Fun show & energy, skip the politics
UPDATED! 4/16/2024 I enjoy this podcast so much! Amy cracks me up I gotta say. I grew up on this show so all 3 girls are relatable to some degree. I wish they would play sound bits to the big parts of the episodes when they discuss it. It would really just add to the nostalgia to the fans who have been watching for years. I roll my eyes whenever Jennie says something isn’t PC. Give me a break, it’s an older show and not everyone cares about whats “right or wrong” things to say versus then and now. No one likes woke conversations, besides the annoying woke people. Oh! Next season when we get to Dylan and Toni I hope you have on Rebecca gayheart! She was always my fav! Also, to answer your question about when it jumped the shark…for me it was season 7, after Kelly got shot. When Brandon left it was almost unwatchable (sorry!) but I still hung in there. Also putting Tori spellings episodes of her new show in the 90210 episodes is annoying, just fyi. As a huge 90210 fan, I was jazzed to find this show and dive into the nostalgia of it, as well as an excuse to watch the series again for the hundredth time. Many pros, few cons so hopefully they openly listen to constructive feedback. PROS: Amy is hilarious! I love laughing along with her questions and hearing her geek out in the same way I do. She’s super fun, relatable and really adds a fan element to the show, great chemistry with the ladies. I love their random guest stars…Dean Cain was great, keep ‘em coming! I’m one of the rare ones who loved Dylan with both Brenda and Kelly so I love hearing everyone’s perspective about this issue. CONS: despite your comments on your audience and their political beliefs, I’m a Republican so maybe keep it non partisan and away from hot topic issues and comments….sticking to what this actually is, a podcast about a popular 90’s show, not virtue signaling hour with Hollywood leftists. Just a thought! Your audience would appreciate it a lot more than ya think!

First, let me say I love it when you call it the ppad also I saw you over the weekend in Pittsburgh and I just thought you were absolutely stunning in person. Just how I see you on TV Tori I loved meeting you so much. You are exactly how I thought you would be in real life so I can get a sense from listening to someone you think they might be in real life and you were exactly that you're so amazing and beautiful. I love you so much of the show from the beginning, I've watched almost everything that you been in. I love it.

    Love this show ❤️
Found this podcast last year and I love it!! My best friend and I watched BH90210 together every week in the 90’s. Absolutely loved the drama of the show, even the crazy story lines! Now decades later I put it on Pluto TV as background on the weekends while I’m doing laundry or grading papers. I wish every episode was on there, but I’ll take what I can get. I’ve seen the episodes on there dozens of times (i seriously hope that doesn’t make me sound too crazy but I truly am a Super Fan 😂). So of course I was excited to check out this podcast! I love hearing the back stories to the episodes and the hilarious commentary. It reminds me so much of my best friend and I analyzing each episode and what might happen next. Thanks for helping me reminisce about my 20’s 😊

I’m in love with this podcast!
I’ve only listened to 2 and I’m completely hooked. I’ve been rewatching the series for years. This is just so fun to listen to their takes on the episodes. A new perspective on my favorite show!!!!

    Uninformed about real world
Loved 90210 and appreciate the women but the amount of uninformed comments about the real world is too much.. including Federal minimum wage is 7.25 not $17. Recaps are very boring and scattered.

    Must listen for 90210 fans
I’m am completely delighted by this podcast! I was a fan of the original 90210 from the start, and listening to this trio of ladies rehash the episodes is so much fun. Jennie, Tory, and Amy all bring something a bit different to the show and it works best when they are all together. I can’t wait for each new episode each week.

    I love it
Listen every week without fail. Love hearing the back stories and the commentary from the producer Amy makes it a comedic relief I look forward to every Monday.

I have a great 90210 story, and just recently went back to listening to you both to have some joy in my head instead of the news, even if just once a day. I know lines and story lines and outfits better than the best of them. I was born in 1977 and watched you and all the eps abroad for years and now know way too much based on countless years of Beta and VHS, and the need for comfort into my 30’s and 40’s. I love listening to Amy and her respect for the joy and both of your rewatch and dedication to story lines. I just thought it would be super fun to meet you and experience that. I think you would be a little in awe about my “unhealthy” dedication to the show and the characters.

