HoHmp SiSAction Movie AwesomenessIt's fun to listen to people talk about movies but action movies don't always get the breakdown they deserve, but these guys give them their due attention. Good stuff all around
-
Alski76These guys actually know their stuff!Great chemistry. Don't always agree with their takes, but I respect their opinion because they never fake their enthusiasm for a movie. Will definitely subscribe.

GabeWW91Love the Quality and QuantityPlease don’t stop! Love listening to this podcast to and from work. I’d love to see y’all do Spiderman (2002) and Return of the Jedi. Thanks for the podcast option. Can’t say enough about this show.
-
CrypticOneLove it!Listened to these dudes talk about The Raid 2 and 13 Assassins. Awesome points of view and hilarious. Whoever keeps saying "savage!" or if its both is funny as hell because I always know what scene they're talking about. Makes me laugh. Keep it going fellas!

Two Weeks with PayRoll Tide!Discovered this podcast via the “crimson tide” episode. Instant subscriber! Feel like the rest of my drives home from now to eternity will be listening to this podcast. To “catch up,” I listened to the top 100 show to get a feel for how you liked certain movies. Look forward to hearing all the rest of the episodes. Your categories are very similar to the way I break down movies, including the “fist pump moments”. The chemistry between you two is almost as good as the movies you break down! Keep it up!

ErikBerrios1Great Stuff! In my top 3 podcasts to listen to and support on Patreon. A great show and concept, always doing a movie I like or love, never is there an episode I don’t like. Ben is hilarious and Andrew is just cool AF. lol if your debating on listening or not, do it, it’s a great show. As I can’t wait for each episode to come out. Great Stuff!

DarkextractWarrior???I absolutely love this podcast, and making my way through. Just finished Face-Off and preparing myself for WARRIOR, but not on iTunes. Plz say it will be placed, so this can continue to be rated 5stars;-)

CarmicConSo much good info on action movies, interesting episodes. Love them!AMA is a favorite of mine! I came across this podcast about 6 months ago when looking for material to listen to on a 14-hour roadtrip, and this was perfect. I could listen to these two all day talk about movies. They get so psyched for each show, and often, I've been compelled to go watch other movies they mention or go back and re-watch films they've covered on the episodes because their enthusiam gets me pumped. I love you guys and am happy that you get to do what you do!
-
Ken-NYCMust Listen If You Are an Action Movie FanI recently discovered AMA and am catching up on all the shows. It is now easily my favorite podcast/YouTube show. Ben and Adam are well prepared and knowledgeable without being pretentious and passionate wihout being shrill. Also love their impersonations of Cruise and Cage and would watch a show of them just reading lines from unrealted movies using their Cruise and Cage voices.
-
poofy17106i've listened to every last oneYou were the 1st podcast i listened to and you are still my favorite!
-
B. PhlatGreat Podcast!I became interested in action movies after listening to this podcast! Fury Road, John Wick, Predator, Point Break, I might have never enjoyed these films had i not listened to these guys discuss them.
-
Nivey05A podcast on one particular movieThis podcast is of a type I have been looking for, for some time now. A podcast devoted to only one film at a time and breaking down the good and the bad of that film. I really love how intelligent the host are in their analysis of each film. There are so many films of the last 30+ years that hold-up to films of today. Its great to see that a podcast will delve into deep discussions of these films. I highly recommend this podcast! I hope the host continue with this podcast, it's a rare find this one is!
-
@Miss_MoviesThesis: this is the best movie podcast about action films after 1981I recently started listening to Action Movie Anatomy Podcast and I can’t recommend it enough to people. Very few podcasts focus on one genre of film. What I like about AMA is how specific they are about which movies they will discuss as well as how they discuss them. The chemistry between the two hosts shows that not only do they love film they are also good friends. I enjoy their segments from their thesis statement, alternate tag lines, and recasting the main characters of the film. I’m looking forward to my favorite action films being highlighted at some point: Cliffhanger, Enemy of the State, as well as True Lies. Fingers crossed! Keep up the good work, guys! L, Miss Movies

