I listened to you all several years ago and you never failed to make me die laughing. I keep checking back a couple times a year to see if you have anything new!

A couple of very dumb unfunny millennials. Stick to your own lane with the music and find a different hobby because podcasting isn’t it.

My hubbs and I are relistening to each season and are beggggging for new episodes, or a new show with you two! It’s your fault that we die laughing while yelling “Bruce Dern scene” multiple times a day. Hilarious show, awesome hosts.

Just the type of review title these guys would razz me for. This show is so fun/clever/mischievous/witty. The hosts have a relaxed back and forth that makes you want to hang out with them. I’ve only listened to episodes where I’ve actually SEEN the Feature Presentation so there’s some I haven’t gotten to yet but will absolutely get through them all.

Excellent listening. You two are seriously hilarious, witty, and have great chemistry. Thank you for this podcast. More! More!

Hilarious. Amazing. Possibly the best podcast ever.

Totally hilarious even if I’ve never seen the movie. I’ve actually went and tuned in to some of them just so I can come back and laugh along with the episode (f**k carol baskin!) My only issue is I wish they would go back to critiquing “professional” critics’ reviews in the Feature Presentation. Those critics deserve a good dose of citizen critic! Come back soon!!!

Bad imitations of Schwarzenegger and Jackie Mason will not make up for slamming mothers and people who are not as hip as you all think you are. I have no patience for humor that has as its only tentpoles negativity, condescension and cruelty. It is way too easy to make fun of others. I will try one more episode to be fair....I am at the dentist anyway....

This show is a great way to take a break from real life. The guys have terrific chemistry and are hilarious. I laughed out loud at every episode. I do have a suggestion though. They should review their reviewers once in a while. Love this show! Hope they are back soon!

The concept is great, the personalities are engaging, and the humor is spot on.

For the people that don’t understand, this podcast reviews the reviews and critiques the critics. Not necessarily the movies/products themselves. If you don’t understand that concept then you shouldn’t be listening or leaving bad reviews. I’ve been listening since day one when Jake of DISGRACELAND said he was producing. I can’t wait for every Monday when a new episode comes out and I put it on as soon as possible. Greg and Scott have great chemistry together which makes for relaxed and hilarious episodes. Their banter on and in between segments is some of the funniest conversations I’ve heard on a podcast. All in all this is a great podcast if you get the concept and enjoy reading hilariously bad reviews. Keep it up guys!

I was referred to this podcast specifically for the MCU eps from a fellow MCU fan. Nothing about this was funny - unless maybe you’re a drunk 20 year old frat boy. They don’t actually review the film. In fact, the majority of the time they aren’t even discussing the film. Plus all the profanity. I couldn’t delete these eps and this podcast fast enough.

Gonna keep it short and sweet but a bit sour (maybe extra sour 🤷🏻‍♂️). I tried. Every episode until now. I don’t believe I ever laughed though. These guys are supposed to be funny right?

DISGRACELAND brought me here. I love this podcast!!! I am one of those weirdos that goes to sleep at night with earbuds in. Trying to not bust out laughing when my husband is sleeping beside me is oh so difficult! These guys have a great chemistry and I just love them! Thank you!!!

Black voices have been unheard for too long. Thanks you for speaking out for what you believe in. Hopefully it helps more people to lend their voices too. It’s a little intimidating to leave a review for a show ‘critiquing the critics.’ However, this show is a delight from the very first episode. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I have listened to episodes multiple times just to laugh along with the hosts. Keep it up y’all!

Love the format and hearing asinine citizen reviews is my absolute favorite. In the season 1 finale when you read the woman lost her sunglasses in the Central Park Ramble I spit out my coffee from laughing. The Ramble has a colorful (and also dark) reputation as the place to go for hooking up. It's worth going down a rabbit hole if you're not familiar with its history and cultural significance. Whenever I see a new episode pop up on my feed I instantly smile because I know my mood is about to lift. The hilarious (but educated) banter makes me feel like I'm just hanging out with friends in the living room after watching a movie. Looking forward to season 2. Overall rating 1 star! because you haven't reviewe the artistically complex film "Weekend At Bernie's 2" 😆

Greg and Scott’s banter as they review the reviewers is hilarious. I just listened while running and had to stop several times because I was laughing so hard. I’m sure I looked like a crazy person trying to run while laughing. Even if you haven’t seen the movie that is the “feature presentation” every episode is a great listen.

