GymLover2Much ado about nothing…and repetitive. The entire series could have been presented in 30 minutes. A bit naIve. A waste of BBC resources.

ikeeskyAnnoying HostThe host really ruins this podcast out of the gate. She constantly inserts herself into the narrative in ways that are disruptive while adding nothing. This one of those docs you dislike everyone involved. The cult leaders are opportunistic narcissists and the followers are deeply cognitively impaired dullards. And then, of course, the host is incredibly annoying.

BellamammalFascinating (eye roll)Fascinating story. Hope I can find it covered elsewhere. This was a total top level nothing burger.

LaBohemeNYCSobering! Must ListenBrilliant and layered exposé. A very important to hear how covering the story was impacting the reporter. I hope BBC has given her the support also to heal from this job. Well done!

EmilyHelenWell researched and important exposeI'd love to know where on the payroll or orgasm commune flow chart the negative reviewers fall, bc it's just a tad obvious. This podcast is great and I hope Tasty Nation (you can copyright that one) gets taken down.

realgasmnocult6969Just goes to show…How bored people can be convinced they are saving the world one orgasm at a time whilst voluntarily enslaving themselves and go broke. A sad, cautionary tale.

Baldur5Fantastic insightA great show with a truly fantastic insight into Onetaste. I was aware of them before, and knew they were really sketchy, but was totally unaware of how messed up things were behind the scenes. I actually knew someone who had taken their classes, and even before listening, had been worried about him being sucked into a cult looking to take his money.

MylissaRBoring, slow, repetitiveThis is more an educational documentary than a story about a cult. More about sex and self help than a story or docudrama. There were some interesting parts where things were mentioned or people in the cult were interviewed, but….then it was quickly back to the informative and educational aspects, which were repetitive. Much focus on experts with explanations, little focus on personal stories or the story of a cult. I love podcasts about cults and have listened to many. If that’s what you’re looking for, this isn’t it. The title is misleading. If you’re looking for an educational or self help podcast you may like it. But for me, overall it was boring and slow.

qqqaqqqqqqSexual ConservatismFor the context, I just listened through the first episode. One thing I particularly don't understand is that how could the host ask about the woman's feeling after OM like she has never experienced orgasm before or has any clue on it would feel.

jobee88Disorientating is indeed a wordPeople are so obnoxious. This is a fascinating podcast, well-researched and well-reported. It’s not liberal hysteria to be concerned about the welfare of vulnerable people. That’s called empathy. Also, to that one reviewer (eye roll), disorientating is a word - chiefly British. Just be calm.

oldjohnhallHigh Expectations/Total DisappointmentReveals more about the fears and closeted sexual conservatism of upper class liberals than it does about any exploitative practices of One Taste. Promises Orgasms but is utterly dry. Promises Cults but is just lonely nerds. Embarrassingly amateur host (disorientating isn’t a word lol) presents the podcast like a high school student reading a mediocre essay; boring, badly done, complete waste of time. Don’t bother

P.TwoBears1 Star Reviews—left by cult membersThis is an absolutely excellent podcast. Every five star glowing review as well deserved. I was surprised when I saw that a one star review could even exist for this nearly perfect piece of media. When I read closer? It was more than obvious that any bad review left is left by someone who personally still believes in this cult.Do not be fooled.

Mildly handycappedI’ve know people who OM. And one of the women who helped create one taste. Great podcastThis shined a light on all the things I suspected about this group which I now realize is a cult. The women who I know that participated in the early stages of the creation of this group was a complete narcissist. She took coaching classes and instead of using them to help people, she used them to manipulate people. She butted heads with Nicole (as two narcissist do) and left after a discrepancy regarding money. The power she had over the people in her program scared me and there are a lot of methods she used that I heard talked about in this podcast. Her fingerprints are all over the one taste methods of control. Her name is Mai Vu. Watch out for her. There is no over night solution to life long problems. I feel bad for those that have been hurt by her and Nicole.

GianCarloDeCarloWellness is Anything But…Orgasm Cult makes a major contribution to the debunking of the Wellness obsession that has besotted so many people in search of an alternate realty to describe their ‘unique’ maladies, both physical and psychical. Brilliantly paced, expertly narrated. High recommendation.

Awful Demand RefundAccurate PortrayalHost did an excellent job researching and reporting this story. Everything I know of firsthand is reported with complete accuracy. The rest I can easily picture as being completely true. Fine journalism around a subject that brings up a lot of strong reactions and emotions in most people.

@bethebutterflyTwisted & Distorted : Pathetic *Journalism*I spoke with this journalist toward the end of her recording of this podcast and she was wholly uninterested in anything positive. It was clear she had a specific agenda. I know every single person interviewed here and have first hand knowledge of the stories told in this podcast. The amount of twisted untruths and agenda, as well as the supposed *experts* in this podcast is shoddy and incomplete journalism. This podcast comes no where close to upholding the standards of Ethics of Journalism and is really no better than a tabloid media rag. It is shocking the BBC would support something like this, but hey everyone needs click bait to stay relevant today! In my conversation with this journalist she is only interested in the story that women are victims in both this conversation and beyond. She has zero appreciation for the practice, the Feminine, or transformation. I personally witnessed statements made in the Bloomberg article retracted by people who said them in their own musings and further explanations and I imagine we will see that develop over time. This podcast is slanderous and defamatory in every sense of the words. If you listen to this you should ask yourself why a full picture would not be presented. Why the majority of the people interviewed haven’t been around or part of the community for years. You should ask yourself why the journalist would reject accounts that were positive to be presented in full. You should ask yourself about the credibility of the sources and the stories.

William WeightlyWith eyes wide open. The wellness buisness is a scam. I mean what is this saying, that in order to treat women’s mental health you have to give ten an orgasim, how sexist. women and men fall for this because you feel your doing good, then before you know it your vagina is branded. If you want to do wellness and if you want meditation, fine, but walk in with your eyes open and if something feel wrong then drop it! Don’t give up your power or your Independence.