I was just listening to both Brian and Shannen’s podcast respectiviely. They both talk like thoughtful adults. There’s a genuine realness about it all. In contrast, Jennie and Tori are phoning it and come across as totally superficial. They’re performing. They (along with Amy) talk like simpleton teenagers putting on a show for dumb people. I don’t know if they’re dumbing it down, or they’re just that vapid. I actually think it’s a little of both. Even the way the podcast descriptions are written. Like we’re 12. “OMG YOU GUYZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!” — That’s the basically every episode description. That’s basically every episode discussion, actually. ICONIC! I”M JELLY! TOTES! AM I CRAY CRAY? Maybe they’re just not all that smart or thoughtful. God knows they barely put any effort into this podcast. They just show up and ramble all over the place. They’re obviously just picking up a check.

    Love being a Fan
Amy is the fan we all are, that dying to comment and question everything we loved about the show. I love going back in time with my favorite characters and learn so much more about the show this time around and this podcast gives you that extra magic about 90210 that you knew was out there ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Loving this podcast!
Hi Ladies! Love y’all! I’m 52 so around your age bit older! I found y’all while listening to housewives podcast & I’m thrilled! Started rewatching the entire series currently on season 5 episode 8! I agree with your last podcast love when they have Jim and Cindy on more actually the parents in general. This Andrea and Dillon attraction 🤔 idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t see that, just felt they had a deep respect for each other perhaps? Loving the hairstyles and remembering the fashion trends! Such fun! I find it interesting when you talk off topic about the back stories fun times. Looking forward to more! 💗

    Please Remove Amy
I was a die hard 90210 fan and never ever missed an episode growing up. I have wanted to listen to this pod so badly and relive all the moments of my fave teen show but I can’t even make it though an episode because the PRODUCER is somehow a main cast member and talks more than Jenny and Tori combined. She’s so annoying. Her takes on the scenes do not matter. It’s not an intelligent or even slightly interesting perspective. “I liked this scene.” “I didn’t like this scene.” How fascinating. Lmk when she’s gone and muted like most producers are.
  • 9020_fan
    Get Tori her own show
Without Jennie, she wouldn’t be such a mean girl. Jennie needs to listen back to hear what a bitter has been she’s become, and Amy can focus on her other work where she’s not obsessed with trying to stay on Jennie’s good side.
  • Kanderson671
    Hard to listen to
Lots of talking over each other, disjointed and clunky.

    Loss of David
So sorry for the lost of one of your cast mates. David Gail -Stuart. Hugs to you all

Least reliable rewatch podcast out there
Want to listen to the producer talk more than the hosts? Want to hear one of the stars just say over and over they don’t like the show? Want the constantly talking producer to talk about things not related to the show at all? Then listen to this. When they DO record an episode it’s usually entertaining because of Tori. Problem is the have decided a lot lately to just take several weeks off and not even make a simple post to acknowledge they aren’t on the air. Over a 3 month period they’ve skipped 5 weeks and don’t even acknowledge when they bother to return they’ve ignored the podcast and fans. It’s lazy producing by Amy Sugarman, both hosts, and not worth the follow anymore.

I’m a fan of 90210, but this pod makes me loose Brain Cells!!!!
Do not watch… seriously both Jenni and Tory are moronic mean girls! It’s shocking how much they boost themselves up and trash other female costars to make themselves seem cooler / more relevant. I LOVE 90210 … watch Again with This podcast if you’d like to hear people who actually know their information on their show and ACTUALLY prep for episodes!!! Jenni and Tori miss major episode details constantly and deadlines for episodes. It’s shockingly bad. Don’t waste any pressure minutes of your life on it..
  • tsx387
    Ho ho ho episode
I usually enjoy all of the episodes but you two came off as rude to Cheryl. It is not because you did not answer her questions you just seemed “off putting” to her.

