JSimmo19Super helpfulI serve as a Family Pastor and am about 6 years into vocational ministry. This podcast has been immensely beneficial, and wholly enjoyable, to listen to. Thank you!

Fayetteville, Ar Youth PastorGreat Listen for AnyoneI’m a Youth Pastor of a small church. I have obtained so much valuable/God Centered information from these Pastors. They have stretched my thoughts, vision and ideology on the nuts/bolts of church ministry.

Pastor Ian in IronwoodIt's Ok, Outside of the CalvinismMost of the topics are excellent and the group does a very good job at least talking about topics pastors and churches can certainly encounter. I have nearly dropped them from my rotation over the subtle promotions of Reformed theology and the near constant references to Calvinistic pastors and ministries. After hearing one of the three express his lack of need to defend Calvinism, because it isso obviously right, in episode 153, I nearly dropped them right there. At this point, I am about one more reference away from giving them the boot.

jschmidt79Love it!Like Sam I am ready to fight at the drop of the hat

Bivo PastorGreat help to bivocational pastors! This podcast does a great job of talking about the things that I face in a general way. As a bivocational pastor in a rural community with a church with 85 in attendance and 120 years of tradition, these guys speak to things that I can do, and do so with an appropriate respect. Check them out!

Pastor AdamWillFantastic! As a pastor of a rural, established church, I find this podcast so helpful. I listen to each episode and am encouraged, challenged, and laugh a little too. The hosts are down-to-earth and I feel like they’re in my car with me, discussing life and ministry.

AndrewBushardWinner!Besides occassional guilt tripping foolishness like "Africans can't take vacations" (yes, Africans do take vacations; I've seen it), these guys drop wisdom left and right. You better have a pen ready, because you'll be constantly writting down the wisdom gems they share. I love how they think deeply about their calling and have entertaining banter. I love their passion for pastoring. The New Churches Q&A Podcast recommended the Lifeway Leadership Network which led me to this. So intellectually and spiritually stimulating!
-
Fithog@estchurchGreat podcast primarily for established church pastors but relevant and practical for every pastor. Solid wisdom born out of experience by three local church pastors in a conversational style. It is not an echo chamber. Each pastor has his own take on the various topics. Worth 30 minutes each week. I never miss an episode.
-
Pastor DJ McKGreat podcast for those called to shepherd an established churchI love listening to Josh, Sam, and Micah, the guests have been awesome, and as a 40 year old in his first lead pastorate, these guys sharing their wisdom is a course, lesson, and mentorship I enjoy

troywallen74Super HelpfulGreat podcast for pastors of established churches. Micah, Josh, and Sam help pastors and church leaders think through innovative ways to help established churches remain viable and relevant. Very practical and applicable regardless of how large or small your church may be.

Cody@anderson merxhGood content/not so good audio qualityGreat podcast for leaders of the established church, especially those of you that are part of SBC... Only issue is the audio quality is hit or miss from one podcast to another. It often goes from distortion to a whisper within a podcast. I listen to podcast at work all day and find myself having to turn up and turn down podcast depending on who is talking and how close they are to the mic. Keep up the good work!
-
PastorpastaFantastic Church Leaders PodcastSo many church leadership podcasts talk about things I never experience in my established church. To be honest, I never realized that it was because I was in an established church until this podcast came along. Now I’m able to better appreciate the unique challenges that myself and others experience as established church pastors. Every episode hits home and is relevant and helpful for me and our church. Thank you guys for your hard work putting out solid content each week. Keep it up!

PreachBoldInvaluable insight by exceptional leadersAs someone who has worked in the established church for years and now serving as a first time Senior Pastor at one, EST has been invaluable resoure for me and has helped shaped many of my thoughts and strategies in what we are trying to implement in our 100+ year old capitol city SC church. I appreciate the continual encouragement EST brings to church leaders and the consistent sense of humor that Micah, Josh, and Sam have with each other make it an easy listen. Keep up the good work guys!

tnt404Thankful!So thankful for this podcast. It really touches on the day to day work and ministry of a pastor! This podcast gives conversation and thought to issues that pastors face on a very practical level. This is a podcast by pastor's for pastor's! Thanks guys!

mikekellyonlineDifferent PerspectiveI love this podcast! Someone told me this is the wrong podcast to listen to in my current context. They quickly learned the error of their ways. Reason they thought that, I'm not a pastor. In fact they argued that I didn't have any experience of Established. See, I'm in the Navy on Active Duty. Always on the move. I'm also a Lifegroup leader and teacher. This is what brings me to this podcast. Wait for it... I'm in the Navy. I'm possibly here today and gone tomorrow. That means every time I go to a new church and lead a Lifegroup, I'm stepping into an established church and group. I didn't start the group. It existed before me. Now it's my time to lead. I've learned a lot so far from EST. Thank you guys for putting it together.

