    Where are the missing episodes?
Only the last few episodes are currently available. Some of the earliest episodes are among the best. Why did they disappear? I still have them on an old iPad but cannot get them transferred to my current iPad.

    Fantastic Podcast
I love this podcast. The description of the Largo Argentina,(Pompey’s Theatre) was especially compelling. I’ve been there, and to actually be at the site of Julius Caesar’s assassination was astounding; it brings history to life. The podcast’s description was perfect, down to the cats, which are everywhere! Matt and his guests are the next best thing to being there. Thank You

Thank you for being a great source of information in a light, fun, interesting way! Very professional and still, feels like we are listening in to a conversation between nice people! Great way to travel during this time of lockdown! Looking forward to the next episode.

    Great Podcast!
This podcast is always easy to listen to and quite informative. I like learning about ancient Rome but do not want a very heavy, academic lecture to listen to. This podcast presents information in a lighter, more accessible way.

Another gem by Matt Smith and the La Trobe University team. I like Matt's hosting style and the conversations with a diverse group of historians. I always look forward to new episodes coming out. Keep up the good work!

Great podcast, where are the other episodes?
Really enjoy listening to this podcast. It’s in a more casual style but the host and guests always have a solid plan for what they’re talking about. Excited to see new episodes are being produced. It seems like this is about 30 episodes into the series, it’d be great to see the other episodes added to apple podcasts

    Cue the Music
Sometimes, out of nowhere, I’ll find myself singing the “When in Rome” intro. It’s the perfect little tune to start such an entertaining and informative podcast. As a person who will probably never get to visit, the tour of Pompeii has been everything I’ve ever wished for. Really great listen!

Concise, informative and entertaining episodes on all things Roman. This is history at its best- all facts and no ideology. Highly recommended.

A fabulous companion to Emperors of Rome
I had the base layer of Rome knowledge from secondary school, but I owe my renewed interest in the subject to Matt Smith and Dr. Evans. They do fabulous work.

    I Really Love This One
If you're a fan of Roman history, you will probably be a fan of this podcast. It takes you to the places where history was memorialized by the Romans and their successors. I try to save episodes up so that I may binge listen but I find I just can't do it. I cannot wait and I have to listen to the next episode as soon as one is released.
