Love this show, but some constructive criticism…
Karen and Derek have great taste in movies. I enjoy listening to them discuss some of the lesser-known, and/or more obscure movie releases that come out. That being said, two things have really been bothering me about this podcast lately…Derek almost always sounds dismissive of Karen’s opinions on films, good or bad. It may not be intentional, but it often comes off like he’s minimizing her thoughts on a movie. I don’t know…it’s just been rubbing me the wrong way. Also, I’m definitely not an audiophile by any means, but if you guys created a fundraiser to get Derek a better microphone, I would gladly pitch in. It sounds like he’s recording his audio through an old telephone, which just shouldn’t happen in 2024. It’s only really noticeable because Karen’s microphone sounds so much better. I didn’t intend this to be such a Derek-centric review (love you guys, I really do), but those 2 aspects alone have been making it hard for me to listen to the podcast lately.

    Love the Watch and Talk
I am really enjoying the movie discussion and the chat about the movies. I’m also loving the LOST rewatch podcast. It’s interesting and informative. Thanks for taking the time to do it!

    Reviews and opinions on Movies
Dylan has been doing reviews for quite some time now. The quality of them has improved over the years. For a podcst that I would listen to anyway the addition of Karen M. Peterson and Derek Miranda is a great. Each person has is their own input to the show. Having a balance of opions makes for a more enjoyable show. I don't agree with 100% with their reviews, but what is the point in only hearing things you agree with.

    Long time listener
Love the Schuckster, and all his co-hosts! Thank you guys for the excellent work on these podcasts. You all obviously care about this craft, and it comes through loud and clear. Started listening with the Dead inside show, and have now subscribed to all of the podcasts. Loving the Top 100, even if I disagree with the stupid point system :) Listening to the Legacy of Lost now as well, Gina is my fave of course, and Daniel brings the new eyes to the re-watch with as much pleasure (and a little disgust) as the rest of us did. Hanging on waiting for the threatened 24 rewatch and talk too. Thank you guys for all you do. Love it.

Like talking about the movies with friends
Long time listener, first time reviewer. I love this podcast and the unique perspectives that each host brings to the show. Dylan is one of the hardest working hosts in the podcast business and yet manages to make each one quality every time.

    Always a fun listen
Absolutely love this podcast. Great insight from people who view movies so differently. The gust appearances also add a great twist. The watch and talk is a great way to get through a couple hours!

    My film and tv friends
I love this crew, format and content. Thank you Dylan for creating a must listen companion piece for everything Movies and TV I enjoy, and some that I hate. I don't have enough time to go see everything that comes out and being able to live vicariously through your reviews is now a habit I hope I can keep feeding forever. The TV podcasts are even more fun for me since I can keep up with those more easily. Unfortunately I don't have as many friends that like to think critically and analyze stuff, so I consider my time listening to be conversing with good friends about the latest episodes. I'm a Patreon contributor and huge fan, and I look forward to your future casts.

    The BEST movie reviews around!
You need to listen to this show if you love movies. Dylan is extremely well informed and when he isn’t about a particular area, he goes and does the research. His guests are frequently writer, directors, or professors of film who really know their stuff too! The format is the best possible with a non-spoiler portion followed by spoilers after a warning. I really love the discussions around Top Five lists, especially when they get controversial (Grievous but no Vader, Dylan?!). Dylan does a great job moving the show along and the entire production each week is extremely professional. My only complaint is we don’t get John Bucher as a co-host more often!

    3 billboards
I enjoyed their review but disagreed. Felt this film was “tone deaf” on how it addressed racist cop, it’s off humor using degrading terms for “little people” , Afro Americans and gay people for a cheap laugh.

Sean Mulvihill - Drunk or just incredibly annoying?
I just listened to the Fences podcast and, as usual, Dylan Schuck was amazing. But what's up with Sean Mulvihill? Is his speech just naturally slurred and slow or was he drunk out of his mind? How many times did he repeat his opinion that Fences sucked because it was just a filmed play? I got it by the fifth time and then it became obnoxious. And if Mulvihill's excuse is that he's "special," please excuse this review.

    Illogical dolts
Hacksaw Ridge has the highest audience alike have any of the other films, so for you to say it doesn't belong in the best picture category is completely illogical and stupid.

Had a lot of fun being a guest!
I was a guest on The Watch and Talk and had a lot of fun talking about our lack of memory on musician biopics and how Pop Star was surpisingly pretty funny. Would definitely recommend this show to everyone interested in movies!

    Great Movie and TV Podcast
I’ve listened to many of Dylan Schuck’s TV review podcasts and am enjoying his return to movie podcasting. He has a genuine love for TV and film, which is the most important thing for a critic to have. He’s also willing to talk honestly when he doesn’t like something, which is also important for me. He’s clearly interested in giving people good advice about what they should be watching - and that’s what I’m looking for in a podcast like this. If you’re looking for an honest, unpretentious guide to Film and TV from someone who has a passion for the subject, check out this podcast. He always has good guest hosts and creates a fun, relaxed dynamic with a lot of humor.

His name is Schuck. Dylan Schuck.
What can I say about Dylan Schuck? He's a genius, thousandaire, playboy podcaster. He is a cool person and my rockstar. Dylan has many shows and I listen to all of them. He always makes some kind of movie reference on his shows. So, I'm happy that Dylan has his own film podcast where he can discuss movies and TV at his leisure. You may not always agree with him, but that's OK. It's entertaining. Also, he has guest hosts, so you get a mix of opinions on the movie of the week. You will enjoy this podcast, I promise.