JJSpellPriceless MaterialI love this podcast. The content is great. Each episode is challenging, informative, thought-provoking and full of wisdom. I love how differing views are shared on each topic and all the guys don't fully agree on everything, sometimes due to different contexts, but have kindred spirits to see the est. church grow. I also love how Sam, Micah, and Josh all share experience and viewpoints from and in various sized church contexts. This was a much needed addition to my podcast subscription.

Steven GunterNeed Help? Listen! If you are in an established church, an established church pastor, or even just wanting to learn about real life ministry, you need to listen to this podcast. Micah, Sam and Josh have a wealth of information and experience and use it to give clear advice along with practical application. Also, they give "in the trenches" stories that make you feel not so bad about your current situation. Often times, as a young pastor in a established church, i've felt that I'm the only one going through a certain situation. Once I listened to this podcast, I realized I'm not so alone and at least people aren't smoking during the service...
-
MtyouthguyHelpful & EncouragingI recently found out about EST from Rainer on Leadership and have gone back and listened to most of the previous podcasts. They have helped me think through how and why we do things in the established church and have encouraged me to continue loving the established church God has called me to serve. I'm sure you'll enjoy listening.

JdickinsonIt's about time.As a Millenial starting a new pastorate at an established church, it is a fresh breath to find other pastors who are willing to invest in established churches to help build the Kingdom with faithful men and women. There are challenges, to be sure, and the EST. trifecta are not shy to engage them. Carry on, men. There are many of us our there praying for and laboring with you. Grace.
-
HomestakeInsightful! As a current elder of our congregation, I find the podcasts are a great reminder for what our pastor faces on a daily basis so that I may pray and encourage him more specifically. The messages are also helpful as I pray about answering the call to either vocational or bi-vocational ministry. Thank you!
-
PEC...Pastor, you need to hear this. These are incredibly helpful, genuine conversations between pastors and frequent guests about ministry in established churches. I'll definitely be recommending this to pastor friends of mine and suggesting specific episodes to church leaders, too. (Overlook the technical difficulties; it adds character.)

Nriley312LOVE IT!I love EST and their purpose! As a young pastor, I love to learn from their experience of growing the established church without seperating it from her history. One of my favorite epidsodes was about setting goals as a pastor. I believe that this will be a podcast that I check out every week for years to come! The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is often there is background noise that can be very distracting. This has included feedback, birds chirping, typing on a computer, muting and unmuting individuals. This definely does not take away from the overall message, but is still distracting.
-
Shane LesterPastorGreat podcast about loving, encouraging, and leading the established church! Love it! Practical and theologically sound. If you are serving in an established church, you will benefit from this podcast.
-
WesFaulkPastorI've been lead pastoring for the past 12 years. The principles and application taught in this podcast tie directly into ministry. I wish EST. would have been around when I stepped into my first church and I am glad I can learn now from these men. These are not superstar pastors, but men who walk the same road we all walk. Every episode I glean something for my ministry. It is a must listen.
-
@jjhawesA MUST for every pastor! As a young pastor leading a revitalization effort in north Denver, I have found this podcast to be extremely helpful. Not only for me, but for my church leaders as well. I look forward to each episode!
-
BbcpastorRelevant, Real, Reproducible...When these brothers on this podcast speak to any topic or issue regarding the established church, I know I won't be wasting my time listening to them. Everywhere I look, including where I currently serve, I see the established church. Furthermore, it's like they have been reading my church's history and looking into our ongoing strategy. Love that with each episode, there are practical and relevant ideas that I can implement IMMEDIATELY, not "some day" when my church gets there...thanks guys for speaking the established chuches language.
-
Andrew's DaddyGreat conversation starter! This podcast has been a great help to me and our team! Whether it's similarities to other established churches or new ideas from Micah, Sam, and Josh, the benefits from listening have been huge for me!

-
Joshtillman83A Great ConversationEST is a much needed tool for pastors. It is encouraging to hear other pastors talk about the reallity of pastoring an established church. Micah, Sam, and Josh give great advice, share personal stories, and interact with great issues and topics. Forgive Josh for being a Cowboys fan...other than that, it's a great podcast to follow.

MCooper24For The Established ChurchI currently pastor an established church with all her scars and blemishes. But there is indeed beauty in the established church. Micah, Sam, and Josh highlight that beauty in EST. For seasoned pastors and young guys in order church this podcast is encouraging. These pastors speak practically about real issues but also challenge pastors to continue loving the established church. This podcast is unique!
-
rdp0408Very Informative PodcastLove hearing from experienced pastors about working in the established church. Many times in church leadership it is good to just hear an encouraging message about why we do this, and pratical steps on how to continue strong. I am looking forward to keeping up with you guys. Keep it up!
