Ponca boyWRUAre you coming back, enjoy the show and looking forward to more
-
gypsyoceanGood story tellingI like the podcast, I’ve been flying through episodes. She’s a good story teller and delivers the information in the same format as crime junkies. I have progressed to other styles of true crime stories in the last few years like Dark Topic but I do enjoy the content. I definitely am starting to feel like you can get away with murder in Parks 🤦🏽♀️ terrifying
-
Brim!kaBest Crime PodcastI love this podcast because it is respectful to the victims while also being informative of the crimes. I work overnight and binge them. Always catch myself waiting for new episodes!! Can’t wait

KaeighhLove the content but …….This specific hosts voice is not pleasurable. Maybe because I’m used to Ashley Flowers. But I can’t take this hosts voice it is the opposite of soothing and makes it hard to listen.
-
LuvTCinMICan’t get enoughMore please!!

NullityGrammarAlways remember “either or, neither nor”. Regarding the episode, entitled “the husband”.

Stub_sLoveeeeeAbsolutely love this podcast! Hope there’s many more to come!

CmancroniDelia is a Role ModelWow - I cannot give enough praise to host Delia D’Ambra. Not only is she a powerhouse journalist which is worthy of praise, but she is excellent at delivering these stories clearly and respectfully. I love our national parks and hiking in general. So while I love true crime, I also love the lessons we can learn about safety in the wild from these stories. Keep them coming, I’ll be listening.
-
Evil_DaisyJust read Wikipedia insteadEh. These would be better if the host actually talks to experts or witnesses. Instead she basically recites what you can find on Wikipedia or any news article. No deep-dives here. She also tries to make the stories have cliffhangers by adding unnecessary hyperbole.
-
Fati NunesGreat stories but can’t focus with the lispGreat stories but the narrators lisp makes it so difficult to enjoy the episodes.
-
EnfalmoLOVE ITAlotnppl disappear in State Parks.. I love that this podcast shines a light into the darkness pf our national parks.. Great repprting
-
KaylaReneeQLove this podcastI absolutely love Delia! (And the Audiochuck team i.e. Ashley, Brit, Chuck, etc.) They go above and beyond advocating for these victims and their families. I have been a fan for years and will be a lifelong fan! Thank you all for all the good you do.

-
PinkBunnaAmazingBinge worthy, will keep you interested and waiting for the next episode
-
😒sassy queen😒Please talk like a human!I love this show, but I’m having trouble focusing on the show because, no offense to Delia, the host is so monotone. It’s a simple request. Talk with more emotion, please!
-
Foo hopperGood show bad writingI like listening to this show however, whoever is scripting this show needs to polish their work. It sounds like it is written by a teenager, full of hyperbole and language that just doesn't make sense. “My mind made me think”? Who says that stuff?
-
buttercuploserNot the worst but not my favoriteNarrators voice is extremely monotone. Which makes me pay more attention to the lisp. The Quote and Unquote get annoying.
-
Itsjustbeth00A favorite of mineThis is easily one of my favorite true crime podcasts! The cases chosen are always covered so thoroughly and are such tragic but compelling stories.
-
doctor of radioGreat but not amazing5 star production with the background music and sound effects. The stories are near top notch with great story telling and plenty of background with more of a victim focused narrative. Sometimes it does get a little to PC with the information/facts and possibly just a smidge conspiratorial. I will agree with some listeners tho - the narrator at points - not often but does put you to sleep. I love parks and I love crime junkie stuff. If this is your cup of tea you will certainly enjoy it.
-
IFForeverFantastic!I look forward to season 3, please!!! This is my favorite host and favorite podcast. Thank you for the many hours of entertainment. You are amazing.
-
RadiantjillCrime Junkies! This is a winner! The narrative is excellent as it tells the case in subsequent order as detectives are unraveling the mystery, and it’s not misleading. The only thing I might change is not telling the listener where the case is currently because I like to find out at the end. Some crime dramas start with several minutes talking about the narrators life. I didn’t come to hear how the narrator’s house is coming along or news they got a cat. If you’re like me you’ll love these stories because no time is waisted chit chatting about something you’re not interested in. I do like hearing a little about the narrator as it relates to the story, as we’re unpacking the facts. This is done perfectly. The previous comment talked about the narrators lisp. Ha! I didn’t even notice. Listening to her again I thought it was her accent, kind of endearing. Thank you for delivering such an excellent pod cast . Jill - Tahoe, CA 🌲⛰️

