    too many ads
Interesting topic, but I’m going to find another pod on the subject. The advertisements get as much air time as the show itself. Every time i get immersed in the episode, it’s interrupted by a commercial break. I understand the need for ads…but jeesh!

    You’ve been Q’ed
By the stupid dude who made this podcast if you gave it more than 1 star. Learn to ask questions of your betters then you will become Q.
  • bradt24
Wanted to rate had to give at least 1 star
This is trash. This dude would neeevvveeerrrrr have anon(s) on to have open dialogue. Julian’s Rum, Dave/X22, shady grove or Jordan Pederson as a guest to discuss and hear each others points of view- not even to determine who’s right or wrong, but simply to give an opposing perspective. For that 0/5 stars (1 is the best I can do lol)

    Yawn
Oh look another podcast copying the same lies the MSM spouts all day long. I'll pass.

    Substantive and Insightful
Listening to this a year after the Jan. 6 violence at the Capital has been fascinating, and I find the commentary from Series 1 to have been largely spot on given what happened in the ensuing year. Well done. Excellent independent journalism.

Deep state at work - Controllers controlling here
More propaganda just like the MSM. A cult that teaches you to think for yourself, that is a threat! To the evil satanic leaders governing our planet. It’s funny people think that d bag Pedo Jow is really President haha! He couldn’t run a McDonalds!!!! Warning: Orange man bad Trump derangement syndrome headquarters right here. And I’m the crazy one, lol I advise anyone that thinks I’m crazy to watch Fall of the Cabal on Bitchute. Spend a couple hours and see what they’ve done to us. Or go on insulting people learning about the truth and go back to sleep. This truly is the matrix. Take the blue pill and go back to sleep. Or wake the -eff- up and learn the truth. Have the courage to take the red pill and go down the rabbit hole. I guarantee you find yourself in the process. Much love and light to all! ❤️💡❤️💡❤️💡 It’s not about Q, it’s about waking up. God is in charge!

Accurate, timely … but a little thin
This podcast does a great job of summarizing the QAnon craze, from its origins to its present state. What it covers it covers accurately, with concision and clarity and with all sources cited. However, what it lacks is depth. I’m not dinging it any stars for this, but am rather observing for the listener that the series centers on who’s who, and on who did what when, and on the direct results of each actor’s actions … but it is not a deep academic dive placing QAnon in a historical context or outlining its broader sociological and psycho-political ramifications. And this is fine, not everyone is after a deep dive. But if you already know the history and broad details of QAnon’s origins and present state, this podcast’s material will seem familiar to you. If what you’re after instead is an analysis of QAnon’s historical parallels, and of right-wing paranoias, and of conspiracy-mongers and their useful idiots generally, you’ll do better seeking out one of the many podcasts originating from a university or a think-tank covering QAnon. This is not to say this podcast isn’t thorough: what it does cover it covers completely. Having listened to this podcast, you will absolutely come away with a clear picture of this particular lunatic fringe. I would absolutely recommend this podcast to anyone unfamiliar with its subject. However, the presentation can at times feel rather tabloid-y, for which I do ding this show a few stars. It frequently presents the voices of participants and of bystanders in a way that feels leering or dramatic—not always providing depth or detail, so much as adding melodrama or a gawking “Look at this car wreck! I did, and it was bloody and gory!” kind of perspective. And this is the problem with giving only a surface overview: it tells us all the details … but by not helping us understand them, the show comes across as sensationalistic and at times a little shallow. This problem of style may be endemic to iHeartRadio’s programming generally, it being a platform built—ironically—on spreading the exact kind of paper-thin sensationalist hogwash this podcast aims to expose. Which is a peculiar thing, listening to a podcast presented in a breathless outraged manner not entirely dissimilar from how QAnon’s perpetrators presented their hoax. Whether iHeartRadio imposes this aesthetic on its podcasts or only picks up podcasts already of this aesthetic is impossible to know. But this podcast’s problems are identical to those of absolutely every other show in the iHeartRadio catalog. And then there are the ads … good golly, there are the ads!! Every five minutes, roughly 90 seconds of ads. This may be a large part of why the show feels so thin: how much info can it present when its half-hour is broken up—four to six times!—by eight minutes of ads?? That said, and the problematic nature of iHeartRadio aside, this podcast is factual, timely, and maybe even necessary. If you are lucky enough to be unacquainted with QAnon, brace yourself and let this podcast fill you in on the details. However: there are many other podcasts which also cover QAnon, carried by less problematic platforms, and usually ad-free … so if you already know the surface details, and you’d prefer a more thorough analysis, check out the material Brookings or the New School in NYC or similar sources have put out.

