BIOL 221 - A comprehensive study of the structure and function of microorganisms. Control of microorganisms, immunity, and microbes in the news are also presented. Selected infectious diseases are discussed; laboratory activities emphasize procedures and techniques for the laboratory study of microorganisms and related areas.
