    Thank you, Lucy!
What a gorgeous addition to the abundance of thoughtful, enlightening, impactful, long-form interview podcasts with women hosts (Kate, Kelly, Maya, Anna, Nora…) each of whom bring her own unique perspectives and styles. Lucy, you bring great depth and sensitivity to each interview, you never “get in the way” of your guest, and always leave me much to think about. “On Mortality and Meaning” was brilliant and indelible. It is beautiful that you pay homage to Paul by including poetry at the end of each episode. Thank you for this podcast.

    Joy & Truth
Beautiful podcast with fascinating conversations. Love the poetry at the end. If you are wary because the topics sound depressing, don’t be, the wisdom of Lucy and her guests will leave you uplifted.

    Soothing and Enlightening!
I feel like this whole podcast is an epilogue of When Breath Becomes Air, which is great because I loved that book! Lucy’s voice is so calming and soothing. The content is always so honest and raw too. There is no fear of being vulnerable, which for me, makes it more relatable. I love it! Episode 6, you guys! Cady reading Paul’s words. So beautiful!

    Wonderful, perhaps life-changing insights
I love the way this podcast looks at hard things in unusual ways. This in turn empowers listeners to think about and embrace a wider, richer, more fulfilling repertoire of responses to hardship. I’m so grateful for this beautiful podcast.

Earnest and smart, waiting eagerly for more
Loved loved the first two episodes Can’t wait to get more from Lucy I had read her writing previously - as well as the writing from her first two guests. But having them in conversation, very well thought out conversation & dynamic - was a joy. I can’t wait for future episodes. The poem with each podcast read by a different not-guest is also excellent. I love how Lucy shared how important poetry is to her each time. Thankyou for putting this out there and please keep making it :)

    Exceptional
I’m a 2-3 hour a day podcast listener (at 2x speed) so listen to a LOT of podcasts. My favorites are This American Life, Making Sense, Anthropocene Reviewed, Reply All, Invisibilia, You’re Wrong About and now Gravity. What an incredible perspective and take on life’s greatest challenges. Lucy is calm and eloquent and insightful and honest. Give it a try, you will love it

    Soothing, Insightful and Real
I was eager to hear more of Lucy’s voice after reading her epilogue in Paul Kalanithi’s memoir, and her podcast is so thoughtful. Her perspectives are woven into the interview material, and I love the inclusion of a poem at the end. I can’t wait to hear more episodes.

Mindset as a pathway to resilience
I am a non trad premed cancer widow and autoimmune patient currently applying to medical school after a long career working in film. “How do I get through this” has been a constant throughout my life. I was delighted to hear Dr. Kalanathi’s calm voice talking about this in the intro to this podcast. I look forward to many more whole hearted and insightful episodes. Highly recommended!
