    Love the terrible grating
Dammit, you guys and your homosexual fantasies, and grating and terrible yea, and no. I find myself endlessly entertained by you and your nonsense. Don’t let the blizzards shut you down. :)

    Why is Max there?
I admit I’ve come to this late. I just finished watching Disco seasons 1 and 2 and loved it so I sought out a podcast to experience more. Mike is a great commentator and offers some really wonderful insight. But nine episodes in and I am going to stop listening because Max is the guest on the majority of episodes and every single thing out of his mouth is negative. If he hates it so much why does he continue to do this? Can’t you please get a guest who appreciates the show on some level?

    Grating and terrible forever!!! Hahaha
I just listened to the most recent episode from the Trek FM main feed, and I had to write in here to say thirst I very much enjoy this show. When Brandi gave a detailed exposition of Fallout 4 DLC with The Mechanist, And still connected it to trek, I knew I had to write in. I love listening to you all, and thank you for your hard work. Recommended for fans of Star Trek: Discovery for the diverse viewpoints, measured critique, and balanced criticism. Thanks for giving me something to listen to while doing gig work during the coronavirus.

    Not a fan of Brandi
I used to love this show, but she makes it unlistenable. Her voice is grating, and I always deleted podcast episodes when I found out she was a guest. Now that shes on this one every week I gotta unsubscribe

It’s like having more friends to discuss disco with!!!
Since I don’t have anyone to actually watch disco with, I highly anticipate new episodes of “the edge” (especially “postcards from the edge” with Chris littlefield and Brandi!!). I especially love when “theories”/predictions come up!! Thanks guys!!!!! -Ann Marie

Really love the various iterations of the show, we finally have new Trek to discuss after the long drought! :D I especially love Notes from the Edge, since I'm one who's always on the lookout for Easter Eggs and other various connections!

    Out of this world!
I’ve never been into podcasts, but I’ve been listening to the Edge most of season 2 and it’s a can’t miss part of my week. I love the insight and picking up on things that I may have missed. It’s great to listen to while driving or mowing the lawn.

    Great Podcast
I really enjoy this podcast. I like to hear their discussions of Discovery, almost as much as I like to watch the episodes. You give me more to look forward to. Thank You!

    The best!!!
I really love all iterations of this show, but particularly the main show! Amy and Patrick are the best!! Look forward to it every week before the new episode...Hate that Season 2 is almost over.

    Great Show
Love the show. Keeps me engaged in Discovery throughout the week and it always makes me consider possibilities that I had overlooked. All the hosts are great and you can tell they really are fans of Star Trek. I love all the shows on Trek.FM, I’m not sure how I’m going to find the time to listen to all of them if there is a podcast for each of the new series that have been announced 😂

    Just Awesome
Thanks to The Edge, I am now addicted to podcasts. You truly enrich my Star Trek experience with your insights. You make me take notice of things, in the episode’s plot lines that I would have never observed otherwise. Thank you &, keep up the magnificent work.

    Insubordination
Still think he should’ve been discipline it when he was openly disrespectful to the captain

    Loving Master the Masked Acting
Thank you so much for reading my post. I was extremely happy that you pronounced my name correctly, it was a rare gift, and I shared this episode with most of my family.

Great addition to a great series.
These podcasts are a fantastic way to enrich your Discovery experience. Chris and Amy are my particular favorites. Amy’s enthusiasm is infectious. Chris is reliably intelligent and insightful. Max’s negativity is insufferable and makes me want to stick an ice pick through my brain. Thankfully I can skip those.

    Always enjoyable.
I look forward to each episode of the Edge. It’s fun to join in on the discussions at Babel and have an opportunity to listen to many varying opinions. It has a great crew and wide ranging discussion without meandering which I appreciate in a podcast.

    I really love The Edge
I look forward to every podcast from The Edge after every new episode of Disco. It is so great to have new Trek on the air even if it is on CBS all Access I don't mind pay a litte for new Trek. I feel like the iconian gateways are going to play a part in Discovery ending up 1000 years in the future in Calypso. Anyway great show keep it up.

    Excellent Content
The Edge was the first podcast on the network that I listened to. I enjoyed all of them and continue to listen during the long wait for second season to start (yay for filming going on!!). I will say that I will miss B-Shea's presence on the show and wish him nothing but the best on his other porjects, like continuing on Warp 5(?). Keep up the excellent job guys.

    wonderfulness
Thanks for increasing my appreciation for this wonderful series. I get to rethink things every day with yous. And Chris, I am totally bought into your parallel universe theory. Can't wait for the TOS style episode 10 with Giorgou back <3

    Contrariness to the nth degree
I just finished listening to T9, the commentary on episode 9 of Discovery, my first ever exposure to The Edge, and I don't know how I made it to the end. Frankly, I found it a most unpleasant experience. Max Hegel hated virtually everything, disagreed with Mike on almost every point he made, and did so in the most grating way imaginable. On top of that his voice quality is very harsh and unmodulated making him hard on the ears. I don't know if I'll give another podcast a try, but there are others out there which are informative and analytical which are well worth my time.

    My story.
Around Early-August 2017, I've contacted Trek.fm about me wanting to be on a podcast talking about my TOS Recuts and in Late-August, i was contacted by Trek.fm saying that they will have someone contacting me soon and days later, i was contacted by Tony Robinson from Continuing Mission asking me to do the interview with him and so I did and it went very well, ever since that day. I have been listening to Trek.fm podcasts like the Edge, To The Journey, Earl Grey, The 602 Club and they deserve 5 stars.
  • STDiscoFan
A great podcast for a great show.
I was hoping for trek.fm to do a podcast since we discovered that we were getting a new show. And you did not disappoint. I love the main and all of the secondary ones each week. And I am sure that anyone that tries this podcast will love it as well.

    Informative and fun!
The Edge is your one stop shop for Star Trek: Discovery talk. With multiple episode releases throughout the week, you are never left wanting after the latest episode of Discovery airs. You want live reactions? Commentaries? Reactions from fellow Trekkies? In depth story analysis? Connections to the rest of the franchise? The Edge brings all of this and more every week. It’s also fun as a long time Trek.fm listener to hear hosts from across the network and beyond getting together in all sorts of fun combinations. The Edge makes this new Star Trek series even more special and enjoyable for me. Highly recommended. 🖖

Listening to the episode about everyone reminiscing about VHS recording the shows. This is so great!

    Boldly going to Discovery
Boldly going into into the next generation of Star Trek! All your favorite Trek.fm hosts come together to discuss the first Star Trek series in the age of podcasting. In the lead up to the show, they talk about all the rumors, news, and behind the scenes information available. When the show airs, we can expect an in depth discussion of the episodes as we'll all share the viewing together, not years removed. The production quality is top notch, as can be expected from Trek.fm shows. The hosts are professional and offer accurate information and interesting speculation. I can't wait to follow the expedition of Discovery together!