    Poor effort, poor hosts
The whole show feels like last minute homework and phoned in. Podcasts can be very well done with some effort. This is so lazily produced it’s sad. And to think they have SEVERAL producers LOL WOW. Tori and Jennie aren’t genuine, they’re fake. Amy is exhausting. The cuts to break are so random and poorly executed. There’s no production value. They roll out of bed and talk. And it shows. Some hosts can pull this off with great personalities. Jennie and Tori are not those hosts. The producers aren’t on top of basic show research and prep (getting the credits/notes from IMDb doesn’t count.) . Guests are booked weeks after their actual episode airs - again no foresight - the “production” is always last minute. After-the-fact ideas that make no sense. The hosts aren’t good at this. But neither are the producers. One time they actually just let a personal off-mic conversation between Ian , the girls, and Jennie’s manager run for two minutes at the end of the show , WOW. Who edits this?? This is so poorly produced that someone DID NOT check this before publishing. But it tracks, not surprised at all, considering how amateur this production is. Jennie and Tori can’t save it with their fake personalities. Hard pass. I wanted to like this.

    I love this podcast !!
90210 was as such a epic show !!! Rewatching it now makes me notice so much more that I missed or just didn’t understand back when it aired , the the fashion LOVE it . But I’m a bit curious after watching house Kardashians to hear Tori opinions or just thought about the Kardashians since it was revealed that the Kardashians when kids spends lots of time at the house .

    A real let down lately
This podcast started out great. Recap/watch along episodes would consistent drop every Monday. Loved when they would have a little banter and catch up before they dove into that weeks podcast. It even got to a point where they would drop shorter episodes on Thursdays when they would go back and interview special guests that appeared on 90210 which was a welcome treat. Lately, the episode drops have been inconsistent. And currently, it’s been over 3 weeks with no new episodes, no explanation that they needed to take a brief hiatus, no updates on the 90210mg Instagram account about what’s going on or when new episodes will be coming and the shows hosts have also not addressed the lack of episodes on their personal IG accounts. It’s like they carry on like nothing ever happened. It’s extremely frustrating and I’m at a point where I’m ready to give up and unsubscribe. It seems like everything was fine for the first 4 seasons. Then once they got to season 5 when Tiffani Amber Theissen’a character joined that the wheels suddenly fell off the bus. This podcast was great when they started and found their rhythm. But lately, it’s like they don’t even care anymore which is sad and disappointing for the day one 90210 fans.

    Great podcast but verrrrry inconsistent
Good content but never comes out weekly. Huge gaps between episodes with no notice, explanation or apology.

    Great until Amy came along
The show started off kind of slow, but then Jennie and Tori started to get into a groove. At first I didn’t like how they discussed what was currently happening in their lives, but then got invested in it as much as the recap. Right before Sisanie left the show was really peaking. Lots of backstory, hearing from Darren Star. Unfortunately, that ended when Amy took over. Her voice, her enunciation, her interruptions, her dominating the conversations instantly turned me off. Like nails on a chalkboard. Her addition to the discussion basically boiled down to iterations of these things: she loves Dylan and Kelly together better than Dylan and Brenda, her sorority days, she wants to jump Ian’s bones, Dylan is hot, she doesn’t like Brenda. Her maturity level in these discussions and her manic energy would have me believe she’s actually 10 years old. Sadly I couldn’t take it anymore and had to stop listening towards the end of season 2. Way to ruin the show, Sugarman. Production fail.

I love the real life friendship
The thing I like best about this podcast is the close friendship of Jenny & Tori, with Amy. It's a plus that Sugarman is a super fan of 90210. I can relate to that. It takes me back to the 90s. It reminds me how much I loved the hair and make up of that era. And these ladies still look fantastic! Great theme song, by the way! So fitting!

Love all of you, including Amy
Everything about this podcast is perfect. Don’t change a thing, ladies. I feel like I’m in a group chat with friends when I listen to this podcast. Amy, don’t listen to the haters, they’re just jealous! We are all Amy! My only wish is that you’d make more episodes… they are the best part of my week and I miss you all when there isn’t a new one. Hope all is ok with you and that you’re on some fabulous vacation.