    Great work
This is great summary of all the Q madness.

DOWN WITH QANON / DOWN WITH Q
QAnon has made my twin sister into a different person than the one who was by my side through thick and thin the past 54 years. I want he/she/they/it brought to bear and stopped. Can’t somebody stop this before I lose my twin forever? Please, I’m begging you!

    Amazing podcast
Thank you for making this podcast! I binge-listened to all episodes in 2 days. Please make another season!
  • This is an awesome podcast
    Great podcast exposing the truth
I am so glad that Jake decided to do this podcast. It’s important work and I hope it reaches a very wide audience. Everyone should listen to this. Thanks Jake.

I didn’t know this was the same guy who represented Richard Jewel. I admired him for his role as Jewel’s attorney, however, no more. What a nut. This pod is good info, well delivered and appreciated.

    The episode about destroying families…
I’m choking back tears. The amount of gaslighting that this person’s child and survivor is enduring will crack your heart right in half. Thank you for your work. While it’s hard to listen at times (hits so close to home) it’s a reminder that these people are not safe people with harmless conspiracy beliefs.

    Queer Queens need Qualudes
F Q. Losers. Cancer eaters. Trump suckers. Go to Disney World if you want fantasy. This pod shines light on these evil losers. Science gone to far. Another example of technology making things worse. Fascist Americans believe this nonsense.

I leave every cast shaking my head and a little scared
I love it. I try not to listen when I am stoned because the subjects can be mortifying. There are a lot of crazy people out there and now they have some power.

    A Really Tough Listen
I am someone who has had to cut ties with friends and family that have been lost to this Q madness. Thank you for putting this information out there, and also thank you for suggesting that laughing at them, shunning them, dismissing them, doesnt help. I will think about how to re-engage them in the near future.
  • Jon Lee Pettimore
    Heads up, jake.
Someone at I heart radio put a black rifle coffee ad in your episode where you spoke with Travis View. Black Rifle Coffee is a company that has loudly supported Trump and Kyle Rittenhouse during the summer if 2020. These people are skirting the edge of fascism and shouldn’t be associated with anyone.
  • yomkippur1217
Very little content with excessive advertising.
The episodes present very little information and pack 5-6 minutes of ads into every 21-26 minute episode. Go listen to either the trueanon podcast or qanon anonymous podcast instead!
  • Lindwell
Good, unbiased podcast about the Q cult
The host is unbiased about what’s happening in America. He calls out the hyper-conservative, problematic issues associated with Q. The one star reviews on this podcast are from people who feel attacked by the facts. Take a listen and form your own viewpoints!
  • QADong
    Decent enough
Not much new information here, but it’s nonetheless decently well done. The claims of “liberal bias” by previous posters are somewhat hilarious and show the right’s inherent addiction to confirmation bias.
  • hazelbnr
    Second time around 👍
Jake predicted much of what has come to fruition over the past two years. Great primer, and adjunct to the HBO doc, especially for those who are looking for deeper understanding of the Q ideology. Glad you are back for a second season!

The bad reviews by conspiracists have made me interested to listen
Loving the podcast so far! Thanks to the bad reviews by q followers. That tells me that this podcast is likely speaking truth.

    Great pod
Really enjoyed season 1. Happy to see a season 2 emerge. Great reporting 💯
  • Kevin from Austin
    Yay, season 2!
Glad to see you’re still following this continuing story. Q is gone but the crazies live on. The bad reviews here accusing you of being a Democrat are so clueless; they obviously haven’t listened to the podcast at all.
  • Hanz-on
    Q is Ongoing
I’m glad there’s a season two. I’ve been wondering what’s happening in Q World. Looking forward to episode one on June 8!
  • Griffinator77
    Don’t waste your time
There is very little information here, it seems like the entire thing was researched in an afternoon. It’s full of ascribing motivations, speculation, and grasping at straws that it basically becomes a cheap conspiracy theory in itself. Despite claiming to not have a dog in the fight, the hosts clear left wing bias blatantly obvious. Skip it.

This guy called a lot of things that have just been brought to light.

