I haven’t found much podcast-format fiction I really enjoy, but this one is a winner! I just binged the first 5 episodes and can’t wait to find out if the next episodes are as good! And although I do think it’s a perfect story for one of the streaming services to make into a limited series, experiencing it as a podcast was awesome because I could binge without shifting to couch potato mode. I got all my “chores” done while listening via bluetooth ear buds, so no guilt and no snack food hangover.

This is a good podcast if you enjoy science fiction/horror. I guess I’m hard core because I read other reviews saying it was scary/creepy, and I thought it was enjoyable but not edge of your seat by any means. The accents could be a lot better. One thing that I thought was ridiculous was Reed in the mausoleum. Why? How did that move the plot line along? Other than that, this podcast kept my attention and I went through it in 2 days.

The story, acting and sound design are incredible. These are some talented folks!

I listen to a lot of podcasts while working. With that being said this podcast is by far the best story I have come across! If I could rate this 20 stars I would.

This podcast was really gripping and I ended up binging it in a single day. It’s really well produced and executed and the voice actors have some great moments. The first few episodes were pretty scary but by end it had devolved into such a melodrama that it removed any element of fear for me. My issue with this podcast is that it establishes characters w/ distinct personalities but by the end, their actions and motives are so random that it was hard to even tell who was saying what. Plus the dialogue all has the same snarky tone where it’s obvious each character was written by the same person

Pretty good. The only thing that I did not like was the voice of one character. Don’t want to say which one,don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Just started, but the sound production and voice acting is lit.

I am not normally a podcast listener not do I listen to scary stories, but I absolutely hooked. Each episode is quite gripping and just when you think you know what is happening there is something else that keeps me listening and anticipating the next week’s episode. I actually listened to the second through fourth episode back to back and that got me hooked very quickly. I was listening to a book as well while driving on a vacation and definitely preferred the podcast. Very well written story and the sound affects are superbly executed. Very good actors chosen and the young girl, who plays, Jocelyn is magnificent. I encourage everyone to give it a try and definitely listen in the dark. It makes it even more awesome!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Crypt TV and their catalogue of monsters, but was unsure of how it would translate to a podcast story. Turns out, is didn't need to worry, as it works very well! The voice acting is strong, the characters are interesting, and even just an episode and a half in and they are already expanding on the lore and mystery surrounding the Mordeo! Highly recommend to any audio horror fan!

Incredible, understated performances, great production value. One of the best horror podcasts I’ve ever heard!

Immersive, easy to follow, no serious plot pop-outs that dump you out of the story, and the sound quality is phenomenal! One added bonus - its set in West Virginia, just a stone’s throw from here so I’m loving the added creep factor.

I’m one episode in and hooked! Cant wait to see where this goes.

Just finished the first episode and am ready for the next! It’s like listening to an audiobook you can’t binge. You instantly get a good sense of the characters and are ready to find out what happened “out there.”

So good. Smart, elegantly put together, and super immersive. This is definitely the new wave of audio story telling and I LOVE IT!

Haunting storytelling, beautifully done, particularly loved the music!

I like the brothers aspect of this podcast. And the twist at the end of season 1. Hope the mystery ramps up a little more.

No spoilers but a cool new horror icon in the making with hints at a lore that makes me wish I could see this as a TV show already and I only listened to episode 1. (All that’s out right now.)

I literally jumped while listening. Horror junkies will love!

Mordeo is really a gripping drama. Normally scripted podcasts bore me after a few minutes....not this show! The sound design is wonderful but it’s really the characters that bring me in.
