Clever hosts, interesting insight, and deliver all news regarding Chelsea

As a Chelsea fan born and bred in West London I always knew a lot about what was happening and with gossip I got a pretty conclusive new story about Chelsea. Ever since I moved to to New York City though, I haven’t had a good handle on the news, so I went searching on my IPhone for a good podcast. I already have subscribed to the The Athletic’s sports news for NFL and the Premier League so I thought I should try one of their podcasts. After searching for a while I found this gem of a podcast on Apple Podcasts/News and it is very informative and tidy, I also love this podcast because of the direct update of episodes right after CFCW and CFCM games so I always have something to listen to. Also if you like this podcast you should try The Athletic’s “Athletic’s Football” podcast for informative and exciting news from professionals.

I listen to a couple Chelsea podcast. This is my favorite. Smart opinions, newsy, and brief. I like that they cover the women’s side too.

Love the lads, even after a loss I always enjoy hearing the viewpoints on this podcast.

I look forward to both new episodes each and every week and you’re the reason I subscribed to The Athletic as well (honestly loving it, definitely worth the monthly sub). Don’t listen to Don… do a full episode of trivia next midweek session

When Liam Twomley still found some way to harshly criticize Nicholas Jackson even after Jackson scored a hat trick - Liam made a big deal about Jackson’s supposedly “atrocious runs” - I turned off this podcast for good. It had officially reached a “jumping the shark” moment. It’s just not a credible podcast anymore.

Gossipy and smug commentary. None of the hosts seem to support the club and are more interested in peddling drama. London is Blue Podcast is a far better listen imho. Will say it’s unfortunate because the Athletic produces some great pods.

The host and commentators are tremendously insightful and articulate. These are no average sports writers. They speak with real substance and care about all things Chelsea.

I really enjoy this podcast even when watching Chelsea isn’t as enjoyable right now lol. I love the insight the contributors give, and impressed with the memories they have of moments in Chelsea history.

Highlight of my week, even the ads aren’t annoying!

It’s just too obvious that whenever the club wants to peddle some narrative, every single one’s of the guest just parrot it over and over with zero critical analysis, regardless of how obviously crazy the message is. It’s obvious that they need to remain on good terms with the club, if you want to host a Chelsea FC podcast. But there should be a balance between access and journalistic integrity. Right now the line is massively skewed in one direction.

Really looked forward to listening to the pod twice a week.. gutted well be losing Sam and Jesse’s insight.. hope the change isn’t permanent.

I will truly miss Jessy and Sam on the show. I hope more CFC fans find this podcast so it can continue its insightful, and in-depth, coverage of everything Chelsea!

An insightful and terrific podcast with great humor from the host, correspondents, and guests. It’s a fun listen when Chelsea win and great therapy when they don’t. Kudos to Lucy the producer for making it all come together. And Matt is a great Alex Trebek.

Not aware of a more thoughtful or insightful show about Chelsea. Has been an indispensable compliment to the Athletic’s excellent coverage of the team, especially during a very trying season. They also do a great job of providing updates on the youth and women’s teams, which are otherwise impossible to find coverage of here in the US.

Expert analysis and insider reporting. Not explicitly a fan podcast but better for that.

Straight out of Cobham is truly the best Chelsea FC podcast out there. It’s not hosted by regular supporters or Chelsea fans but rather professional journalist who work for the athletic and cover Chelsea as their profession.They provide great match reviews, insight, and breaking news found nowhere else. It’s a must listen for any Chelsea supporter.

This pod serves as a vehicle to sells eyeballs to the articles. Not very insightful info or analysis discussed.

This is a great podcast with great insight on the squad! Keep the blue flag flying high!

Listen this podcast for its more journalistic approach to covering Chelsea (I’m also a big fan of some of the other Chelsea “fancasts”). Matt is a great host and Liam, Simon, Dom & Sam all bring different perspectives when they’re on the show. Sam’s perspective as a former academy player has been really fun to hear this year, and getting two shows a week has been awesome. The guys’ Chelsea coverage on the Athletic is also great, go check it out if you can’t get enough all things Chelsea!
