    Made Me An AFL Fan
I'm an American that just found the AFL last year, and I now love the game in no small part to the 3 of you guys making me laugh each week and also giving the occasional decent advice. I don't know a single person who knows one thing about the AFL, so it's great to be able to listen to you guys agonizing over the same decisions that I am facing each week. Thanks for your great work and for putting together my favorite podcast out there.

Best way to get to know the league
I’m a Yank getting ready for my fourth season as an AFL fan. Starting to play fantasy and listening to this podcast were the two things that most helped me get to know the teams and players. It’s true that at first I had some minor trouble figuring out which players they were talking about at times, with the combination of the accents and the nicknames. But after listening to every single episode for a few months I didn’t have any more trouble. The chemistry is good and the production value is excellent. No dead air or awkward transitions like you sometimes get with less professional shows. My decision to call these boys “professional” is probably a questionable one, but I’m hoping if I’m nice enough they’ll stop taking pot-shots at my team every week.

Great Resource for those New to Footy
I’m a Yank that fell in love with footy while visiting Sydney last year. This will be my first full season watching AFL and no better way to learn than playing fantasy. This podcast is great resource for me to know what I’m doing. My only issue is that at times it’s hard to know what players they are talking about. For a newb, I would like it better if they would stick to saying the last name of a player rather than nicknames. Also, they sometimes are all over the place on what players they are talking about. I wish they would say the team name and positions when they start talking about a player. Obviously, I’m new so this probably doesn’t matter to the more hardcore. Just my two cents, from someone that is just learning. Cheers.

    Fantastic!
Legends! Congratulations on successful fantasy seasons! Well done, boys. I started watching AFL three years ago and have played Fantasy AFL each of the last two season. All of your advice and insight has helped me improve my ranking greatly over the last two years. Thanks for that. Although my results are still modest compared to yours, I have high hopes for next year! I’m looking for a new hat, perhaps with a number on it. It gets cold here in Buffalo, New York. Matt Julius
