My very favorite religious podcast. But really, I love my time with my two favorite sisters. I laugh out loud throughout every episode. The goosiest girls I know.

This really makes it obvious how I’m a 35 year old with the heart of an 80 year old - but MCP is my very first podcast. I BINGED 2.5 years worth of episodes, which was amazingly fun, and I am FINALLY caught up so am now leaving a review! What a journey it’s been and can I just say, there’s something for EVERYONE in this podcast. From laughs and silly goosery to more serious convos about important subjects, this pod has it alllllll. And being a twin sis, I just LOVE the rapport and bantering between Michaela and Hunter. They do an awesome job balancing raw and real yet also hilarious. This pod has made me want to listen to more, but I have a feeling it’ll remain my favorite one! Thanks for putting out funny, real content while keeping it non-judgemental and motivating. You girls are TRULY unique and a real dynamic duo; keep it up!

My husband and I moved to another state last year and I’ve been struggling to find friends, as they’re all back in my home state. Listening to Model Citizen makes me feel like I’m right smack dab in the middle of a conversation with my girlfriends and is a shining light in my life every week. I really enjoyed and loved this podcast. How genuine and honest they are! However… the way they tore apart little mermaid… comes across very racist. It’s a live action remake it’s not going to be like the cartoon. It’s really unfortunately they have now come off that way by tearing the movie apart when it is a huge part of moving inclusivity forward.

I absolutely LOVE this podcast. Literally look forward to it all week and save it up for a special treat during busy weeks!! I just relate so much to their content and absolutely loooove the humor. I’m in my thirties and just became a mom so I relate to hunter sooo much, and absolutely love michaela’s stories, and the amazing rapport the two sisters have. Definitely my all time fav podcast, and also the only podcast I’ve left a review for. Goosin’ forever!

I listen to this podcast literally nonstop from the moment I peel open my eyeballs in the morning to the moment I unpeel them at night. You make me laugh in the best way possible with all of your relatable and hilarious stories. I love you two so much! And you have both helped me so much in my self love journey. I’m 17, and only became curvy in the past few years after recovering from anorexia. It’s been hard to adjust to my new body, but hearing about gorgeous Hunter’s journey from straight sized to plus sized has helped me so much!! You guys are the best and my life is so much better with your voices in it! PS Michaela you are also a jaw on the floor stunner 😍

Literally love listening to these ladies. They have both played a huge part in my journey of loving myself for exactly who I am. This is a place of love, sarcasm, laughter and above all else, acceptance.

Not me binging the entire podcast in mere weeks and then being absolutely, gut-wrenchingly devastated as I toggle the “unplayed” and “played” filters on and off because I can’t have possibly finished 100 episodes so quickly before realizing that yes..YES.. I have, in fact, listened to 100 episodes. Will I fall apart without a new episode every hour? Yes undoubtedly. Do I also think Michaela is the most gorgeous human on the planet? Yes 100%. I guess all I can do is find comfort in Michaela’s beauty as I cry in between episodes.

I have tried before to listen to podcasts and thought I just wasn’t a fan. Thankfully, I found Hunter and Michaela! My best friend passed away four years ago and this has been the first time I’ve felt like I’m enjoying girl talk again. Thanks ladies for bringing fun conversation back into my life!!

Dude. DUDE. I’m gonna jump right in. (IYKYK) Growing up in the 90’s/early 2000’s in CA did a number on my body image. I am HERE for the movement of plus size bodies being not only accepted, but PRAISED and appreciated. Hunter and Michaela have been instrumental in helping me and so many other people get to a healthier place mentally about weight/body image, as well as challenging fat-phobia that is literally everywhere. Their hilarious banter makes you feel like you are chilling right there with them—every Thursday you get to be a part of their exclusive sister’s club. No topic is off limits for them—they discuss anything and everything in this breezy, sometimes sarcastic, always honest way that will make you laugh incessantly. Just listen already!

Michaela and Hunter are real life angels on earth. I have followed both on social media for some time and have been listening to Model citizen religiously every week since episode 1. It is the best way to start my Thursday morning and wish I could get ready with them every day. You girls are a TRUE inspiration and have helped me through so much. My sister and I talk about how we wish we could hang out with you and be real life friends Love you and thank you for all you do and represent.

Every time I listen to Model Citizen I feel like I’m chillin’ with my girls chatting it up. I look forward to Thursdays and even re-listen to episodes just to get my fix in mid week. These girls “dive right in” to topics that most people shy away from, but they take them head on and make you realize you aren’t the only one dealing with these “taboo” topics. Thank you girls for being such a positive light in the world. You have helped me become more confident in who I am and loving the body I have. When I start to criticize my body I think, “What would the McGrady sisters say?” I cannot say enough how much I love this podcast and what an inspiration these girls are.

I recently heard an episode where either McKayla or Hunter said their audience started at age 15. Well, I am 41 going on 42 and I LOVE this podcast. They make me laugh until my belly hurts and I can relate to them in so many ways. They keep it real and lighthearted at the same time. No matter your age this podcast is for you!

Some episodes just GET me man. Sometimes I cry with you, sometimes I chuckle, sometimes I’m straight up wheezing with tears falling. I was just sitting at my desk trying to work listening to Michaela’s broken ankle story and I was wheezing like Zach Galifianakis in Dinner for Schmucks. My boyfriend woke up came out of the bedroom and was like “….are you okay? 👀” no sir, I’m not okay. Because I’m pretty sure we’re probably soul mates and this is the extent of our friendship.

My sister told me to listen to Model Citizen months ago... I can't believe it took me so long. Hunter and Michaela are the BEST. Listening to them reminds me of hanging out and goofing around with my own sis... singing songs, making funny voices, going on random tangents. We are from the same generation as Hunter and Michaela so all the cultural references and nostalgia are on POINT. Also love that they talk about relatable and important topics. The Model Citizen podcast is truly a bright spot in my week. As a healthcare worker, times are persistently tough and finding small moments of joy and laughter are critical. My toughest day of the week tends to be Thursdays, when a new MC podcast is released each week. I can say that knowing a new episode will be released on my hardest days has genuinely helped me make it through those days. These women are bright, bold, and make me belly laugh in a way that very few other forms of media are capable of. More than that, their bond as sisters is heartwarming and their support of all women shines through. I feel good about me when I tune in, and that’s a super cool thing. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for who you are and what you do!
