So Happy This Podcast is back!
After a 20 months hiatus, I was so pleased to see that Natalie Lue has started up her podcast again. Natalie Lue’s unpretentious self-awareness, and wonderful ability to share her experiences and insights made her podcast the one I really look forward to listen to each week. She has a world class personality that leaves you wanting more, and I wonder if she knows that. If you are a person that suffers from unhealthy relationship patterns (especially people pleasing) I encourage you to give this podcast a listen. I’ve gained so many insights on myself by listening to her.

Really Appreciate Natalie & this Podcast
I just entered my 30s and have felt like I’ve lived my entire life not truly knowing who I am. Natalie’s podcast has helped me in asking all the tough questions to myself that make me think about who I am. I am newly single and after many “failed” relationships it’s helpful to take a step back and really look at them from a mature perspective in recognizing my part in allowing those relationships to develop longer than they should have. Very appreciative for the self-reflection and improvement this podcast has sparked.

I wish it was available in Spanish
I’ve been listening to her podcast for the last 2 years and read a couple of her books and can’t wait for her new release!! Her advise in general has allowed me to open up my perspective about life in general. I have shared some of her episodes and books with my cousin but I wish I could share her episodes with my sisters and friends in Mexico they would appreciate her advice. Have you thought of translating your books in Spanish? Thank you 🤗

    Thank you
What a wonderful podcast that has impacted me tremendously! I’ve only been in 4 adult relationships, none working out for me, and learned that all I can do is own my life- my boundaries, my needs, my world views and values and never betray myself for someone else. I remember a quote that said “do not light yourself on fire just to keep someone warm…” well that is the moral of my love story. At the same time, open my heart and shoot for the moon, but if I miss my shot at long term love the way I see it, I will reach among the stars! Thanks Natalie Lue!

    Baggage reclaim
I came upon baggage reclaim ten years ago after a major breakup. It’s not that I didn’t have support in my life; there were caring people around me, but they really didn’t understand the bigger picture (the fact that there are predictable patterns to emotionally unavailable relationships, and they lead to a fairly predictable array of terrible emotions.) The Baggage Reclaim blog turned my life around by making actual sense of my experience, rather than just viewing it as one isolated traumatic event. A major loss brought me to the podcast years later. Yet again, listening was like coloring in the spaces in the ink sketch of my experience. I’ve recommended Baggage Reclaim to many, and no doubt to many more to come.

Helpful Guide to Analyze Baggage, Make Wiser Decisions
I really appreciate the advice and insights gained from this show. I consume a lot of media that falls in the self-help and psychology genres and find Nat’s podcast ties together thoughts in ways I’ve not experienced before. Absolute Essential for Personal Growth & Accountability
Natalie Lue has been a voice of wisdom and mindfulness in my life since 2010. She does an amazing job of explaining the things we feel about ourselves and how those feelings translate into actions/affect our behavior and attitudes in every environment. I’ve recommended her podcast more than any other one out there. It’s like having a sister who’s been there, done that and wants you to make better decisions for yourself. Absolute godsend.

    Life changing
I have been listening to baggage reclaim since 2019 and it Natalie’s perspective has changed my life for the better . Her words and insight aren’t just broad and narrow minded messages that I was used to hearing in the self care arena. She has amazing insight that attempts to hit all angles, angles that I had never considered. She brings you back to the core and helps you know and understand your patterns . 10/10 You will become more of true yourself if you listen with an open heart and mind to Nat lue !

Unrivaled Public Access Healing & Advocacy
Dear Nat : few shows can relate to the many ways being a whole person on many intersections of experience makes a simple life hard. Thank you for being a free and consistent source of healing process during years I was recovering from a brain injury and being direct with my family about the harmful ways I was raised as a mixed race & queer child. Amazing work. Thanks for blessing this world with your graceful and informed analyses (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))♡.

    Life-changing!
I don’t consume a lot of self-help, but over the decades I’ve read a fair number of the most popular and classic sources. The Baggage Reclaim podcast and blog have helped me far more than anything else in the field I’ve ever found. I was looking for insight on dealing with a manipulative person when I first encountered Natalie’s blog. I had literally Googled my issue and one of Natalie’s blog posts was the second thing that came up. Her post enlightened me that my problem was boundaries — which I hadn’t realized— and told me exactly what to do about it. She was spot-on! Problem solved! I was absolutely stunned, and went on to read more and listen to the podcasts, first just about boundaries and then about relationships. It’s been life-changing. Thank you, Natalie, for sharing your hard-won wisdom with such clarity and generosity. These are things many of us are sadly not taught, which leads to needless confusion and pain. I only wish I had found this material earlier.

