    One of the Best!
I loooovveee Crime Weekly. I mainly listen to the podcast, but sometimes I watch the videos on YouTube, and both are excellent. Stephanie and Derrick balance each other out so well, and I love their banter. Derrick’s insight as a former detective really adds to the show, and Stephanie’s knowledge is a perfect compliment to it. Overall, 10/10 for me!

The Best True Crime podcast period
I have been a fan on Stephanie since following her channel on YT many years ago. I met Derrick on Big Brother and was a huge fan in his season. When I saw them paired up I wasn’t so sure… But they have really delivered! Their dynamic is that of siblings. They bust each other’s chops and keep each other honest. They are both funny and smart. Their coverage of these cases is both empathetic and thorough. You won’t be disappointed. Long time listener!

    Derrick’s voice is soothing
I love listening to Crime Weekly and hearing Derrick’s POV. It’s nice to hear from someone who has been a police officer instead of speculation of what might happen. He has the background knowledge to speak intelligently on the subject. I like the deep dives Stephanie goes into on each case. P.S. I am a Big Brother fan but never seen 16…until recently. I binged the whole season in just a few days. Derrick played one of the best games I’ve ever seen. I’m glad he won and was not robbed like Tyler Crispen.

    Great Podcast
Aloha from Maui, I’ve been a longtime listener of Stephanie’s YT channel and was so happy when y’all started the Podcast! I look forward to the new episodes every week I tell myself I’m only allowed to listen if I’m driving or exercising thanks for keeping me company 😜

    My fave true crime podcast!
Derrick and Stephanie are my favorite true crime podcasters! They perform such thorough research and discuss cases with a lot of compassion for victims and their families. I like that they have different perspectives from each other so the discussion is always thought-provoking too!

    My Favorite Podcast!
This is easily my favorite true crime podcast I have ever listened to. I binged the entirety of podcasts in a little less than a month because if I was awake and not in class it was playing. The dynamic between Stephanie and Derrick is amazing. It takes off some of the heaviness of the rough cases, and overall makes the podcast more enjoyable to listen to. The deep dives into every case is something I have not found in any other true crime podcasts. After each case I feel like I could, and often do, talk about the case and the backstory. I have even gotten several people in my life to watch it because I talk about so many of the cases any chance I get. Each week I look forward to the next episode. It is just a really great podcast. I also cannot tell you how often I say “allegedly, in my opinion, don’t come for me” I don’t normally leave reviews but this podcast is truly a highlight of my day.

Crime weekly is the best true crime podcast hands down. I love the deep dives the most but I love anything you guys put out. You’re both extremely entertaining while also providing factual and respectful coverage of cases. Keep the episodes coming!

    FAVORITE podcast ever
I listen to a variety of podcasts, but this one has been my favorite by FAR since it came out (day one listener here)! Stephanie and Derrick have so much experience in the field of true crime between the two of them. *I love the longer breakdowns of a single case throughout multiple episodes!* They have changed my mind on who I thought was responsible for the deaths on multiple cases that I’ve heard covered so many times (JonBenet, Hae Min Lee/Adnan Syed, and more). Their work is thorough, yet still to the point, and they always keep the victims at the forefront and do their best to not sensationalize their stories. They are amazing!!!

    Best podcast ever!!
These two make my day. They communicate beautifully and the research is unbelievably good. Like nothing I’ve ever heard. They have a YouTube Channel by the same name. Can’t recommend these two enough. Love them so much. Fan for life.

    Wonderful show
Such a great show!!! The back and forth between these two is amazing and they do a good job making sure by the end of a case, you know it backwards and forwards. Can’t recommend Crime Weekly enough. Love you guys. 💖

    My favorites!!!!
This is my absolute favorite podcast. I'm here from YouTube, I've been a follower of Stephanie from the very beginning. Have watched every single one of her episodes multiple times and same for Crime Weekly. I have watched every single one, and now I just like it on in the background. I had to come over from YouTube because I can't watch Stephanie play with the Play-Doh. Sorry Stephanie! 😭😭😭 I would prefer to watch on YouTube but that's OK! I will listen to here for now!! Also love Derek's YouTube channel and have watched every episode!! No other podcast compares imo! Love u guys! ❤️

    Happy Anniversary!
I love the podcast and all the details you two give about the topics discussed. I learned more about these crimes then I ever knew. Keep them coming, I’m waiting.

