    Too Left Leaning
I was enjoying the simple, slightly juvenile stories as a great background noise but it starts to get a bit left of center with pronoun virtue signaling in the second season. Probably will stop listening.
  • Shellic2
    Totally immersive
I love this show. I just started listening two days ago I have binged all of the seasons I cannot stop listening. Absolutely love it can’t wait for season four…

    Good show but…
Can’t understand the reason you decided to take the Lords name in vain so often. There are many other options. Seems unnecessary especially considering the nature and them of the show! Gave it a chance, made it to episode 8.
  • Zylktastic
    What a great podcast!!!
Binge worthy, the episodes are short, wish they were a little longer, maybe 45 min. The end of every episode leaves you wanting to know more and what’s happening next. Great storytelling and characters. Can’t wait for season 4 Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼
  • Awesomenesslyamazing
    No
Writing is as if an elementary student is thinking of a story. No character development and the sheriff Crowley episodes no I will not buy the premium but that preview for the first episode is ridiculous. How would a sheriff let alone anyone allow a person with a gun shoot one person and not break into the building? Just horrendous writing and won’t give it a second thought.

    Okay
I like the show but Dr. John Spacer is an idiot.
  • TiBetnChina
    Really enjoyed this show!
The story actually works across all the seasons, which I found to be an unexpected surprise. I binged all 3 seasons this week and am hoping for season 4 soon…!!
  • Boglemiester
    I love this show!
I listen to a lot of drama podcasts, and How I Died is one of my favorites. I binged all three seasons - from episode one all the way to the cliffhanger at the end of season 3- and I am so excited for the next season.
  • Loomotyi
    Wonderful Podcast!!
I am so happy to have found this podcast. I rarely listen outside of the true-crime genre however I was hooked by episode 1. This is a wonderful escape on my day to and from work. The forensic notes, investigative thoughts and story telling by Dr. Spacer are superb.
  • VaStarr27
Good show except for the cursing
Really enjoy the story lines and the acting I just wish the lead would stop taking the lords name in vain it doesn’t add anything to the show.
  • Moiriss8
    Great story
Love this show from day one. I hope it continues after season 3.
  • Podcast listenerrrr
    Unbalanced. Too Left leaning
The first season was fantastic, felt pretty balanced, and not left or right leaning but perfectly centered for everyone to enjoy. Seems like the creators hard-lined on the second season though. Focused too much in LGBTQ+ talking points. Like way too much. Felt very forced and super obnoxious. Way to drop off, team. Good job lol. Would have been 5 stars all the way if you didnt ruin it by forcing politics into it.

    Seriously SO good
I found this podcast after I finished the first season of Woodbine (if you haven’t listened to this, or Parkdale Haunt, I highly recommend!) and it’s such a fun podcast. It’s got horror, comedy, and twists and turns!
  • DMB73
    Great Premise
I like the show. And I like the premise. But there are characters that just are straight up irritating. The sheriff is way too hostile and angry and definitely has control issues. Maybe the character will develop as the show goes on but right now I seriously can’t stand the sheriff’s character and she makes it hard to listen to.
  • Dominic Hendryx
    Terrible writing
The main character is such a soft as butter wussy man and the sheriff so acidic and unprofessional, the show is nearly unlistenable. The author dwells in some kind of writers fantasy world where people cower in fear of blatant disrespect. Zero stars.

    Nice!! Binged all seasons
Awesome show I can’t wait for another season.

    Love it
Why isn’t there more? Im addicted. Great job done by all. Short, episodic immersive audio with a cast full of voices easy to listen to. I’m enthralled.

    Pretty Good
Interesting, juicy storyline, fun. Not a fan of Crowley’s unending aggression and some of the acting not great.

