    Hello Park Enthusiasts
So excited that my seasonal fave is now a WEEKLY must listen! Delia sets the standard for investigate journalism and brings that fervor to little known wilderness cases and stories from around the world. Always engaging. Always focused on the survivors and victims. Add this to your rotation.

    Like bus don’t speculate
If there is no information- don’t say he fired the gun at (something) and his story SEEMS to go with the victim’s account so it’s more probably true. They were in the dark in this episode. The cops decided to believe him bc of a plea deal- not bc of ANY ounce of “oh you’re a murderer, your account is probably right- especially bc you’re testifying against your own family”. Please stop speculating.

The show needs a better writer
The show is such an interesting subject matter and the stories are interesting as well. The writing is so bad that I can’t believe some of the shows are published. There’s a lot of stating the obvious, use of the saying “quote-end quote”, fumbling of words, and mispronunciation. My wife and I listen for a laugh as much as we do for an interesting story.

    Amazing podcast!
This is one of the best true crime podcasts I’ve listened to, along with crime junkie, and I love how it dives deep into these cases! I hope everyone who has passed has found peace.

Can we stop talking like a Robot?

    Delia is the BEST
Delia, your calm voice is my favorite podcast voice by far, and your deep respect for victims is conveyed in every single episode, along with the obvious diligence of your research. I am often brought to tears during your concluding remarks. Girl, you do true crime RIGHT.💗

variety of cases, all respectfully told
Delia is always respectful and tactful and never sensationalizes or uses shock value in her stories. I also appreciate her dedication to the facts and her responsibility to the victims and their surviving family.

    Stop the spoilers
Just wanted to say that I like the show but please stop giving away key details in your vocal intro and in the written description of the show! I don’t listen to your intro or read too much of the description of each episode because it ruins the story. I’ve skipped listening to episodes many times because of spoilers. I want to listen to hear the story unfold, not be told essentially “the butler did it” right off the top. One show says something like “who knew the killer would have the face of a teenager “. Thanks for taking all of the suspense out of the story as I now know all of the red herrings and initial suspects who couldn’t have done it. Please stop with the details and not-so-subtle allusions that spoil the story.

    Good podcast but one thing…
Delia is informative and thorough- overall I listen to this podcast all the time. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because of one word. Delia, if you read this, please google and listen to how affluent is pronounced. Your podcast is great, I just need that one word pronounced correctly- I get chills in my body when it’s incorrectly said. Overall- really good podcast but fix that one thing and its five stars from me :)

    Used to love it
I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, a lot! And I used to love Park Predators, but for some reason Dalia has begun repeating phrases trying to sound like a professional journalist, but it’s doing just the opposite. For instance the over-use of “QUOTE” and “END QUOTE” has become intolerable. I cannot think of one other podcast that says this. It’s especially grating when the quote is only about four words long and of nothing significant, like the family says, QUOTE ….We really miss her…END QUOTE. Plus I feel that she’s telling us a lot of the information that she doesn’t have. She’s always saying “It’s not clear“ or there’s just not enough information, or I couldn’t find anything regarding this. Just tell what you know and leave the information you don’t know mute.

4+ multi commercial breaks in a 37 minute podcast
Truly over your constant commercials, does the greed have a limit?

    Awesome podcast
Love everything but I do have an issue with this podcast and Counter Clock, wonderful podcast Delia hosts. It’s the voice quality, what on earth is happening here? If you listen to the first few seasons of CC her voice was so rich and warm. I wanna say towards the last few seasons of CC and now PP it’s tinny and low quality. Reminds me of the old AOL days. Remember the songs on the CD were rich and clear vs those AOL previews that sounded tinny, staticy? Sometimes I can’t even listen to the episodes because of the sound quality being so low quality and sharp. My guess is the mic is failing (happened to me) or maybe the editors are over enhancing her voice and are losing richness. Also it could be audio export quality and bitrate to possibly save on storage? (I hope that’s not the case because it produces a weaker end product. None of the other 10-15 podcasts I listen to have this strange voice quality issue) I hope y’all read this cause if it gets fixed I’d be over the moon happy. Love the team keep up the great work!!!

    Source material
I love love love this pod but you need a synonyms term for the term “according to” and “the source material”. It’s said very repetitively.
  • SwiftNYC
PLEASE stop saying “the source material!”
I enjoy Delia’s stories, but for the love of audio journalism, please please please stop using the phrase “the source material!” In the newest episode, “The Picnic,” I counted at least eight, possibly 10, uses of the phrase. And that’s just ONE EPISODE. I wasn’t trying to count; the usages just jumped out at me. It’s distracting and offputting and you don’t need to say it, Delia. It’s literally the only reason I’m giving this interesting show three stars instead of four or five.

    Love, but…
1/31 Update: New episodes have declined in quality of reporting and storytelling. Delia used to be so great, but she has too influenced by Ashley and the woke agenda. It’s time to part ways. I love Delia’s reporting but I wish she wouldn’t use phrases like “super clear.” It sounds juvenile. I love Park Predators but I hate hearing Ashley’s obnoxious, egotistical voice.

    Great music
I don’t know why people are saying that the music belongs in a western movie it fits the vibe perfectly
  • jilljillg
    Good show, change music
Love the show. Came to this show through Crime show, also produced by Audiochuck. We used to listen during our yearly National Park vacation but now this is a weekly show. One complaint is the intro and reintro music. It was a great whistle. The change in music is not an improvement. Keep up the great work Delia.

