Wuthering Heights (version 3 dramatic reading) by Emily Brontë (1818 - 1848)

7

The story centers on the all-encompassing, passionate, but ultimately doomed love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, and how this unresolved passion eventually destroys them and the people around them. There are differing opinions on whether this is the ultimate love story or the ultimate story of revenge. (Summary by Wikipedia and Amanda Friday)

I listened to LibriVox on YouTube, I had no idea they put it into podcast form. Very, very helpful when you’re in a position where you can’t read, but need to get through a book.

    Great
Appreciate this LibriVox dramatic reading of Wuthering Heights. It’s nice to have different voices when listening and I appreciate having a recording when I can’t read (e.g. driving) or when the text is denser as it helps to read along with the recording. Great book and I enjoyed this recording.