    Loved!
I finished this series in 2 days I swear. It was too good. So sad when it ended. Recommending to my friends
  • WHYDOINEEDONE7363728
John saying he loves every episode after the ep
The show isn’t good, but then hearing the main character voice afterwards talking about how the episode is his favorite every single episode… perhaps aggregate the reactions to a single episode talking about thoughts and feelings over each episode of the season rather than spending the duration of the podcast talking about how much you loved the podcast.
  • mattsmith0622
    Fantastic show!
Bloody good show. Voice acting is solid, sound production is great, and the story is really, really good. Also, minimal ad breaks, which is always appreciated. You should be listening to this show. Start from the beginning.
  • gloriaNoto
    Love this show! But…
First off, I want to start by saying I really enjoyed the show, the diversity and gender conversation, absolutely love ghosts , fun storylines, and I can tell a lot of work is put into it. The one thing that I do have to say about it is that it seems like all of the characters have extreme amounts of aggression and seem highly aggravated, which causes me a lot of stress sometimes when I’m listening to it.I wish the characters didn’t go from 0 to 1000 in there aggression so often. That’s all! Otherwise, I love it.
  • Maak_Art
    WILDLY Amazing!!
I love this story. It reminds me of my favorite QCode pod-stories. I’m SO GLAD that I found this Podcast!!
  • Tami Carnation
    Could be good
The concept is fun. The story is fun. The sheriff is not. One of the most annoying characters I’ve ever come across in a fictional podcast. She’s almost pushing me out the door, I can’t take her much more.
  • Greenmtnchild
    Half self-congratulations
The story is good, but the episodes are very short - fully half the time is spent by the creator talking about how this episode (every episode) is his favorite because of a, b, c…plus ads. I would pay to get rid of both of these things.
  • AaronStrix
    OH WOW
This show is amazing! It’s hard for me to find new shows that are audio dramas and not “talk show podcasts” I’ve listened to hundreds multiple times. This will be a show I’ll also repeat, I listen to this show on here for while I’m paying attention, and listen to it in Spotify to fall asleep to it. “ podcast audio dramas help me sleep” amazing work to everyone involved and thank you so much for the entertainment!

    I am hooked
It has been a while since I was immediately hooked to the show. Every episode, it’s a different case but they still link to each other, kind of like Law & Order format. Love it! Please make more.

  • UltraPrecisionEngineer
One of the most incredibly creative productions
This has to be one of THE best ‘casts available with its unique story line, plot twists and endearing characters. I am totally blown away by the amazing creativity and well-thought-out setup of the characters, interactions and “what in the F did I just hear?” moments. This acting & writing crew is amazing, and deserves every bit of support they garner from their audience. I sincerely wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5!

Great story and keeps your attention to the very last second!

    Binge worthy!
If you’re looking for sci-fi crime story type podcast. This is the one to listen to so get started! ;-)
  • Bitsyboorud
    Interesting concept
I listened halfway through season two, but then I couldn’t do it anymore. The idea is sound, the concept is sound, production is top-notch, but never understood the dynamic between Crowley and John. Crowley is super one dimensional, and after a while, just began to bug. I understand that the creator is trying to world build, still, but after a while, the story just became a tad self indulgent.
  • Ashgabbi
    Worth the listen!
Soothing voice in the main character which makes listening to the show so flowing! Great story with each episode that takes you in the journey. The cast, story plot, immersive sound is worth the listen!
  • Bear-Owl
    I love Kurtis
Listening to S2, E1, and I love Kurtis. It’s always great to have characters who might not know anything about LGBTQIA+ issues, but are still supportive and willing to grow at such a fast speed. As a demiboy, (he-they) it really warms my heart to have not just LGBTQIA+ representation, but actual positive discussion of it. Best episode so far.
  • Jenloubarn

    How I died
Great story line keep up the amazing story!!
  • MisterBoxer
    Great narrative, disappointing development
This story is engaging and very well written in general. However, the main female characters of (The sheriff and the psychiatrist) quickly grew unnecessarily arrogant, hostile, and manipulative. The sheriff had an episode highlighting her intelligence and abilities. Within the next few episodes she became needlessly ignorant and belligerent. Same with the psychiatrist supposedly evaluating Jon. It quickly became annoying; a disappointment because the idea of a doctor who can see ghosts was well executed here, and those were two VERY strong female characters with great substance.
  • cjrouley
    Entertaining and just creepy enough
Love the creepy storyline. Each episode is a little different, so I don’t feel lost if I haven’t listened in a minute. Good voice acting keeps it entertaining and fun to keep listening to.
  • fatstuffalicious
Decent storylines, some thin acting & a TERRIBLE therapist
I started listening to season 2 fwiw, and was immediately drawn in. The acting for the main character’s nemesis is a little overdone (she’s either the most rageful person ever or she can’t unclench her jaw. Ever. Or both.). And the therapist reviewing the protagonist is so horrible as a therapeutic practitioner I can hardly listen to it.
  • 19473612
    Wonderful!
The story is unique, the acting great, and the sound design is beyond! Such detail and awareness of the little things that make it sound amazing! I’m glad the episodes are longer in season 2. As a mortician, it’s fun to hear things I’m specialized in and everything thus far has been accurate. This is my new favorite.
