    Books are great
and June Thomas makes everyone of them better.

    Always delightful
I find that June does such a through job of preparation for the podcast, that she is able to ask questions that are both insightful and interesting. Even though, unreviewed, many of the books would have been of marginal interest to me, her interviews illuminate the compelling aspects of the books in a manner that I can best categorize as both delightul and informative.

    Great host
Loved June on the culture gabfest. She is a great host. I have no interest in some of these books but June still puts on a great show.

    Great podcast!
By far one of my favorite podcasts. As a runner, I'm always looking for podcasts to play along with my runs. I've taken June on many runs lately and the miles fly by listening to her intelligent interviews on subjects I had not thought I was even interested in. So glad to have this show to add to my playlist.

    June Thomas!
June is such a wry and thoughtful interlocutor -- a pleasure to hear her engage with authors in this sustained way.

    Love June Thomas
Loved June Thomas whenever she appeared on other Slate Podcasts. Now she hosts her own show and does it right. One guest talks about a recent non-fiction book and spends enough time to go beyond the short summary available on some other podcasts.

    All hail June Thomas
A great podcast idea, perfectly executed. Thomas is the best companion a curious listener could wish to have. She's an appealingly shrewd interlocutress who also manages to be funny, generous, and pleasant. I wish the podcast was released more frequently!

    First rate!
This podcast manages to be elegantly produced, informative, engaging, and occasionally downright silly all at once. Kudos for a brilliant beginning (2 podcasts so far)! I can't wait for more!

June and boooks - the perfect podcast
June's Thomas podcast is intelligent, entertaining, informative, thought-provoking, and funny. But I would listen to it even if it were none of those things, just for the chance to hear June say the word "boook." Or is it "bouke"? The only way to improve it would be to make it at least ten minutes longer and twice as frequent.

    Great Podcast!
Loved the first podcast! June kept it moving and asked great questions. It was funny and interesting and yes, too short. I can't wait to hear more.

    June is fabulous
This podcast is a great addition to the Slate lineup. Wish it was a bit longer--seems like the interview was just getting going--but still worth a subscription. June is great in the other Slate podcasts, wonderful to see her get her own! Hope this is a weekly event.