Great concept, hilarious. Minus three points, however, because listening in the car is not possible - I’m often laughing so hard that I cry.

I’m listening to Citizen Critics. Laugh out loud funny and absurd.

I added this to my lists because of Jake Brennan and his production company Double Elvis Media. Jake is one of my favorites and I will listen to what he suggests. This podcast started out for me a bit slow and wasn’t sure if I would end up liking it. It’s taken me awhile to warm up to these guys. The podcast reviewing The Tiger King sealed it for me. These guys are funny and interesting. I decided it was time to give a review. Thanks for brightening my day. Keep up the great work. It’s nice to hear something other than COVID-19 crisis.

This is a re-listenable podcast that has me laughing out loud for minutes on end every episode. Funniest new podcast I have found in awhile.

I don’t write reviews. I would like to let everyone know, however, that I laughed so hard during the Return of the Jedi episode whilst brushing my teeth that my bathroom is now covered in a not-unthick coating of toothpaste. That is all!

I love listening to podcasts and have been searching for some new core favorites to add to the rotation - this one definitely is one at the top! Hilarious, witty, and I’ve laughed out loud listening to some of their hot takes. Keep the episodes coming!

I really love this podcast and can’t wait for new episodes each week. Scott and Greg absolutely crack me up every week. I honestly find myself laughing out loud in public and I don’t care. Brilliant show. This is a must listen if you enjoy “ball busting” and good natured ribbing.

The best part about Scott and Greg is that you can tell how much fun they’re genuinely having during these episodes. The laughs are real, the insults are hilarious, and I truly hope these guys get the recognition they deserve. My only complaint is that the episodes aren’t 3+ hour James Cameron epics, and that they only do one per week. Keep up the good work everyone involved with citizen critic! You’re making the world a better place (not an exaggeration).

We should definitely rate things using tropes such as "this slow burn eventually catches fire" and "give it a chance it is not just two guys laughing at each other". By the end of EZP1 my tummy hurt from laughing, and the non-sequitur segments are tied together by this unique theme, which rings true: "There's nothing left to critique but criticism itself". In short: WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Love the guys’ sense of humor and always guaranteed to have me laughing aloud. My favorite segment so far was The Stanley Hotel reviews. I’m starting to re-listen to episodes while I wait for a new weekly one because I can’t get enough of it. Please keep them coming, can’t wait for more!

I have never reviewed a podcast before but I just had to with these guys. I listen to podcasts while I work and I legit had to stop what I was doing and regroup because I was laughing so hard. The concept of roasting internet morons that leave ridiculous reviews is brilliant and I will listen as long as they produce material!

It’s not that they are necessarily that funny, but they seem to be having so much fun and their laughs are extremely infectious Definitely fun!

But I won’t subscribe.

Way too bouncy, off topic and talking/laughing over each other. One would say a joke, the other doesn’t acknowledge then says something else, first guy will keep talking about joke, second will keep talking about other thing. Not a listenable conversation.

Yes!!! Laughed out loud in the Walmart parking lot listening to the show and got some strange looks… I only wish I had found this in the future after they had posted 175 episodes so I could binge! These guys are bloody funny.

Why are you producing milquetoast podcasts like this? These dudes are enthusiastic and have decent chemistry... but the knowledge base is lacking and the perspective is a bit narrow. I’ll probably come back later when they get in a groove, but this is a PASS for now TLDR; not my cup of tea just yet, has potential but watch MORE movies and do some deep dives on the material.

I recently wanted to start a podcast with the exact same criteria as Citizen Critic. I decided to do some research to find out if the lane was already taken and to my DELIGHT it was. While I would have had a lot of fun making a podcast on this topic these two hosts are so funny that I can't even get upset about the missed opportunity. This is my new go-to podcast :) My main hope is that they eventually spend an episode roasting all of the bad reviews of their podcast. Love the show and can’t wait for THAT episode.

If you can get past all the stupid giggling, and laughing about literally everything. It’s a 3/5. Maybe 2/5. Didn’t make it past episode 1.