    Love this!
Absolutely love the podcast!! Really enjoy that you have non-regular characters come on and share their experiences!
  • Was funny at first
    Amy ruins it
I cringed when she was protesting Jennie and Tori’s discussion about doing Reddit because people will be mean to her. Like what does she even bring to the table? Boring stories of her college days?
  • Paula Cronic
Enjoyed the podcast in the beginning but ….
I used to enjoy this podcast, but lately they’ve been taking breaks, weeks at a time, and not even letting the fans know when there’s no episode that week (or multiple weeks). Incredibly disrespectful to the listeners providing support to the show. It was fun while it lasted, but I’m out.
  • GirlWhoTravelsWorld
    Great Podcast but Very Inconsistent
Love the podcast, but wish it was put out more consistently! The schedule has gotten very haphazard, & they will skip several weeks without warning.

    Hooray for 90210MG!
This podcast brings me so much joy! Love Jennie and Tori, and Amy’s enthusiasm for the show is infectious! So glad all episodes are now available on Prime, so I can watch with the podcast again! Thank you for letting us into your 90210 world!

    Loved it...until I found out...
I bought the DVD set of the entire series because they don't show all of them on TV (Paramount+) due to music licenses and such. I was super excited to find 9021OMG and listen to Tori and Jennie and am frantically trying to catch up. I wish they'd give a recap and give more BTS stuff, but it's fun to listen to them. Then I was reading that there is a new producer in more recent episodes and I'm not happy with who it is. I stopped listening to another of the podcasts she's on because of her...she seemed to take over the whole podcast and I'm scared this is gonna happen here, too. I'm really bummed. Tori and Jennie--I really like you guys, but I can't deal with your new on-air producer.

    Get rid of Amy
It’s fun to hear Tori and Jennie, but Amy is so insufferable to listen to. Is she even a fan of the show? She comes across as rude, disinterested, and obnoxious. And to answer everyone's question of whether anyone even liked Valerie, yes, the fans loved her, and we love Tiffani too!

    LOVE This Podcast
I’m so excited they’re back. This podcast is taking me back to the 90s and I’m living for it! I love hearing from all the guest stars and learning more about the behind the scenes. 90210 is my all-time favorite show and I have watched every episode multiple times. Tori and Jennie are so fun in their recaps and they remind me of me and my bestie!! Five stars and five hearts ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!

    Love this podcast!
Love this show! I’m a huge Tori, Jennie, and now Amy fan! Please don’t tell me it was canceled! I hope we’ll be getting more episodes soon, this unannounced hiatus makes me nervous. More importantly, I really hope everyone’s health is okay 💜

    GET RID OF AMY
This woman takes over every episode, and they allow it. She’s loud, super obnoxious and self centered. She fails to stay in the background as she should! Because she’s not the star here. The girls literally cannot get through a synopsis without her shouting things and jumping to the end of the episode when clearly the girls don’t want to. When are they going to listen to their fans - who supposedly this podcast is for!! - and get rid of her. If she can’t change her ways then she needs to go. So much time wasted listening to someone whose stories we don’t care about.
  • vnx999
    So much potential
8/2023 Update. Apparently they went from weekly to biweekly episodes without any announcements. I’m just overall disappointed with the hosts’ lack of enthusiasm for the show overall, plus these random changes just make feel like unsubscribing. Update: Don’t know if my comment (as well as a few similar ones) was actually read, but it seems like the podcast took a turn for the better. The episode discussions have gotten much more engaging and entertaining. Keep up the good work, ladies! As a lifelong fan of the show and based on the description, I expected the podcast to be about the episodes. Instead there’s 20 mins of ads, 30 mins of rambling nonsense, 5 mins of the third host whose name is never mentioned trying to get Tori and Jennie to focus on the episode, and the last 5 is actual discussion of the show. The most puzzling part is that they allegedly watch the episodes before the podcast, yet remember very little about them. Not sure how that’s possible that I remember more trivia about the actual show with not having it seen it in years than two main actresses.

