    Loved Loved the Podcast
I’m sad that I came across this podcast after it was off. Definitely loved it and hoping it comes back soon. They have 11 episodes to finish the series.

What a shame it is over
I enjoyed this show, so much that I binged it. I have always loved Mark-Paul; so I watch and look for anything he is in; Daschel I did not know but I grew to a new fandom of him with this show, he’s “fun” for sure. I wish they could and would bring this on back!

    ZTTF Podcast review
Listened to every single episode of this! Was a fan of the show when I was a teenager and a big fan of MP Gosselaar so it was pretty cool to listen to him tell stories about his time filming SBTB episodes, his cast mates, and his opinions on certain things in general. Really rad podcast

A Pod About MPG’s Hair, Boom Mics
Ok, so being a HUGE fan of SBTB I was just thrilled to hear about this pod. I listened to it back when they were doing their weekly Wed release. And I’ve re-listened (is that a word) each podcast about 5 times each. The Pros: Super interesting behind the scenes anecdotes from MPG, BRECKIN MEYER…like seriously Cadence can we just get him to do the rest of the series? Absolutely hilarious! Guest stars such as Leah Remini, various background and guest stars on the series, Dashiell’s commentary, MPG’s making fun of some of the ridiculous plot points of the show (similar to April’s pod). Ed Alonzo episode was fantastic btw, I will never watch his episodes the same way again The cons: ok Mark, enough about your freaking hair, lack of chemistry at times between the hosts, MPG at times being condescending to Dashiell i.e. “bro you gotta shower twice a day” like come on Mark ever heard of the environment? I appreciate a random non SBTB anecdote here or there guys, but come on let’s stay on task so the pod doesn’t end up at 1 hr 20 mins. A 45 min pod is the sweet spot. All this said I would seriously pay good money for you guys to come back.

    Miss this podcast
Really hope you guys come back. Loved it when you brought in the guest actors. Liah was my favorite episode. My only wish would be to keep it yo 45-55 min. But its was great to hear all the background to everything. FYI i never leave comments. But if i can join everyone to bring you back then so be it.

    So much fun
This podcast takes me back to my preteen Saturday mornings and high school afternoon reruns at Bayside. The guests are always entertaining, and Mark-Paul and Dashiell are perfect hosts to walk through each episode—the only problem, they can’t stop with so many episodes left. I want to finish the series with them.

I’ve never left any review for any podcast ever
This is my first review ever! I love podcasts but have not made the time to leave a review, until now. I love this podcast and it’s a great mix of behind the scenes scoop and just ultimately so funny to rewatch these episodes with commentary from the people who were there! It’s perfect and makes me smile. Come back ASAP!!

    It’s awesome
I think it’s a great podcast I listen to it all the time! As a kid watching it Saturday morning was fun, but now as a adult it’s fun to have flashbacks of these episodes. I totally recommend anyone who grew up watching the show must listen to this podcast!

    Slater vs zack
I love this show! I’m not sure why the show stopped but I would love to see it come back. I was always a slater guy I just rooted for him not sure why. But I have enjoyed getting insight into this show I loved and still love.plus Mark Paul is making me like zack more. Also I love dashell he cracks me up FUN. We need a battle royale mark Paul and Mario have a therapy session. I’m a truck driver and one horrible night a few weeks back I was stuck on the side of the road for 6 hours til 5am. I listened to your show and it really helped me get through it thank you both for being there.

    (Not so much)Fun!
Sorry to be that guy, but I have to edit my review. The only reason I had any interest in the reimagining is because of this podcast. You both gave up on the podcast, I have to give up on the show. I didn’t even know it came back until 2 minutes before I started writing this review. It was a fun and nostalgic run. Good luck to you both!

    Abandoned
Started off great, then it just abruptly stopped. No warning, no explanation, no answers for listeners. Will it ever come back? Who knows. Guess we’ll have to wait for Driscoll’s ego to deflate and see.

    it’s really bad
MPG sounds really bored and you get the feeling peacock is paying him to do this. There’s no real passion in his voice. His co-host parrots everything MPG says, and never really disagrees with him, or offers any real opinions. I mean of all the things a Saved By The Bell podcast is, BORING shouldn’t be the main takeaway. Sometimes it’s a watch along, other times it’s not. It just seems like a cash in, rather than anything with heart. Which also explains why it just vanished one day in August. They don’t care about us the listener. They just care about that peacock $$$.

    Wonderful Nostalgic Trek
My looming 20 year high school reunion gives me anxiety, but I LOVE hearing Dashiell and Mark Paul reminisce about one of my favorite nostalgic sitcoms. Can’t wait for this Fall 2021 hiatus to end 💛

    It’s ok.....
I enjoyed listening to this podcast more in the beginning than I do now, but it is still a really nice blast from the past! The only thing I would say is the comparison of the culture in the 90s to the overly sensitive culture today is unnecessary. Fat jokes were funny back then. Picking on nerds was a thing. Doesn’t make it right, but it was more acceptable so I really think the guys should take that approach, rather than pointing out how Saved By The Bell wasn’t appropriate. Neither of these guys would’ve said that back in the 90s. Mark Paul and Dashiell don’t have very big outgoing personalities, so I find there are some awkward, silent, dry moments between the 2. Sometimes I wonder if Mark Paul wants to be there. I do think what works best with this show is watching Saved By The Bell over again. If Mark Paul doesn’t remember anything, neither do you. So doing your own homework makes a big difference! I noticed when I started watching the episodes and then listening to this podcast, if felt much more relatable. Regardless, this is a nice, lighthearted thing to listen to on my commute to work. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

    I love it!
I found this podcast after recently binge watching the series! So getting to listen to this after just watching them all has been SO fun. I’ve always been a SBTB fan, but man I’m obsessed here lately!