    Stop interrupting Derrick!
Derrick talks way too much. He interrupts constantly, often with some asinine remark that makes him sound unintelligent. Admittedly he said he’s not well read and I have to agree. Oh and Derrick, it’s FLAK, not Slack. You catch FLAK, you pick up the Slack.

    So many ads
I used to love to listen to this podcast while working or running, but it’s at the point where I have to stop what I’m doing every 10-15 minutes to skip ads. I wish they would put them in one or two large chunks like the prosecutors do.

    Love it!
Hi guys! Only been listening since Dec of last year but I’m almost all caught up! Love the deep dive you guys do. Been listening to crime podcasts since about 2019 and I thought I heard everything about most of the crimes people do podcasts on but you guys have shown me I didn’t! So thank you! Keep up the great work!!

    Appreciate you!
I’ve been a listener for two years, and you never seem boring or stale! Keep doing you, you’re killing it (no pun intended)!

    Mixed Review
UPDATE: just listened to Leah Roberts episode. Soooo many ads! More than ever! And the whole tangent in this episode was insane! First off the “too many chiefs and not enough Indians” was super disrespectful and inappropriate. Second, I enjoy the detail, there was a lot of info on the JonBenet case that I didn’t know. However, Derrick seems to overpower everything Stephanie says like he is correcting her or restating what she already said. There isn’t a lot of chemistry between the hosts. Derrick seems to be a bit of a know it all and plays himself off as superior. Stop saying the episodes are going to be long and stop saying in “in our opinion” etc. we get it. You are speculating. Can’t you just put a disclaimer that these are the views of the hosts and doesn’t represent anyone besides them? Also, sometimes is a bit disorganized when saying “I don’t know” or “I can’t remember” or “I forgot”.

One of my all time favorites!
Crime Weekly is one of my all time favorite podcasts. I am an audio listener (about 95% of the time) I love the addition of crime Weekly news. I feel they try to switch things up as to not let the podcast get stale. My paranoia (keeping my head on a swivel) and distrust of people feels validated by Derrick’s safety suggestions and warnings.

    Excellent and in depth coverage!
Every case is so well-researched. Love the discussions. I check first thing on Friday morning to see what’s being covered and if the episode is less than 2 hours I have a disappointed sigh before diving in.

    The Dynamic Duo
Both Stephanie and Derrick are a magic pairing. They know their facts and deliver them professionally yet relate to their true crime audience. This is by far my favorite podcast/YouTube channel.

    Best true crime pod
Crime Weekly is by far my favorite true crime pod. Not only because of the extensive coverage and research put into the cases, but the conversational banter makes it feel a little less heavy than others which makes it enjoyable, engaging, and…not as depressing. I literally count down to friday for a new episode every week!

I’ve been listening religiously for years. Derrick & Stephanie- y’all make my 1.5 hr commute to work so enjoyable. Only complaint is I’ve heard every episode so I have to wait every week for a new one! 🫶🏻

I literally cannot function without listening
The way that Stephanie Harlow researches and covers the cases without biases, is perfect for those who wish to formulate their own opinions about the outcomes. Derrick Levasseur provides extremely insightful points and views from a detective’s perspective (see his other podcast.) I listen to Crime Weekly over all other true crime podcasts. My day is absolutely ruined if I can’t!