    My favorite podcast!
I love Park Predators! Delia’s voice draws you right in. Great stories and thorough investigation.
  • Quote Unquote1
    Quote End quote
This is a great podcast, however, it reminds me of another podcast called Killer Instinct, where the host used the exact phrases of her subject that she excessively says Quote Unquote. She finally fixed that nuance by paraphrasing . Other than that, the host does a good job with her show.
  • Shrilly68
    Meh
I think the storyline assemblages are getting a little lazy bb, some of the best stories told in a really hard to follow round about way. And then this happens and then this happened. Not great
  • WIBadgerGirl
    Please quit referencing source material
I like the content and the way it seems to be well-researched, but the constant referencing of “source material” is too much. It takes away from the flow. I listen to so many podcasts that never do this and wish for the same here. I used to really like this podcast, but it’s getting harder and harder to enjoy.
  • AssociatingbyPinner***yuk
    Generally,
…a good collection of events & history in national parks. Some are crimes, some are mysteries & oddities. Please check pronunciations prior to recording. As one born & raised in Oklahoman, I have problems understanding locations based on pronunciations. It’s distracting & maddening - listen, rewind, listen, search for possibles, & repeat. Ouachita sounds like /washi•tah/ Poteau sounds like /pō•tō/
  • suzyqz1969
    Change the theme music
Love the podcast and the host is one of my favorites. My only criticism is the theme music. I liked season one music better. This season’s theme music sounds like it belongs to a western movie.
  • sastrauss
    audiochuck is cheap
delia is great. stories are well-written and interesting. that said, half of the 30 min episodes are ads, and it’s SUCH a turnoff. audiochuck/ashley - how money hungry are you? shame.
  • BaeBae106
    Exceptionally well done
Outstanding journalist! DD is a cut above. All episodes are meticulously researched and thoughtfully presented. You’ll get hooked on true crime done right
  • overitliterallyyyyyy
    The narration is just bad
I like that these stories are being told, but it just sounds like she’s reading off a much too wordy script. It’s actually very difficult to get into this podcast cause the narration is so bad.
  • 4321986437
    Please check pronunciations
I usually enjoy this podcast, but the pronunciations of places drove me crazy. Please look into how the locals pronounce locations. It’s so distracting.
  • Desertflower480
    Awesome
Love the show, have listened to almost every episode. I do feel like some episodes need to be a bit more detailed but considering that a lot of these cases are over 20 years old. I understand there is only so much you can retrieve.
  • Jingalls73
    Love the Show
Love listening to Delia. I just have one issue… I am in the medical field and a buccal swab is pronounced with a long “u” sound, not pronounced “buckle.”
  • DanteTaylor
Ready Set let the adventure begin
Wonderful narration that is both somber and respectful, with a hint of urgency and excitement. Great show
  • kswizzbeats
    Terrible host
So unprofessional. Describing a missing child’s belongings as being found “like literally around the corner from the campsite” is gross.
  • GeoffreySterling
    Minimal
Pretty lazy podcast. Minimal production. Host just reads a prepared script.

Was considering listening until I read all the reviews about how she loves to insert her leftist rhetoric. Trump won.
  • SilverDollar007
    STOP THE BACKGROUND MUSIC!!!
Updated: I gave this podcast another try. What a waste! STOP THE BACKGROUND MUSIC! I could stomach the horrible English grammar and the political slant, but that background music was the final straw. Just unfollowed… Season 1 was really good but this season has deteriorated and is no longer worth my time. Delia calls herself a “journalist” but good journalists report the story and don’t insert their personal opinions. Her leftist commentary is now blatant and unwelcome. The only Audiochuck podcast I still follow is Anatomy of Murder. At least those hosts have real world experience. The rest of Ashley Flowers’ podcasts are amateurish. I unfollowed Crime Junkie ages ago. Way too many better podcasts out there.

    Outer banks?
The Philly-est NC accent I’ve ever heard… had me missing the city that bombed itself. Good podcast.
  • Just me:)
    Love it!
I’m only on season 3 and it’s my new life! It’s so interesting to listen to the true crime cases and see (or hear) just exactly what limits people will go to and occasionally pass when it comes to getting what they want or just feel the instinct to survive or kill. It shows that human nature sometimes gets the best of us as the predator and some of us, prey

    Must Listen
This is fastly becoming my favorite podcast. I love that it takes us to all these beautiful and sometimes historical parks, but reminds us to be attentive and aware no matter where you go. Something could be lurking in the most pristine of places. Love Delia’s narrating style.
  • Tarbysmom
    Great stories ...
I like the material but Delia's grammar leaves a lot to be desired and it can be offputting. And I don't know any other podcaster who says "it's not clear from the source material but ...." as much as she does. I think I better just not listen to her anymore and then I won't be bothered!

    Love the concept
I love the idea of taking cases that happened at different parks/forests. My husband and I visit a lot of the places covered in cases and it’s definitely sobering knowing some of these places have such dark events take place.
  • aidan weir
    relatively entertaining
Decently entertaining. The host does way too much speculating. “I imagine” is a qualifier she loves to use, which doesn’t exactly encourage the listener as to the accuracy of her research.
  • momof2boys9
New slang is a no no.
I enjoy this podcast but I don’t want to hear new lingo like sus instead of suspicious. I know it’s stupid to be annoyed about, but I don’t think middle and high school slang needs to be included in EVERYTHING. They’ll be okay hearing real words.

    Don't be a ....
Twinklr14 I would like to respond to your mean hearted comment. I can tell you are the type of person who likes to Complain. If you aren't a park enthusiast then why are you here? This show is from the same people who produce Crime Junkie. It's not an attempt to copy it. If you don't like Delia's voice, then why are you listening? I enjoy Park Predators. And I am a Park Enthusiast. I'm in a state park right now Lol. I also enjoy true crime (one can like both 😱) I like how Park predators is both informative and murdery! Much love ♥️