    So much potential
From his annoying voice and utter lack of common sense to constantly interjecting leftist dogma such as Indepence Day shouldn't be celebrated, Dashiell absolutely RUINS this podcast. MPG generally comes across as likeable and grounded despite spending the vast majority of his life on screen. He provides good insight into the TV-making process even though he doesn't always remember filming specific SBTB episodes. I also appreciate how much he seems to genuinely like the former co-stars he is forever linked to. However, Dashiell is making me abandon this pod. After 42 episodes, I just can't force myself to tolerate him anymore.

    Nostalgic
Favorite show as a kid so needless to say all the stories are great to listen to. Hurry up and comeback already!! Oh and also you should work on getting Lark Voorhies and Dennis Haskins on the show!
  • Bikerbebop
    Great show, kinda heartless
No mention of Dustin being diagnosed or any special release for his death. Come on guys. Only them pointing out when he would almost laugh on the show. I get that mark had bad blood, but both of your careers wouldn’t be there without him. Sad. Pretty disappointed.

Great show guys love the show

    More please more!
Dashiell is a fantastic cruise director, keeping the ship sailing along, and MPG is giving the behind the scenes tea we all need. Hope the pod keeps going and recaps all the episodes!!
  • sofmsks g
This is just to counter all the right wing reviews.
Love MPG. Love Dashiell. Love that they acknowledge how problematic the nineties were but still manage to keep it light. As a fellow liberal snowflake who doesn’t like racism and sexism, I really enjoy this podcast! But Dashiell, we don’t call women “heavyset”. 😬 10/10 will keep listening.

This is Not Great (Updated 7/13, 7/21, 9/1/2021)
Third update to review: This is still becoming more and more of a chore to listen to. Mark-Paul continually sounds like a pretentious douche, Driscoll - while hitting a home run with Zack Morris is Trash - sounds like a monotonous little brother to Mark-Paul with no real chemistry between the two. The endless irrelevant rabbit holes they fall down are either uninteresting or overly PC. The actual reviews of the episodes consist of what would or wouldn’t fly today with the sensitive culture, the background artists, and whether or not Mark-Paul had good hair or not. And it’s that same way every time for 50 episodes now. On top of that it’s like these two never went to a normal high school, the things they make sound absurd to even be part of the show then were more often than not real scenarios my friends and I got into in those same time periods. It’s like they’re numb to real life in the 90s despite living it. The show is a great novelty for a while but 50 episodes in and it’s just grinding away at my soul at this point. Second update to review: The redundant feel of the show and the hard push of politically correct ideals while also displaying small hints of hypocrisy in those sorts of issues peppered throughout makes this feel like an absolute drag at this point. I’ve powered through every episode to this point and I enjoyed it at first but it feels less “behind the scenes interesting info” and more “random tangent that barely connects to the show and gets repeated every single week.” There doesn’t feel like there’s any actual chemistry between the hosts, and whether intentional or not Mark-Paul increasingly sounds unenthused with the entire project. I’m legitimately reaching the point of throwing in the towel on this. Zack Morris is Trash was brilliant. Zack to the Future is an experiment in Groundhog Day levels of boredom. Update to Review: the longer it goes, the more redundant the show becomes. There’s not quite enough guests to make it interesting, and the ones that are there are often hard to hear well due to the use of zoom and probably lackluster mics. Most episodes become talks about hair. The same few anecdotes are told over and over again. It’s not terrible, but it does have a lot of useless filler that starts to really repeat itself as the show goes forward. Original Review: These two talking about Saved by the Bell gets better with each episode. The behind the scenes info from guests and MPG are intriguing. The anecdotes and stories are fun, the chemistry between the duo is goofy, but works. I’m super entertained by this and I do sincerely hope Dashiell and MPG get through the entirety of the series including the College Years and movie specials. Great job, great fun, great times.
  • BaysideBoy
    Lose the political commentary
I think Mark-Paul needs to take over the hosting duties. Dashiell can’t seem to keep all of his political comments to himself. It’s starting to take away from some of the fun and nostalgia of SBTB. We don’t need the political commentary. We’re here to celebrate pay homage to what is Saved By The Bell.
  • MondoFinAction
    FUN!
It’s a fun take on the “go through every episode of a series chronologically” genre because it has a certain type of humor and they throw in context. Humor is subjective so listen to a few of the middle episodes to see if you like it. I look forward to new episodes because it takes my mind off all the crazy stuff happening in the world.
  • Dan M. Cleveland, O.
    host
Dashiell Driscoll has to be THEE. WORST. HOST. in entertainment history. And this podcast couldve been so much better if it werent a huge PC "woke" mess. But i have to listen anyway, because i love SBTB.
  • Chicago Wolfman
    Enjoy the conversation
I’m surprised by some of the reviews. I find the conversation amusing and, dare I say, fun. Dashiell is pleasant and amusing. Mark Paul is a little abrasive but amiable and seems to remember little of filming but has some interesting insight and stories. I think this is an enjoyable way to spend an hour or so each week.
  • T. Drake
    This show is ok
I am nostalgic for the ridiculousness of this show, but it was done better and earlier, by April Richardson on “Go Bayside!”