    B I A S E D
A well made podcast, however the hard left lean maintained throughout is honestly sickening. I came with little prior knowledge on the QAnon phenomenon with the hopes of coming to my own conclusion. Unfortunately, Jake Hanrahan has other plans for his listeners. I’m sorry Jake, but I didn’t come here to listen to a Democrat complain about an obviously Republican-based movement. Also, having Sarah Hightower (who openly believes QAnon is a hoax) as your fact-checker doesn’t help your case much. At the very least, you should have made it more clear in the description on the bias of the media presented.
  • LikwidFace
    Decent info with strong bias
Good dive into Q anon, but the explicit hard left bias shows itself with side rants that have little to do with Q. There is something of value here, even though the host has a fairly bad case of TDS.
  • s0phaya
    Disappointing :(
I'm really sorry to say this but there is really nothing new about the info in this podcast. Listening to QAA or just reading an article will give you the same information
  • Brooke276
    Easiest binge & condensed
Good short dive into the QAnon movement. I was not familiar with the inner workings and this brought it all together well.
  • NazMonChicago
    Great Job Mate
I have to say this is the first podcast I binged from first to last and loved it I’ve always been somewhat curious on this topic but not necessarily on the counter but I was interested in the motivation that draws people to this and it definitely did solve some answers to me I’m not going to get into the continent I believe people have a right to believe what they want as long as it doesn’t hurt others there’s definitely some issues I have with this content but it definitely gave me a better understanding great job to the host and producers did a great job with the contact and not going down to many rabbit holesKept the show entertaining and look forward to your next podcast down the road
  • Thirdwaver
    Excellent work
Since the final episode was before the insurrection at the capitol, I’m finding myself yearning for more. Not only was the inauguration a huge blow to Q followers (bigger than the election results), but the Q beliefs seem to be spreading into mainstream politics through members of congress. I don’t know if we can continue to stand by and hope it fizzles out when it’s looking like the opposite is happening. The goal posts are moving so frequently now I don’t even think they set them down anymore. I’d love to hear more interviews with your experts post capitol riots. I’d also like to understand if the government can do anything to chop off the head of this snake (figuratively speaking). They don’t seem to be CIA level technical geniuses and the Philippines is a US territory. For many families destroyed by this, it feels like the only hope is to shut off the feed of disinformation long enough for the followers to take a breath and look around.

    Listened in one night!
Very well done! Conclusion gives a way to deal with this constructively.
  • Carlotoyz
    Truth is scarier than fiction!
This was very well put together. Really enjoyed the journalism. It’s scary to think I have a cuz who believe in Q. I never knew what he saw in this madness. Now I understand it better.
  • RickP3
    👏👏👏
Please make this into a docuseries on Netflix. The world needs it.
  • Emi Grace H
    Follow up episodes?
Loved following this podcast. Jake does a fantastic job at breaking down the Qanon “movement”. Will there be any follow up episodes? Considering the Jan 6th insurrection at the capital, it would be interesting to hear his input about the influence of Q. Best, Emi

Seemed good- can’t concentrate with music!!
I really wanted to listen and learn more on this podcast... but the strange music playing constantly in the background is very distracting!! Could not get past the first episode.
  • matochak
    Well Done
Jake breaks down a difficult to comprehend movement with integrity.
  • please no more nyc stories.
Fodder for ads. Not worth listening.
This podcast really doesn’t cover any new territory that isn’t already covered by 600 bigger podcasts. Literally sites Reply all’s story that gets it all cover in the length of 1 q clearance episode. I also don’t understand why he just ended it in December when it’s an ongoing problem and new stories occur like maybe the insurrection on January 6th?! Feels like it would be worth covering right!
  • hotpodsnow
A good intro if you need a primer
Appreciated that this gave a good summary of what the what is even Q & the likely men behind the mask (for more in depth info on the Watkins tie, listen to the Reply All episode). Also like that not every single twist & turn in the rabbit hole is discussed. I love that cleaning and reviewing the fountain pens is how a stressed out sex-addict & creator of political mayhem relaxes.
  • Ahdawnis
    Not worth the hype
There isn’t anything new or profound here in this pod. Skip it.
  • SKO from the Tundra
    Ok
This has a decent amount of info but seemed repetitive at times to fill space. The hosts personal opinions came out a bit too much, including the plea to basically be gentle with QAnon.
  • jkat009
It’s about who could be Q
Really enjoyed listening to this. I found it very insight as someone who doesn’t want to give any recognition to the Q movement, but also wanted to understand their history and really wild movement to follow someone, that is really a figment of their imagination. Great work.
  • cab6768
    Great
Gives you all the info you need to shut down the cult followers of Q Anon
  • Urbanmystic
    More Please
Listened to the whole project on a drive to Sedona. It answered a lot of questions I had about who/what Q Anon was/is about and it’s progression into a cultish movement. Well done! and good luck to those who have been consumed. I hope Mr Hanrahan will offer a follow up soon.
