JimmyNeutron027Could be betterBrian is one of the best actors of all time, it just fells like he lost interest in the podcast. He hasn’t posted anything since 9-12-24.
-
CJLove88RIPThe show has folded. No new content in two months. It was a good run, but lack of interest effected the show’s viewership and decline.
-
Permian BasinGreetings from University ParkThe show is great but this is the only podcast I listen to where the page automatically unfollows itself from my list. Once during The Office recap episodes and twice since the format change. The only show.

Flock in St. LouisUsed to be goodThis podcast used to be good when Brian talked about The Office. Now, the random guests are largely people that aren’t well known and there really isn’t anything special about it. Occasionally, he will interview a cast member or comedian and associated with the show we all tuned in for and that will get me back for a listen as I periodically check to see if any guests are on from the show. Kudos for finding something else to talk about but its the same kind of podcast everyone else is doing and that is not interesting.

valiegirl26Look forward to it every week!Love this podcast! I enjoy hearing from all the guests and learning more about the behind the scenes, especially after rewatching the British and US versions multiple times during the pandemic. Always great to hear the perspectives from so many departments. Also Brian, I met you in 2018 at comic con in Philly and it was amazing! Edit: we need an episode with Mindy Kaling pleaseeee!!! Edit 2: now that this has turned into off the beat it’s a lot more variety which is fun and I do enjoy it! However some guests I honestly have never heard of or don’t find myself very interested in. I feel like some are random and not really connected to the theme of comedy happening off the beat.

JennygraceSoooo InterestingEvery interview is excellent . Many of your guests I have not been familiar with . But I was happy to hear their life story !

Qwstffguhfxcvh bSurprisingly interesting.Very much enjoy this. Especially his choice of guests. Recommended !

#SleepydwarfFun banter with guestsMost of the time I like the interviews, even if I'm not familiar with the guest yet. Brian seems like he knows everybody, and everyone he interviews loves him! It's fun to listen to their rapport.
-
zach5963Fabulous showI absolutely love this show. I think it’s wonderful how much Brian uses Office references and guest as well as so many other wonderful guests. From wrestlers to actors, and writers to directors. Ever show is wonderful. I was never a podcast person and this is my favorite show.
-
maryttttkHighest Rec!This podcast is a joy! Brian is a gifted interviewer. He listens and asks great questions.
-
Monmouth HawkMy favorite comedy showOmg I love The Office! So I was really happy/excited to find this podcast! You guys are so funny, keep it up! ☺️

FfdgbjvbgAdsCrazy amount of ads, same ads repeated over and over. Nicotine ads, really seem irresponsible. Please reconsider what you advertise on you show. Show is nice to listen to but the placement of ads, sometimes cut off guest talking, kinda rude and confusing to listen to.
-
lacontyToo much ads!Come on man, ads are very annoying! Content is 5 stars, ads - 1, so average is 3 stars
-
DefFyF1Love itGreat long form interviews. Love the funny and personal stories.

amymonroe00Good to fall asleep toThis podcast is a solid 3. The guests are interesting, but not too interesting, making it a very soothing podcast to listen to as I fall asleep. Brian does research on his guests first which is much appreciated, though I was expecting him to be funny and have a bit of dimension, but that’s not the case. He makes the name of the podcast episode online the name of the guest, which I think he overestimates how recognizable these people are. I don’t know most of the names. It would be great to add more context to the titles. Overall the podcast seems a bit indulgent for Brian but I appreciate the soothing conversation!

adm_intPerfectI love this

LA11!Taran killamLoved this episode so much! And thank you for bringing up the genius of Howard Ashman! Howard is truly one of my favorite people of all time. Please go watch the documentary called Howard on Disney+

ashleyne2408Currently Enjoying!I just discovered podcasts a couple years ago, and thoroughly enjoy a wide variety of them. Brian’s has been added to my list of those I look forward to!

vickers830All Over the PlaceAt one time, this podcast had a central theme. Brian, aka Kevin, did a great job of interviewing former cast members, crew members, and writers/directors of the hit comedy The Office. He eventually ran out of people to interview and it has gone down hill since. If you’re a fan of Brian, you might still enjoy this podcast. But he is clearly holding on to this podcast by a thin string. Eventually he’ll run out of things to say.