    Love, Love, Love it!!
I was a huge fan back in the day & Oddly enough, I found the urge to re-watch the entire series earlier this summer. I somehow stumbled upon this podcast about a month in to my binge watching & I can’t stop listening! I stopped watching at season 5 so I can now binge listen & sync up! I’m loving every minute of all of you, your guests, the nostalgia, the backstories, etc. Thank you for making me laugh too!!! Well done ladies!

    Great show, poor advertising
I really enjoy your podcast and a walk down memory lane. It’s fun & lighthearted. However, I would enjoy it more if Plan B was not consistently being advertised. Please reconsider your advertiser.

    Amy needs to go
I love Jennie and Tori and 90210. I know I am a young millenial but I have loved this show forever. This podcast has so much promise but Amy (the producer I believe) has taken over the show. I get it she was a teen in the 90s and a fan of the show. It comes out when talking about the show and she overly gasses up Jennie and Tori into dissing Brenda/Shannon and now Valerie/Tiffany. Not to mention all the times Amy states “Brandon /Jason or Dylan/Luke look smoking or babalious”. Today’s episode said Dylan looked hot as an alcoholic”. Let’s discuss maybe Luke’s great portrayal of alcoholism as I have dealt with family members with alcoholism and Dylan really is great at portraying Dylan and no I don’t find Dylan sexy but tragic. Also a few months ago there was an episode with Paul Johansson aka John Sears or Dan Scott on One Tree Hill and when he wanted to talk about the similarities in the characters how 90210 could walk so one tree hill could run or how the females on one tree hill built each other up the hosts just kept wanting to talk 90210. I really think they need a new producer. Jennie really has great takes and tries to talk about the show and Tori could prepare more. Please get a new producer get rid of Amy.

    Confused…
I was such a fan of your show, and am actually Class of 1993. Came across your podcast and am very confused as of why you guys sound like you don’t remember the show at all! As main characters, why do you seem surprised or have forgotten what happens to characters, for example? I enjoyed listening but I feel you are very detached from your own characters making it very hard to grasp.

    So thankful!
I discovered your podcast last month when it was mentioned in People magazine. I have just completed binge listening to all the episodes and I am so thankful that I have found you! I was a sophomore in college when the show first aired, and I quickly became a faithful viewer. I even remember watching the breast cancer scare episode from season 1 with a junior high student that I babysat (her aunt had recently been diagnosed so this episode definitely hit close to home). As a 52 year old busy Mom and teacher, thank you for the distraction and the nostalgia. I’m so thankful that I’m now caught up so that I can rewatch the episodes in real time with you. Thank you again! Keep doing what you’re doing. Looking forward to the next episode. God bless!

    Don’t Change a Thing!
I just discovered this podcast (July 29, 2023) so I have no idea what the status is as of right now. Interestingly enough, I saw one of Jennie’s Instagram Reels, which prompted me to stalk her account, where I saw the podcast, which prompted me to start from the beginning, which prompted me to rewatch Beverly Hills 90210 along with the podcast!!! I can still remember where I was when I watched the premiere of Beverly Hills 90210 - I was a junior in high school, was hooked instantly and became a huge fan and watched every episode and basically lived a parallel life. I watch now and love the nostalgia of the fashion and teen drama, but I also find myself getting emotional as a parent and adult. Jennie referenced the reviews saying listeners did not like the personal banter, but I love it! If I wanted a podcast to purely break down each episode, I would go and listen to the handful of podcasts that do that. I want to hear the behind the scenes and personal stories from the people who lived this!!! Looking forward to getting through each episode in order. Thanks, ladies!!!

    Love it
I love these two! Donna and Kelly forever! I’ve been rewatching 90210 on Amazon Prime and found this podcast. It’s been fun watching the show then listening to the podcast. I love the guests they have on. The teasing, the laughter, the fun- bring it on Tori and Jenny- you two are everything that we didn’t know we needed. Thank you! Keep it up!

    Reliving my youth…
I’m so glad I fell upon this podcast, as 90210 is my childhood! I grew up with them and based my wardrobe off of them, so I love this! I’m only on the 2nd season of the podcast but the editing sometimes seems off ( cuts off while they’re still talking or repeats what they already said?) I’m hoping it gets better as it goes on…thanks for sharing yourselves to us!