    Disappointed
I have been binging your podcast and loved it. But, I just listened to the Maya Kowalski case you presented. I had never heard of the case until your podcast but decided to research it further. You left out so much information that was not favorable to the Kowalskis. Now, I am questioning what you left out of other cases I’ve listened to. Either tell the whole story or be honest about your agenda.

    used to be great
crime weekly was me and my boyfriends favorite podcast for a while and we would tune in every week to listen. however, the MANY ads, extreme multiple part series, and stephanie’s overall attitude has ruined this show. stephanie comes across as arrogant and close minded, and when called out for it, doubles down and attacks her followers. derek however is a great co host and very experienced. at times it’s obvious he’s annoyed with stephanie and it’s laughable. this was a great podcast but now it’s meh? i get that the multiple part series can be appealing to some, but after every case is drawn out week to week, i’m bored.

    The Best
I just found this podcast after seeing DL on a short-lived tv show with Nancy Grace and appreciating his intellect and style. I just finished the episodes on the Hae Min Lee murder and am blown away. I’ve listened to all podcasts and watched all tv shows on this subject and was thoroughly overwhelmed and leaning towards believing Adnan to be innocent. I now feel that I have a good handle on the voluminous amount of information and believe exactly as DL and SH did after their in depth analysis and discussion. Both hosts are smart, focused, excellent communicators, and non-biased. I like their relationship and that they treat each other with respect even when they disagree. I’m excited for new episodes and to continue listening to back episodes.

    Love listening ❤️
I live listening to CW while in my car. There are days when I’m laughing hysterically or my jaw is on my lap and I wonder what passerby’s must think of me! But I love the coverage and the banter some times of the two. Great podcast!

    Wonderful team and perspectives
I love Stephanie and Derrick. They are a great team and offer different perspectives about each case they cover. I love that they are real and very relatable and aren’t afraid to speak their minds even if it is not a popular opinion. I would really love them to redo the JonBenet case now that they can speak more openly about their thoughts. It would be fascinating if they could interview John Ramsey at CrimeCon this year. Thank you for all your hard work!

    Best podcast
I like the way you cover cases on the regular. Although, I think this was n important case to cover for people to learn from. Especially young people on spring break. So I never mind a break from the usual if it's to bring awareness. Please cover the Karen Read case that is in current news!
  • ThatStrongWoman
Best true crime duo and deep dives!
I’ve been listening to Crime Weekly for a few months now, and find myself doing deep dives, and really interesting cases that I knew almost nothing about. Stephanie does great research and links everything together in a concise way while Derrick (spelled right? 🤣) backs it up with knowledge as a detective. Want four, six, even eight episodes of a case that interests you? You can listen to testimony as well. P.S. YouTube channel will have the videos, but you can get all the audio here.

    Amazingly thorough research
I love this podcast! Stephanie’s research is so thorough and her timelines are easy to follow. The coverage she provides of each case is the best I’ve ever heard. Derrick’s insight is also interesting to hear, especially since he is a former-detective and has lots of experience in the criminal justice field. I love hearing both of their opinions at the end of each deep-dive as well. Stephanie cracks me up constantly with her comments - she says out loud what we are all thinking and I’m definitely here for it! I look forward to listening to this podcast every day. Thanks for the crime entertainment!

There is no better podcast than Crime Weekly
Derrick and Stephanie are so engaging. Stephanie’s deep research into the cases combined with Derrick’s behind the scenes understanding of police work and the law gives us a fuller picture and understanding of the inexplicable murders they cover. I could listen to a new case every night. Give us more!!!

Hard listen as times, but entertaining
I really liked some episodes, but Stephanie is extremely biased. After listening to many of the episodes I get the sense she is very close-minded and a little over-confident, making her opinions come off as just rude and judgey. It’s hard to listen when I have a different understanding of a case (I listen to a lot of true crime) and then her take is presented in a way that completely distorts facts based off her internal biases. She also seemed to defend or make excuses for the right wing lunatic who chopped his dads HEAD OFF. Weird take Stephanie. On a positive note, I really appreciate Derek and his experience he offers a lot of good insight, as does Stephanie at times. I stopped listening but I’d like to come back and hopefully have a better listening experience if they change their approach a bit 😬

    Highly recommend
Derrick please bring back breaking homicide!!! You both do such a fantastic job!!! Highly recommend your podcast look forward to all your content even if I heard the case Derrick and Stephanie really take a deep dive and provide the most for each and ever case.
