    Novel...
Listened to “the people of music” and subscribed. Too bad this kind of future doesn’t seem too imaginary

    Biased. Bashing.
Just listening to the intro of this podcast through others the host says a derogatory comment about the president. You can surely state facts without a tacky and biased opinion. Won’t give this any more attention.

    Way too on-the-nose
I know it’s supposed to be topical on current news events, but the stories are soooo on the nose. It waffles between preaching and wish fulfillment. I wish the stories were a little more subtle.

    Super pandemic medicine
What New Yorker did for short fiction in the 40’s. Hardly ever soothing; always riveting.

Wonderful extension of a wonderful creative concept
Early reader when Chronicles of Now first launched. And now a delightful podcast. I’m going to say this again: I cannot recommend this podcast more highly. Quick bursts of reality inspired fiction and brief interviews with the authors to bring context and depth. Simply and wonderfully produced.

    an amazing read and listen
Chronicles of Now is one of the few things giving me any semblance of comfort amid the madness of news and uncertainty of the pandemic we're living through. Bravo to the folks behind it.

    A joy in not-so-joyful times
I’m a little biased because I help make the Chronicles of Now site... but I really feel like these pieces are a balm—even more so when illuminated further by Ashley C. Ford’s delightful interviews.

5 Stars for The Ponz (Michael Cohen)
This was a fabulously-written Short Story and I felt compelled to share it amongst friends and fellow writers. Thank you.

    Loved this!
Feel like it’s increasingly getting unhealthy to consume the news? This may be the only way to do it. Part Inside the (Author’s) Studio, part snack-sized audiobook, it’s all art and is the only thing that makes this stranger-than-fiction reality we’re in maybe make sense.

    Brilliant Idea
If you’re overwhelmed by the news but still want to understand the times, this podcast is incredible.

    Timely and thought-provoking.
I may be biased as a Jess Walters fan but I found The Ponz to be satire at its best! A must listen!! I’ve been a regular reader of Chronicles of Now since it launched. It’s my Saturday morning ritual that has made for interesting social distance conversation. Glad to see the brand extend its content to audio!

    My new favorite podcast
I’m a big fan of the host, Ashley Ford (and Jess Walter)! I need more fiction in my life, and I love that this podcast brings fiction to life with news and what’s happening now. I can’t wait for more!
