    My favorite ❤️
I absolutely love this podcast! I started listening last year and I’ve learned so much since then. I really enjoyed the recent podcast with @thereadystate (Kelly and Julie Starrett). I’m a physical therapist so I really connected with what they were saying. Dr. Foucher is a wonderful host and is so knowledgeable!

    Pursuing Health
Dr. Foucher does a beautiful job bridging the gap between fitness and medicine on this podcast. Really loved the episode with Dr. Terry Wahls about her struggles with MS and depression. Hearing about her courageous journey to treat the debilitating symptoms she suffered with progressive MS and her book and cookbook, The Wahls Protocol®—A Radical New Way to Treat All Chronic Autoimmune Conditions Using Paleo Principles to help others reclaim their own health was simply amazing. Thanks to both these amazing doctors!

    A little less “mmhmm”
Could just be my issue. I love Julie and her podcast. Especially on the Dr aviva romm podcast was very distracted by Julie loudly agreeing every 15-20 seconds it took away from what the guest had to share

    Inspired. Real. Relevant
A deeper understanding of holistic wellness and the mind-body connection than I have ever experienced. Highly recommended.

Champion on and off the Floor
It’s been amazing watching Dr. Foucher as both a CrossFit admirer and a Wild Health Fellow, and observing the emerging confluence of both areas could not be more beautifully exemplified. Congratulations, Dr. Foucher, on creating a wonderful platform to demonstrate the future of healthcare, rooted in prevention and wellness.

    Great hosting and fantastic guests!
I love how Julie summarizes the podcast major points at the end. This is a great feature of her approach. She is up there with Oprah in terms of interviewing guests. My wife and I really enjoyed the podcast with Eric Roza. He came across as, not only passionate about CrossFit, but also just a good friendly honest passionate guy. I’ve never done CrossFit but this makes me when I try. Also loved the podcast with Johnny Diaz and his wife!

    CrossFit Meets Evidence-Based Medicine
This is hands-down one of my favorite podcasts out there! Julie does a fantastic job of hosting CrossFit athletes, physicians, and everyday people who provide great insights and personal experiences related to health, fitness, and personal development. I recommend this to everyone who is interested in medicine, fitness, and holistic health. Do yourself a favor and subscribe to the Pursuing Health podcast!

I learn so much listening to this show!
I have been introduced to so many new ways to look at life and how I take care of myself. I came for the athlete interviews but am so pleased to have actual professionals introduce new ideas. It’s not all athletes and not all medical topics, lifestyle seems to be the theme that has hooked me.

Great Combo of Wellness, Fitness and Medicine!
I love that the hosts are medical doctors with cross-fit competition experience. They have great guests, likable personalities, and do a good job of explaining concepts in a simple way. This is a great source of information to understand health from a truly wholistic approach. Highly recommend this podcast!

    Cant say enough GOOD things!
I cant say enough good things about Julie, and this podcast. She is an excellent interviewer, the medical interviews and episodes give people the chance to be proactive, preventive and educated about their health and she has excellent guests. I love this podcast. Even more so as a CF coach and new mama focused on my forever health

    Great info and details...
I love the fact that these folks are supportive of the CrossFit mentality and programming. Definitely believe these practitioners provide unbiased opinions and data on their subject matter. One suggestion I have is to place the episode # more prominently in the written description. I’m new to their program and when they make a suggestion to listen to a prior episode, I have difficulty finding them. Thanks for the great program- highly recommend!

    Great Perspective Overall
Dr Foucher is a natural at allowing her guest to truly share. She doesn’t smother guest point of view and allows for conversations to happen organically. This podcast isn’t all about Crossfit - I feel like it’s more of a healthy and balanced perspective in life. Great work Doc!
  • Pro-prokaryote
    great podcast
The host is a driven and intelligent medical professional and she interviews wonderful guests ranging from fellow cross-fitters to nutritionists to scientists. I always come away with new information thanks to the sharp host. Great podcast!

    Crossfit Propaganda
I used to enjoy this podcast. Now Julie is more busy with work, and I feel like she goes to the Crossfit Games and gets a lot of shows in the can and then releases them later. The show used to involve more researchers, etc. Now it is just people within the Crossfit machine. Which gets to my next point. It would be really nice to occasionally hear from someone that may have a differing opinion. Julie seems focused on brining in people that will confirm her and CrossFit’s beliefs/bias. There is too much amazing actual research going on for such a slanted Crossfit perspective. Challenging Crossfit on some of their conclusions would only benefit Crossfit in the long run. They and Julie should stop being so opposed to such challenges.

Thanks Julie! Your podcasts are terrific. As a fellow MD who’s pretty new (but addicted) to CrossFit I really get a lot out of your interviews. Keep up the great work!

    I Finally Joined the Party
I’ve had this podcast on my radar since it’s debut bud had yet to hit the play button until this week...and I just binged on the 3 most recent episodes. My only question: What was I doing with my life?!?? Not just great commentary but endless amounts of information I can use to better myself, my family, my business (Fairwinds CrossFit), my clients and everything else in the world around me. Always loved Julie as an athlete and this podcast has taken it to a whole new level...not in a weird way. Thanks for the great content and I can’t wait to hear more.

“I’m now officially a doctor” but...
Episode 97 with Thomas Seyfried was irresponsible. absolutely infuriating. His inflammatory statements are so offensive it’s almost laughable. And by the way you interact with this quack, it’s clear you’ve become a follower of this false prophet. The experts over complicate things? Really? This “expert” DOES NOT TREAT PATIENTS. YOU DO. I’m a general surgery resident and I take care of cancer patients every day. You’re telling me you’d recommend metabolic therapy alone to a woman with breast cancer? With no surgery, no endocrine therapy, no radiation? This MUST be a joke. That’s the only way I can reconcile the absurdity of this man’s cavalier attitude and your enthusiastic assent to broadcast this nonsense.

    Excellent Podcast
This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. It offers a range of different perspectives and life lessons from athletes and coaches that are some of the best in the fitness space. Julie and her guests keep the show lighthearted and the content is always engaging. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested in improving their mind and body.

Good podcast, way too much advertising up front
Good interviews, I like the podcast, but WAY too much time spent up front on advertisements and promos, like 8 minutes per episode. Enjoy when the actual podcast starts though, but the up front credits portion is too much.

    JF is a podcasting rockstar!
JF brings her passion for fitness and health to us via the PH podcast. She is a former CF games athlete, a doctor, and does a great job hosting the pod.
  • Meesh0851
    Love it!
I absolutely love how she lets her guests tell their story, and she asks interesting and probing questions. We really get to know them, their personalities, and their inspiring stories! I wish she would do an episode where someone interviews her - maybe her husband?? so we can get to know both of them better as well! Keep it up!

Love your pod cast-some of the background noise in the Carleen interview was super distracting...almost irritating. Love the people you talk to though.

    Great.
Continue with the interesting guests and content (interview style etc.). Good job at staying true to health and people versus the money thrown at physicians to back unnecessary "things".

A podcast with something for everyone
Huge fan of Julie Foucher as an athlete, physician, and podcaster! She interviews a great cross-section of individuals from all kinds of backgrounds and philosophies. The most recent interview with Austin Malleolo has been one of my absolute favorites (and I have a LOT of episodes saved because they're all so good). Keep up the great work, Julie!!
