nucuplmnjuyhVita and VirginiaVW had had other attractions before Vita, so no, she didn’t have internalized homophobia and she didn’t denigrate Vita. She was famously precise in her words and besides this was in her diary. There are loads of quotes from her that show admiration and love and desire and respect. Also: one, the Bloomsbury circle wasn’t snobbish and backstabbing like you described. And two: they did go to out together, to parties, to Cambridge for lectures, to Yorkshire for the eclipse, to France. There was no social restraint that kept them apart. There a good bit of speculation in your episode, about many things.

Aileen -My new favorite podcastI’m really enjoying your podcast. I stumbled on it by accident. I’m glad I did! Please, do teo podcast one on Sonny and Cher, especially one with her and Gregg Allman.

BiancaAmesYour Best BreakupThese two are so clever! They make learning about celebrity couples through the ages feel more like social anthropology than gossip - whilst being so, so funny. This podcast is my new favorite. So proud to share a star sign with Chantal AND Cher, and hope to wake up one day with Grainne’s charming, mesmerizing accent!

heartbreaking and realAmazing!!I love this podcast. It’s the best idea for one I’ve heard in such a long time. The research is wonderful, and even when I don’t know a couple I’m still excited to listen since the deep dives are informative and so funny, especially with the other hosts and guests commentary. It so deserves to be one of the top podcasts- thank you for creating it!