The Real MoviemanGreat Show!I recently came across this show when The Fugitive was on TV and wanted to listen to reviews of the classic film. The two hosts work great off one another and now I'm hooked, looking forward to each new episode. To those on the fence, it's well worth either subscribing on iTunes or watching on YouTube.
-
Thomas_GuyGreat show/podcast for action movie fans!Action Movie Anatomy is a great show/podcast for action movie fans because of hosts Ben Bateman and Andrew Ghai. Bateman and Ghai are very knowledgeable about action movies and you can tell that they are true fans. Plus, their Tom Cruise impersonations are spot on and hilarious. Definitely check this one out.
-
@RudeDogg93Awesome ShowThe show is full of fun games, great information, and the hosts kill it every week.
-
Jake heisenripbauerAndrew and Ben RuleYou guys really know your stuff, and you guys are hilarious! Impressions of Arnold and Tom Cruise are awesome, keep it up guys!
-
Prime ShockOk guys I've been thinking....I feel like 300 and 300 Rise of an Empire would be perfect for the show. They follow each rule. Made after 1981. King Leonidas and Themistokles are the smartest heroes in the room while Xerxes and Artmesia are the smartest villans in the room. Each have an explosion with massive fight sequences. Each movie deals with the Spartan and Athenian military. Each movie has great one liners and they give Predator a run for its money in the amount of abs and biceps. Other movies I hope you guys get to are Battle Los Angels, Public Enemies(2009), A-team (2010), Expendables franchise, Red franchise, GI Joe franchise. Keep up the great work guys!
-
Emperor JonGreat showThese guys inspire me to go back and watch movies I love and have seen 100 times with their enthusiasm. They also have gotten me to watch a few movies I hadn't seen. If you love action movies you need to listen to AMA.
-
HetcomGreat Podcast for Action Movie FansBen and Andrew have great chemistry, the guests are always diverse and interesting, and it's cool to see action movies, old and new, analyzed and dissected.
-
notpsustudentA Ridiculously Legitimate Show! This is the perfect balance between sophisticated reviews and wacky fun for movie fans. Ben Bateman and Andrew Ghai have a structure but aren’t afraid to deviate for the sake of comedy and entertainment. Great guests, fun films, and the feeling that you’re watching these films with friends the whole time!
-
BobrulesOne of my favorites! These guys do really solid in-depth reviews for the best action movies on the planet. Plus, you gotta love Tom Cruise! Keep it up guys!
-

Tommy B_512Great Podcast for Action Movie FansI listen to a lot of podcasts, and this one has recently become high on my list. These guys do a great job of not only analyzing the movies, but also providing a lot of information about production, casting and trivia I wouldn’t have otherwise been privy too. That kind of stuff is super interesting to me. I highly recommend this podcast for any action movie fan.
-
Rob BeastlyFun Look at the Anatomy Action MoviesFun talk show that covers everything from behind the scense information to the scenes and performances that make individual actions great. If u like to learn new things you did not know about your favorate action movies then then try this show out. The only thing i do not like about this show is that in the begining they show the trailer for the movie they are covering but they talk over the trailer and it bothers me. but the rest of the show is fun. I like hearing about their fist pump moments of the movie and thinking of what my fist pump moment and i like when they hypothetically recast the older movies with todays actors. If u like action movies and like to learn more about action movies then give this show a try.
-
bravlu74Awesome showAwesome podcast for the action movie. And I'm not just saying this for a free mug. The hosts are like Tango&Cash.
-
Geoff the RecruiterDefinitely one of the best out there.....Andrew and Ben do a fantastic job of having an in-depth discussion of some of the best action movies of recent movies - their love of this genre bleads through every minute of every episode! Would love to see them take on some of the better James Bond films.....
-
Steven536Great ShowThis show is amazing. From the format to the outstanding knowledge of movies that the hosts have, it has become a must listen each week. Please do Drive and give me a free mug.
-
flyry23The BestI listen to a LOT of movie podcasts. Enough to get me through 8 hours a day 5 days a week. and this is always the most enjoyable. The crew has an amazing chemistry together and actually always get me pumped up to watch whatever movie they are talking about. Definitely the most passion out there. Tom Cruise impression is one of my favorite things in life. PLEASE do Minority Report ASAP.
-
The Great UnseenQuirky and insightful funThought I would kill two birds with one stone. Firstly, Roxy needs to be a permanent host. She balances out the show nicely. Great humor, good pacing, and if you love action movies it is a must add to your podcast section. Not sure why these guys are so obsessed with Tom Cruise (or Nic Cage), but it's a lot of fun listening to them banter on about it. More Movies, More Podcast, More Roxy!!!!
-
Scoops35Huge Action Movie genre fanKeep up the great work guys. Lately you have brought some of my favorites to the show with Predator, The Bourne Identity (fav trilogy), Gladiator and now Aliens. Andrew and Ben break down these and other Action movies amazingly. Ive been watching since “Edge of Tomorrow”. Question is when will they be doing Point Break? hopefully soon to beat out what looks like a cheesy remake this December. Anyhow watch the show.. great for any action movie fan.
-