Halaz-12654AdsStarted putting way to many ads. No need for an extra 10-20 minutes of ads repeating same ads throughout same episodes
-
GmastahpimpzToo many advertisement readsConstantly breaking to read 3-5 minutes of ads is extremely annoying. It makes the podcasts annoying to listen to. We all skip them, just front load the podcast and do the interviews in one shot.
-
B OggieOffice QuestionCan you talk about how you came up/do Kevin’s voice and how he talks? Love the show
-
suztrnLoved this interviewI didn’t know who Jon was but I loved this interview. The story about the dog show and how it came to fruition was inspiring. Plus I’m a huge fan of best in show and Eugene Levy glad it inspired Jon

MrsSpunkmeisterLove this showI have binge listened to this podcast. Brian is so good at interviewing and getting people to talk about their memories. It’s delightful to come to know him as a very intelligent human being! While it was interesting to meet the cast members and see how they different personality wise from their characters, the most fascinating part to me were the tech people and producers. Many of their jobs I didn’t know existed or had no concept of what they did. A stand-in? And he was one of the most fascinating interviews of all. The make up and hair people and Veda were also amazing. Thanks for doing this, Danielle Fishel was one of the best interviews Brian has done. And there have been a lot of good ones. Brian has found his calling!

Dalejo1983The Change Didn't Work for MeThis was a phenomenal show when focused on the office. It was truly the best glimpse into the creators (more than just the actors) that we've ever had. The talks went deeper than just funny BTS stories. It got into the spirit of the show and why it impacted viewers so much. I respect the attempt to keep it going after the Office cast was exhausted, but now it's just becoming one more in a long line of interview podcasts. I've got too many of those. And I've become rather numb to them, so I keep them at a minimum. I’m gonna be unfollowing. Grateful for what it used to be!

DunkinDavidMeh post-Office guestsLoved this prior to switching to the new show. Brian is still a great listen but his guests have not been particularly interesting as a whole thus far. Eric Dickerson and Joe Buck don’t really fit the “comedy happens off the beat” (or something like that) mantra that the show was described as by Brian when it moved to the post-Office format. The comedy/show biz guests like Kevin Rahm, Anne Winters, and Trammell Tillman have just not been very interesting. there are plenty of people from shows like parks and rec, veep, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, how I Met your mother, it’s always sunny in Philadelphia, community, schitts creek, curb, etc …even most of the cheers and mash cast are still alive. Jon Hamm, Rob Riggle, and Eric Stonestreet were great guests though.
-
CrsmtbBrian’s ShowGreat commentary but my only complaint is that the show ultimately goes back to the host Brian, talking about himself. A lot of questions go to the guest then he will say, “well my experience is this.” And go on to talk about how good he is even though he can’t break away from the office.
-
TAHeltonBig fan, HUGE!!I’m currently listening to the Joe Buck interview and had to go post this review during one of the commercial breaks. I’ve loved every single podcast Brian has done, been following since the beginning. But I got SUPER EXCITED when he said that there’s going to be more sports interviews. Giddy, actually!! I love football, and love when Brian starts talking ball. Can’t wait!! (PS…please have your favorite QB on.🤞He’s one of my favs too!!)

Dlh1045Long time listener reviewThis long-time listener has enjoyed this podcast series since Brian started it however I was inspired to leave this review after the Rodney Barnes interview. Mr. Barnes, in my view is very much under appreciated given the quality, diversity, and proliferation of his work. Glad to see him get exposed to more people via this interview. Brian. Please keep this podcast going. It is a weekly listen that I can’t bear to miss!

Stella SchieferLove this podcastI absolutely love this podcast and the office in general. It has been my safety net since I started listening. I absolutely 100% recommend this podcast.

SurfergatorgirlLearning new things about people everyone “knows”I have really enjoyed this podcast. Brian is a great host and his voice is so soothing and calming. I have listened to every episode and I always find out new and interesting things about his guests every time I listen. Today I listened to “Larry the cable guy” Dan Whitney and what a delight to hear about the man that created the character “Larry the Cable Guy”. It was so cool to hear how much he differs from his character he created. I look forward to hearing more and more of Brian’s guests. Thanks for this podcast, it always makes me smile. 😁
-
katerbugsazelaI can do without the nun-bashing.Nuns devote their lives to service, caring for children, poor, sick and elderly. They work for free. I much enjoyed The Office for its mockery of bigots. I learned today at least one of its actors is a bigot. When did you last build a school or hospital, Catherine Tate?

