One of my favorite podcasts if not my favorite. I listen to everyone and I learn so much. The last 5 or 6 episodes have been amazing! Keep it up Bakari. Some of my favorite episodes Dr. Harry Edwards, Ambassador Andrew Young, Dr. Ebony Hilton-Buchholz, Michael Cohen just to name a few.

Let me start by saying I like this podcast and listen to all episodes but I don’t understand Bakari’s take on Dwayne Haskins. I realize this pod is focused on black culture, politics, sports and what not but does that mean defend all famous black people no matter what they did or who to blame? I’m not a huge booger fan either but he knows more about black athletes then we do. Maybe booger should or could help young black athletes adjust to becoming professional athletes and not get distracted. Let’s not attack the messenger for stating facts.

I continue to learn so much from Bakari and his fantastic guests. Honest, diverse and informative with humor and sports bits sprinkled in. For someone that doesn’t live and breathe politics this is the perfect pod to stay informed and learn.

Bakari’s interview style and caliber of guests really allows listeners to walk away with a higher level of information after each podcast.

I continue to learn so much from the podcast. It is extremely informative on many topics particularly on how politics shapes the lives of Black, Brown, and Underserved Americans. Bakari - Thank you for doing the work to keep all of us informed.

Some episodes are great, truly. The episodes I find particularly when he has guest on focusing on addressing economic issues in marginalized communities. However, it feels Bakari’s views can be a bit contradictory when he wants to be progressive in one area but remembers he has to pander to his centrist bosses over at CNN. Also, I get he is friends with Kamala and this is less so about her, but giving a platform to the utterly ridiculous KHive was a questionable choice. Any bit of research into the vitriol the “KHive” spews on social media should be disqualifying but, hey, she’s his friend. I support Kamala but I do not support the elevation of hateful people on social media like @notcapnamerica

Love the podcast and Bakari is exactly the voice needed right now. However, what was he and The Ringer doing having the joke Michael Cohen on THE WEEK BEFORE THE ELECTION?? Why legitimize this shady con artist? Why allow him to use your platform to profit off his inexcusable support and tenure with Donald Trump? Really disappointed in The Ringer and Bakari on this. Please return to having your typical smart, insightful, and thought provoking guests that actually have a conversation instead of yelling nonsense of 45 minutes.

I just listened to your interview with Michael Cohen. He sounded so logical and smart throughout. Then, at the end, his rant about how he was arrested sounded a bit....unhinged? Maybe it was just his intense anger, but he did not sound like the same man for the previous 40 minutes.

I wait with bated breath for a new issue of your podcast! You point out the underlying issues that are clouded by the constant haze that covers the issues of today! Thank you!

Just listened to the second debate after show with Bakari, Angela and Andrew, and I was blown away! Thank you, Bakari, for sharing with all of us the real Andrew Gillum. I, like a lot of my fellow black males, didn’t really want to hear from that brother after his scandal, but I’ve gotta say that your show revealed to me that that brother has far more depth, intellect, talent, and heart than I ever could have imagined. Props to you for reminding us that during this “cancel culture”, we shouldn’t always cancel folks who still have a lot to offer.

How you and your guest have made something I always viewed as complex (politics), so understandable and relevant, especially for black folks, has been nothing short of impressive! I truly appreciate your conversations!

I am making it a personal goal to learn more about politics at a later age. I have always admired Mr. Sellars from afar. I am glad to be able to listen to these conversations and learn more. I can no longer vote my parents ideas I have to start develop my own

Bakari has a very clear and calming voice as well as great perspectives. He also features many guests who are new to me but offer so much insight into today’s issues.

I was hoping for a Bill Simmons like take on politics. I love the Celtics but I can talk honestly about the NBA sort of thing. This podcast is a local Boston sports talk show telling only about the greatness of the Celtics.

Really turned off by Angela Rye’s analysis of the debate. Suggesting a candidate for President literally assault the actual president is not what serious people say. Bakari, your podcast is supposed to be a serious discussion. Having Angela say things like that serves no purpose. I’m sorry if she’s angry her candidate lost in the primaries. But get the F over it and stop witht that nonsense.

My millennial son suggested that his mom(baby boomer)listen to Bakari Seller’s Podcast...He was right!...I love how he is comfortable with his guest so much that they are comfortable...I’ve turned my gf’s on to him also and our conversations are very interesting since doing so...

Just listened to the interview with Sec. Hillary Clinton, and man—what an interesting conversation! Bakari is an insightful and knowledgeable interviewer, and seems to know exactly how to frame questions to get the most from his guests (which, I must also say, have been so diverse and amazing!)—just all around a candid interview and great episode. Definitely recommend this podcast to anyone looking for a thoughtful conversation about our nation’s politics that’s substantive without being stuffy, and deep without being too dense. Really good stuff, and definitely subscribing!

I have loved Biden for years!!! BUTT ur response to the progressives was extremely condescending !!! Smh get a grip before they stay home and that fool gets re elected!!!!

I think Bakari’s perspective is one we need right now for sure but my man is all” don’t worry progressives” while claiming any critiquing of Biden-Harris from the left is “Russian disinformation”, dedicating any episode to Kamela’s troll/bullying army, and bringing on an ICE War criminal? Very politician-esque will say anything but actions speak louder.

Bakari is very insightful and offers a much needed perspective at the ringer.
