’d love to have a Royal Refreshment with R and R and talk more. Keep the episodes coming! I’ll be listening for sure. 100%!

I enjoy the two hostesses very much. I’ve been royally obsessed for many years. I spent my hospital stay with my first baby reading a biography of Queen Victoria. Well produced and fun. I enjoy the cocktail and fashion tips! I also truly enjoy the on air guests. I look forward to it every week!

So many weird hyper focused negative reviews about anything to do with Meg. Those reviews are not trustworthy and should not be taken seriously. the podcast is great fun and light. Love it and super recommend!
