Been listening to this podcast for about a year almost 2. I miss the old hosts, these 2 now just knit pick every little thing and make it seem like they don’t actually enjoy the show. Especially the lady host. She just rips the show on every podcast. Wish I could continue listening but I’m dropping this podcast. Sorry guys

I listen to many different podcast on a variety of topics but this is by far the best Podcast EVER! These guys really do know their Flash stuff. They are hilarious, thorough and witty. No plot devices will be found in this Podcast 😉. If you are looking for a great Flash Podcast that's as good as the TV Series then look no further.

I love tuning in week after week listening to Joe and Tony give their perspective about The Flash. They make me laugh each week with their ratings like 8.5 love donuts and many other things. They point out things that make me go back and watch the show again to see what I missed. A great podcast about a great show. Thanks for making me laugh and smile each week.

This podcast is undoubtedly the pick of the litter among comic book tv show podcasts. The guys have a great time, without falling in love with their own humor. They also know how to examine and analyze an episode and have fun with its flaws, without focusing on the negative. We listen to this kind of podcast to enhance our appreciation and enjoyment of the underlying show, this podcast above all others does just that.

'Twas neato my dudes

This used to be a weekly podcast highlight of mine when the hosts did most of the discussion and content; two knowledgeable Flash fans discussing the show and comics. This season instead of host discussion they let listener feedback and voicemails drive the episodes instead of adding it to the end of the show. I don't want to listen to random people around the country discuss the show, I want the hosts to. More feedback = a lesser podcast.

I've been watching CW superhero shows and listening to podcasts for a little under a year and just found this podcast recently. I really enjoy it and find the hosts funny without trying too hard like some others I've heard. Good insights and in depth discussion of the episodes. I like the feedback first approach they recently adopted. Keep it up guys!

I'm not a comic book reader but I stumbled on the flash tv show in season one and I've been hooked ever since. I feel the same way about this podcast. I've been listening since the middle of season one and I love the guys especially Joe. He always makes me laugh. I find the show educational as a non comic book person and entertaining as a general fan of the tv show. I listen to them every week for a full recap and intelligent analysis of the flash episodes. Also, their interview with Matt Leischer was very informative and interesting. I highly recommend this podcast for flash fans.

I have been listening since season 1. Joe and Tony know their comic books, and it shows. They have brought a lot of that insight into their review of each episode, with hints about what might be coming next. Of course, the showrunners have been picking and choosing from the comic book material, but it's still fun to speculate. Also, these two guys have a great sense of humor!

I've really enjoyed the podcast so far. I appreciate the fact that Tony and Joe bring a writer's viewpoint to their reviews and also are clearly fans not of the TV show but the comics. I've heard other podcasts where the hosts aren't long time Flash comics fans. While they still offer good insight, I find a knowledge of hte comics adds something special to each podcast epsode.

I have been a fan of Central City Underground since the Flash premiered, and I swear CCU gets better every year! Joe and Tony have such a passion and deep knowledge base of the comic lore that CCU is on my must listen list every week! Do yourself a favor and hit this one up! You won't regret it, :-)

Best Flash Podcast Period

To be honest, I was leary when this podcast changed host during the first season. Who were these two Bozos? Well, these two Bozos are funny, insightful hosts. They have great chemistry together. I love listening to their podcasts and interacting with them on Facebook and Blab. Keep up the great work, guys.

My family has been enjoying the Central City Underground for most of Season 1 and all of Season two. Tony and Joe create the perfect balance together, bringing all the great fans of Flash together in a unique but still GSM way of discussing the latest broadcasts. Highly reccamended for fans of Flash!

One of the best fan podcasts out there. If you can't get enough Flash and are looking for a fun companion to the show then you can't go wrong with CCU.

I love this podcast and the hosts! Tony and Joe make this show so enjoyable to listen to, and they are quite knowledgeable! I almost look forward to this show more than the actual Flash episode! And that's saying saying something!

If you are a watcher of the tv show The Flash, you definitely should add Central City Underground as a follow up show! The show has two great hosts (Tony, & Joseph) who both have tons of knowledge of The Flash. The Flash is not complete without Central City Underground. Highly recommended!

These guys are more fun! There energy is purely contagious. I love to listen to these guys. They add so much to the show it has made the Flash my favorite show by far because of this podcast.

Joe & Tony know their stuff when it comes to the Flash comics (and comics in general), which adds a great layer of history and mythology to the podcast. They're fun, entertaining, and have an easy-to-follow format. I give them 10 out of 10 giant psychic apes!

They talk about all the right things a comic book fan wants to hear. The way they respond to feedback on the show is hard to find anywhere else. You can't beat this show!

With a wealth of comics knowledge to bolster their analysis, Central City Underground has become just as important to the viewing of The Flash as the show itself. Tony and Joe were asked to do a very difficult thing by taking over a podcast from the beloved, original hosts. I was not a frequent listener perviously but since this change I’ve become a faithful follower. What Tony and Joe have done is reinvent the show as their own. The two men brought a very deep knowledge of all of the people who have been The Flash and of the larger DC Universe. This is helpful when analyzing where story threads are coming from or how they may develeop. Also, I love their enthusiasm and sense of humor. The show is a highlight for me every week.

The new hosts have really picked up the mantle of the originals and their knowledge and wit make for a great weekly review of The Flash. They make the show even more enjoyable - just what you want a fan podcast to do. Great job guys!

Great TV show with a pair of really good hosts who know what they are talking about. They talk about comics and the TV show and all is good. Take a listen, it works.

This is an excellent podcast, and I highly recommend it to anyone who watches Flash. The hosts are professional and knowledgeable about the show, and the characters. I appreciate that they can add insight into the comics history of the characters, and when they don't know something, they admit to that, and do their best. The sole negative with this show is that sometimes, and it's rare, their "role playing" or skits will go on too long. Other have given this podcast 1 star for this reason, and that's too bad. This segment of the show never lasts longer than a couple min, so please do not let it stop you from subscribing today.

Wow! THIS is how a fun tv fan podcast is done! Brian and Emilee not only do great show keeping Flash fans “in the know”, with what’s happening on the tv show, but they also bring some creative fun aspects to their podcast! If you watch Flash, be SURE to subscribe and listen to the Central City Underground podcast. CCU is a perfect companion show to go along with the tv show, and the sound quality is top notch!

The hosts of this show are trying very hard to be funny from laughing too much at every little thing to the whole premise of the show being an "underground" transmission. Why would anyone in Central City even need to go underground to talk about Flash in the first place? It's not a war zone or anything. But the worst thing about this podcast is the ignorance of the hosts. They clearly don't know what they're talking about. One of them talked in length about Flash guest-starring on a Spider-Man cartoon, which never has and never will happen since Flash is DC and Spider-Man is Marvel.if you don't know this basic fact, then you should not be hosting a podcast. There are a lot of Flash podcasts out there. Most of them are better than this.

Central City Underground nails it. They have the pacing and the energy to keep listeners engaged. They know the material well and provide good insight. And the production values are high. I’m in.

I disagree with JB97.9 - I enjoy the “role playing” and think this podcast is brilliant and creative. I understand the style may not be for everyone, but to say it’s “bad” is definitely incorrect. Fantastic job and worth a listen!