LaughterHelpsFun and entertaining podcast 💜I love listening to Brian interview and share his experiences. It is so interesting and fun to listen every week. Thank you 😊 for bringing more laughter and good vibes into this world 🙏.

Hulls37Great Podcast!Loving the revamp and the new Off the Beat formula. I loved the deep dive podcast, but broadening out and doing the same types of interviews but with other actors from other shows/movies/etc is so cool. Keep it up!!
-
ajlittleauthorWonderful podcastI am loving listening to this podcast! I am so glad Brian decided to do this.

Soul CaffeineSo fun and interesting!I am loving the Off the Beat podcast! I love how every interview is so different. Brian knows exactly what questions to ask and all the guests have been so fun and interesting. I really look forward to each and every episode. Keep it up!
-
CrosLoveLove the Podcast + Guest IdeaThis podcast is great. I love the office so I though I would be disappointed by Off The Beat, but it’s great! You asked for people to interview and I just thought about my favorite shows… someone from fuller house would super delight me. Maybe Candace Cameron? Anyways, love your show and consider someone from that show.
-
MojoMoniRe. Rob RiggleI’m such a big fan of Rob Riggle. He brings such huge energy to every character he creates and portrays. What a pro! When I saw this episode, I had this false memory of him having a recurring character on The Office. But that’s how memorable he is in EVERYTHING HE DOES! Thanks for your service to our country, Rob, and thank you for your artwork.😘🤗

amberfronckGood but…I like the podcast but oh. my. god. please stop with the 7 breaks of 2 minutes or more of ads or commercials, they’re extremely annoying and ruin the flow of the episode. I also do not like the questions that Brian asks involving “woke” culture and when he asks every guest questions prompting them to basically trash talk or call out The Office for its jokes that sensitive people cannot handle. I love The Office and want to hear about the show and people’s experiences, not talk politics and try to make problems where they are not.

Erin Fitz-BerLove itLove this podcast!!

Babi4x4Great Episode…but…Loves listening to this episode but now I can’t get a certain song ur of my head!! …Menomonee….

yoitssavIm the biggest fanThis podcast is so good!!! I listen to The Office Ladies and now I’m here for this one! I think that I am the biggest super-fan of the show. I have seen The Office so many times I have lost count! When it got taken off of Netflix, my world came crashing down. I went to 5 different targets to buy the DVD’s and got super lucky, there was only one box left! I started watching The Office in 2018! And I have not stopped watching it since! I was 15 and now I am 19 and still the biggest fan there is. Anyways, you keep asking everyone, “Why The Office is so popular now?” and I think that it is because it is so comforting and warm. For me, it feels like home. I am a freshman in college, away from home, and when I turn on The Office, I feel like I am home. It makes me feels safe, loved and worry free, almost like how a child feels. It feels how nostalgia feels. It’s kind of hard to put into words of how The Office makes me feel, but it just does something to me.

The bosseyJessica SzohrI love this podcast every week, but I’m currently listening to Jessica Szohr while eating my breakfast at home in MENOMONEE FALLS! I knew she is from here, but It was so awesome to hear my town come out of Brian’s mouth! I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica many years ago and she is the real deal!
-
steve_1969_GrayGreat PodI love this podcast. I’m a huge Office fan, and this podcast doesn’t disappoint.
-
Floyd T BNew format will work if…..Brian’s off to a good start. Unlike The Office podcast, he doesn’t share a common background with his guests so that’s going to give him the chance to become a great interviewer versus someone who has to jump in all the time to tell his version of the story, like Conan. Keep it up Brian! Be a great listener, ask lots of insightful questions and all will go well.
-
Littlelisa 98New showLoving the new format of the show.. you have the best podcast voice. And since you asked about guest recommendations… I would love Henry Winkler. He’s still rocking sitcoms. Great show. Can’t wait for next week.