JasonCageMugGreat show. I want a mug please

Maxbrockman453More like Tom Cruise AnatomyBOOM Roasted!!! In all seriousness though. These guys are freaking hilarious, its obvious that they LOVE talking about movies and their wittiness banter and overall charisma is infectious. I love watching Ben and Andrew nerd out, it always feels like I’m hanging out with them and I’ve watched pretty much everything they’ve made. They do talk about Tom Cruise a lot…. like every single time.
-
@HurstculesBest of Popcorn TalkThis is one of my favorite movie analysis shows, and I watch plenty. These guys have the passion for action films of a couple of frat boys, but the insight and intelligence of a couple of frat boys from a better school...maybe in the ivy league. If you love action movies that range from guilty pleasures to all-time classics, this is the show for you!
-
mastershake28I love this podcastBen and Andrew are awesome hosts. The show is entertaining as hell and I love having a show to watch every week that is dedicated entirely to action movies. Besides Ben and Andrew, the guest hosts that have come on have all been great as well. I love how the show goes in depth into the production and technical aspects of film, and some of the behind-the-scenes stories about these action movies are really interesting. Keep up the great work guys!
-
rrakeshraGreat discussion show and knowledgable hostsBen and Andrew are great hosts who really know their stuff. There's plenty of great discussions in this show and they always choose great movies. If I could level one complaint it would be that the show has a bit too rigid a structure. Sometimes I wish the discussion would just flow instead of stopping to move onto the next segment.
-
Mcpj76ersGreat show for action movie fansQuite simply, if you like action movies you will love this podcast. This show is phenomenal every guest is great and the format is top notch.

JLF*+SportsCenter for Action MoviesAction Movie Anatomy is SportsCenter for Action Movie fans. They breakdown the movies we love by talking about the moments we love in the movie. They discuss why these are fist bump moments. The two handsome hosts (yes I'm comfortable with that) Andrew Ghai & Ben Batemen run through the cast, give you the cast's highlights in their careers, talk about the main star...They just show you their appreciation for the film and appreciation for the action star. Yes Andrew & Ben actually look like Sports Analysts, but they're fans, just like everybody else. So when I hear them talking about a favorite scene or favorite line, that's my favorite part of the podcast, becuase I get to see the guys geek out about a movie that I too geek out about. It's a celebration of Action & Cheesiness. It's an overall Great Time....And Ben does a killer impression of Tom Cruise. Now onto my recasting of Predator, if I had to do it today: 1) Dutch: Mark Wahlberg, because he can play cocky and he can play military. He's not a consistently great actor, but he shines in particular roles. He can be a Con Man, Law Man, a Soldier, and he can definiteley play a man who thinks alot of himself. He's perfect for Dutch, because he can build muscle, and he pulls off playing a strategic leader and soldier. 2) Dillon: Erik King, I've seen him play the tough guy on Dexter and he looks like a tough guy. But also he can play untrust worthy, which he also displayed on Dexter. 3) Mac: Don Cheadle, he can play team player. He can give emotion to the character of Mac, when emotion is called for that character. I can see Cheadle being in fear of the situation of being hunted by a killer, but also show the anger within himself when his fellow teammates are getting picked off. I also think he could play crazy. 4) Blain: Ron Pearlman, now I know Blain is suppose to be Southern, and I don't know if Ron Pearlman can play southern, but he can play tough, he can play offensive, and he can play funny. I'd also like to see the interaction between him and Cheadle. 5) Billy: Michelle Rodriguez, I know Billy was originally played by Sonny Landham who is a Native American actor. And his character is to be a great soldier/mercenary, especially when he's in the jungle setting, because he's suppose to be synced into nature, but I believe the role would benefit from a character/solider who's familiar with the area, the jungle, Central America. I chose Michelle, because she's played military, she can use her spanish tongue. And she could add more bad assness to the role. And finally...I'M GOING TO GET A MUG!!!

StuvenThese guys know their stuffThis is a really in depth podcast featuring some really cool info I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The fake Nicolas Cage audition video was hilarious. Looking for more reviews of my favorite movies.