tkwesley23Would love to hear the stories but..It’s so hard to listen to the host. That lisp is extremely distracting. Auto-tone voice makes it hard to pay attention. Please leave your political views out of the context. Frustrating, I don’t think I can listen anymore due to those reasons.
-
LesWSmThe Best!It is my favorite true crime and I love the lisp. I cannot wait until summer to hear new ones!
-
Just another listenrGood stories but…The stories are enjoyable but the narrator is hard to get use to. I keep trying to come back and restart it but it seems to be missing something that keeps some listeners interested. Give it a try though!!
-
Hello kitty 1972Monotone lulls me to sleep 💤No doubt Delia does thorough research into these cases, however-I cannot stay focused on the episode due to no variation in Delia’s cadence or tone. It’s so distracting.
-
Princessninakins311Not badI listen when no other podcasts are left to listen to. The lisp kills me. It’s not bad though, kind of boring
-
ShelbyHootieWhy…In the “Friends” am I told that the Black man appeared to be shot twice while the woman was half in the water and half out. If the race of the people is important, why only share the Black person and not the other person? Does it have any bearing?
-
Lily9087Disappointed!!!!!!!!!In your latest episode you made it a point to say the victim was a black man who had been shot but did NOT reference the race of the woman who was mentioned immediately after….SMH! Not surprising
-
chaddykSolid PodGood presentation, narrator sticks to the facts and has a perfectly fine voice for narration (if it gets to ya just listen to a few eps and you'll get used to it…only mentioned because of the couple reviewers who hate it)…I listen going to sleep or on long drives, equally suitable for both. If you like hiking, the show gives a good perspective on the dangers out there other than the assumed perils of wildlife and environment, something I’ve never really taken into account prior to the show. It’ll hit your True Crime fix. This all comes from a LPOTL listener, so even someone with a seemingly VERY different taste in True Crime pod presentation digs what this show has to offer. If I had had HAD to say a negative thing, it’d literally only be a weird pet peeve I have when the narrator seems baffled when the police ID a victim whose body is fully intact as if it’s the most impressive bit of police work ever had and feels the need to mention how “she doesn’t know how they ID’d the body so quickly but…” which is an incredibly stupid pet peeve to have but I can’t help but shake my head every time she does it, I skip around a lot though so maybe in the more recent episodes she stopped 😅 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

AkminerExcellentAbsolutely a topnotch podcast! Thank you for the effort you put into this. Everything about this production appeals to me. There are valid suggestions in the reviews, and a reworking of the show to a two host delivery might add some appeal for other listeners; as well as pregnant pauses. I’m not surprised at the two reviews by MAGA listeners who feel their political views need to filter over into their murder podcasts, in order for them to feel validated! Hilarious! I enjoy the comedy of posts like that. I agree with the pushback you have received about pointing out race when it’s not caucasian. Is it really necessary? Likely not. Having someone review and make grammatical changes to your copy is a great idea and will tone down the folksy small town feel. It’s just time to knock off a few rough spots and polish this show into the gem it is meant to be.Reading and filtering listener criticism, requires a tough hide, please don’t let our words spoil any joy you get from doing this show. Fly high dear!
-
FinallyAlexI’ll never stop listening! One of my favorites podcasts! I always find myself checking to see if a new episode has been released.
-
FaroukSI1975Audiochuck does it again!Delia is a great story teller. She goes the extra mile in her research to bring us the whole story. Strongly recommend.
-
Enna EelGood content, poor deliverySerious improvements need to be made in the delivery of these stories. For one, “that” is a filler word and so unnecessary in proper English. This should have been taught in middle school English class. It is incredibly painful and cringeworthy to hear every other word. I don’t know if I can continue listening, even out of desperate boredom.
-
CarrieLilBits85DullI only barely got thru one episode. She repeats herself often and honestly I just can’t stand her voice.
-
mezzopoetExcellentWell-researched and presented, and the host has a wonderful voice.
-
BridgetMVPToo Many UnsolvedI’ve enjoyed the podcast, but it seems this season most of the stories remain unsolved. Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like a waste of time spending a half- hour listening to news reports and witness statements without any resolution. I understand that not all crimes are solved. I just don’t know why you’ve chosen so many unsolved to include in the podcast.
-
Joeiqui77Hooked 🙃Just started listening to this Podcast and I can’t get enough of it. I love how it is all over the world not just America. Best part is the the sound effects 😳 it makes you feel like you are truly there ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-
mpavlasGood investigative reporting but may have to stop listeningI really enjoy the stories but I’ve about reached my limit of the endless quote/end quotes, cheesy sound effects and attempts at being sassy. A lot of that seems new, as if there had been feedback on the podcast about being too stiff or something. I think she is a talented reporter and I don’t like being too negative but something has changed and it’s unfortunately getting unbearable.
-
asianone13Obsessed!!! Highly recommendI love listening to this podcast and I have been a loyal listener since 2020. I found this podcast through the recommendation of Crime Junkie. I know it’s a seasonal podcast but I love adding it in for my summertime podcasts
-
tiffcrownInteresting cases told not so wellHard to follow. Lacking facts. Terrible grammar.
-
mistirgawhLove this podcast!Just found this podcast and already love it. The hosts voice is so hypnotic. I could listen to her all day. Love these true crime stories. Great job!
-
jdjsjsjkskaProbably the worse true crime podcast everI’ve listened to many episodes before coming to the conclusion that Delia just seems to be another wanna be Crime Junkie, only she seems to only care about monetizing the horrible deaths of others and does nothing other than read from a couple of articles, not attempting to uncover what really happened for the remaining family or anything close to it. She talks in just a monotone voice like she has almost no care for the victims she’s talking about. The way she talks about victims that have been SA’d is beyond unsettling to me and why I think it’s so normalized now. It’s not normal, so stop talking about it like it is. I wanted to like this podcast so badly since Crime Junkie has been advertising it. But if this is the road true crime podcasts are going down… you should really start thinking if you’re really the good guys for putting out such content. Shame.
-
5280TCan’t Get EnoughHer voice is confident yet calming, she inserts personal opinions at tactful moments and she has experience with the wilderness. So well done, please keep them coming. I’m starting to like this more than Crime Junkie. Thanks!
