Listened to a couple episodes and then heard her comment that Regan was responsible for the space shuttle disaster and he was her favorite villain. I don’t have an opinion either way on Regan but didn’t sign up to hear hers.

I love Bailey Sarian and faithfully listen to her show every Wednesday. However, as time has gone on somebody has decided it’s an excellent idea to place ads mid sentence. It’s so frustrating and greedy I will no longer be listening via Apple. Hopefully it’s better on Spotify or YouTube.

I have enjoyed this podcast in the past but the ads are getting to be too much. Especially when they are so poorly edited in. If you’re going to monetize MY listening experience then at least edit better so ads are cutting in mid-sentence. I have reached my threshold of ads and can’t listen anymore.

Sorry, did not enjoy the incomplete facts or details of this history podcast. Seems to hurry through details, though I only listened to three, while trying to add humor, voices, and sound affects. Voice is a bit raspy and not to smooth. The individual has potential but, needs to refine her technique.

Bailey Sarien is amazing at teaching us history. I listen to this podcast any time that I need to focus on a task. Her voice is so soothing! Bailey can you please do a Dark History on Huey Long a former governor of Louisiana? I grew up in Louisiana and took Louisiana history and his corruption was sort of glossed over because he did good overall. I really want to know the truth!

Some episodes are entertaining & enjoyable, as long as white people stay out of history . If ole whitey makes an appearance then know they are the worst & only whitey has dark history. So keep a look out because ole whitey could pop in at any time & get them all

I learned a lot about old mental asylums in the US as part of my ABA training, I would love to hear an episode on them things got pretty dark. Love the pod, always tuning in to hear that old hot gossip.

I’ve always loved listening to Dark History and watching her YouTube series. However, the ads for the podcast are ridiculous. I was catching up on podcasts today while doing chores and it’s been the same ad over and over. And they’re getting to be extremely ill timed. It’s ruining the flow of the podcast and making it un-enjoyable to listen to.

Dark History makes complex subjects easy to understand and relate to. I love learning new things and hearing the show’s take on things I’m familiar with. Fun, funny, and informative.

This used to be one of my favorite podcasts. I still do love the content. I don’t mind ads in podcasts usually but the new ad format is horrible. I miss when Bailey would read the ads. They’re now so loud and abrasive I can’t listen to the podcast anymore. I would pay to avoid the new obnoxious ad format.

I love how Bailey tells a story. She digs into the details without getting lost in them. I’ve learned so much here. Also, pretty suspicious how DuPont Chemical and Monsanto keep popping up in so many dark stories.

I love listening to you! It’s always so fascinating to learn things you thought you knew! I love history and I love learning about our crazy history. You should do an episode on cruise ships! I bet there is a lot of crazy stuff there! Thanks!

I enjoy Bailey's, the host's, sense of humor and her content. I have learned a few things I wasn't aware of from this podcast too. This podcast is both informative and entertaining. I just listened to an episode about Sister Rosetta and her influence on Rock and Roll. Right now, I'm getting ready to find out more about her. Thanks so much. UPDATE. I continue to listen to every episode and love this podcast. I also listen Bailey's excellent Murder, Mystery and Makeup but Dark History is my favorite between the two. UPDATE: Bailey continues to provide great content, with stories that many have t heard before because they have not been overdone.

You know, I’ve never been a fan of history. But this interpretation of dark events that have happened in America keeps me entertained until the last second of each episode! I love the attitude, the jokes, the tone of voice depending on the foretelling of events. Great job! Ads completely ruin it. Too loud, in the middle of sentences, and placed every five minutes…not even an exaggeration… and they are long. Not listenable, really. Which is a shame. Seems like it could have been good.

I LOVE this podcast. I listen to it at work. However… why are the ads so much louder than the actual show? Sometimes I can’t even hear her and have to turn my headphones all the way up and then an ad comes on and my hearing is shot. I’ve tried this with a lot of different headphones so please fix that.

I’ve recently discovered Bailey and her talents as a story teller… now, I’m not usually a true crime fan however, with the lovely Bailey telling the story I’m enthusiastically entrenched in the stories!..well done Bailey!!!

I love the way Bailey tells a story and makes it interesting. The stories seem to be well researched and written. It’s so hard to listen to because there’s an ad every 5 minutes. Not only that but more often than not they’re inserted mid sentence. The story just starts getting going and th- HERE’S AN AD. I tried and hoped it would get better but I can’t listen anymore.

This podcaster has a great personality and knows how to tell a story. Very interesting and entertaining.

I love Bailey! Her episodes are so entertaining and they keep me captivated in the story! BUT the biggest issues is when suddenly a AD comes blaring on louder than her actual voice/her volume. She doesn’t even pause for an AD break she just tosses the AD in mid sentence. I wish I could pay for AD free but I have bills to pay🥲. I don’t mind the ADs but why not pause for a AD break or NOT just blare an AD mid sentence? Seriously why is the AD way more louder than Bailey? It’s ridiculous, and putting on a AD mid sentence/word? Seriously? I love this show and I recommend it to anyone…who can pay for AD free otherwise don’t bother🙁.