It feels like personal therapy sessions
The Baggage Reclaim Sessions is very insightful. I love that each episode is understanding some kind of love, whether that’s for partners, family, or self love. It’s like an hour of therapy each time I listen to her even if it doesn’t totally relate to me. Keep them coming!

Like getting the best pep talk from your BFF
This podcast is not for the faint of heart — Natalie Lue gives the tough love advice you need to hear and keep in your arsenal of self-help tools. I love how honest and open she is about her own experiences and anxieties. I trust her insight not only because I agree with her (and I do most often agree with her) but because she has “done the work” and is willing to be vulnerable and admit that it’s not always easy. I highly recommended her blog for years and now recommend the podcast. Thank you, Ms. Lue!

    Life changing advice
I found Natalie‘s Baggage Reclaim blog several years ago when I was going through a divorce. Reading about her personal story and considering her pointed and no nonsense advice was a game changer for me and helped me crawl out of a deep depression and boost my crumbling self confidence. Her podcast adds the bonus of listening to her voice dole out her wise words. I like to imagine I’m sitting down with my best friend, talking about relationships over a cup of tea. Every single episode has given me something important to consider about romantic relationships, work ethics, family issues, and friendship. Keep them coming, Natalie! ❤️

Things that make you go hmmm
Nat Lue rocks. Her keen insight, relatable anecdotes, and soothing voice makes every episode insightful and revelatory. It seems that the topics she chooses often align with something I’m thinking about or experiencing. Listening to her sage advice over the past 3 years has helped me learn so much about myself, my relationship patterns and how to align my life with my values. I can’t wait to continue growing with Nat, who feels like my older, wise sister. I can’t recommend her enough!!

    Validating and moving you forward.
As someone else said, “She just knows.” Anybody looking for some acknowledgement and normalization on a bad break-up will find that here, listening to Nat Lue. As one continues to listen, though, she brings up major thinking moments to address internal scripts or perceptions that either play hand-in-hand or alongside why one chose to partner up with that bad break-up in the first place. Great podcast and I recommend hands-down. Make sure you have pen & paper when your “you who” moments pop up to ponder later🤔.

SHE JUST KNOWS ALL THE THINGS.
I listen to Nat all the time, but especially when I’m having a hard understanding why I’m feeling conflicted about a situation or a relationship. She offers up the words that you can’t always access when you’re in the middle of your own stuff.

So glad to find the podcast!
You have been on my radar since I somehow first found you so many years ago! Probably 2013-14? I bought your books, started reading the blog, and you taught me so much. Well, I went back to that crazy relationship several more times before finally ending it. I just listened to Ep. 169 and it was my life! Still dealing with fallout. You came back in podcast form at just the right time. Thank you! 🖤

A catalyst for change if you’re willing.
If I could recommend only one podcast to help change your relationship to yourself and others for the best, it would be Baggage Reclaim. I got out of an ambiguous relationship at the beginning of this year with an emotionally unavailable person and I realized I WAS ALSO EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE. Go figure. I did a Google and stumbled upon Natalie Lue’s website and podcast and got the ball rolling on a truly transformative year. With Natalie’s help, I’ve learned so much about myself and have been able to attach words to feelings and situations that we lee once indescribable. Not gonna lie, it was hard to listen at the beginning because I knew I’d learn something new and uncomfortable about myself in each episode (Natalie pulls no punches), but after a few months of dedicating myself to pressing play and doing other self-work simultaneously, it became easier. Baggage Reclaim has changed my life. Thank you for your work, Natalie!

    Insight for Tumultuous Times
Whether I’m arguing with my partner, struggling with my anxiety, having difficulty balancing feeling guilt over bad friends and wanting to “break up” with BAD friends, Nat seems to help me navigate my sails through tumultuous times. I love the insight she taps into in a non-judgmental, and in extremely empathetic ways. Not to mention that I love her voice and accent (an accent to me since I’m from Los Angeles and say “like” every other word). Whether you are having trouble “people pleasing” and putting other’s wants over your basic needs and basic boundaries, whether you can’t seem to understand why that friend of yours can’t seem to just step up and be a real grounded supportive person, or whether you’re just looking for a way into understanding some of the random guilt, random fear, random social anxieties that pop up once in a while, The Baggage Reclaim Sessions with Natalie Lue is amazing and for You.

    Nat’s podcast is wonderful!
I have been listening to Nat’s podcast for quite some time now, and am so impressed with her no-nonsense way of explaining why we may have fallen into unfulfilling relationships in the past and how to make better choices in the future. She cuts out all the crap flying around these days in order to help us understand our relationship patterns, how to spot dodgy behavior in emotionally unavailable partners, and ultimately, how to love ourselves enough to stand up for what we truly want in life. Nat simply rocks!
