Jon Jon the PhenomMograph has a voice!Started listening due to Chris Schmidt’s guest appearance as I’m getting more into the C4D mograph community. Great stuff! It’s nice to hear people in and around this industry (advertising for me), talk shop. Looking forward to more!
-
RayRod747Amazing podcastI am so thankful you guys exist. This is exactly the kind of podcast I needed at the right time. I’m obsessed with becoming the best motion graphic artist on the planet and this podcast will make that journey easier and more enjoyable. Looking forward to more!

ryanfyffeBest new addition to my podcast librarySolid info, fresh perspectives, and very humorous! New listener here but already anticipating upcoming episodes!

TriviaCrackHead2015Always worth a listen.Every Monday I get a fresh new nugget of infotainment from the boys at Brograph, mostly in 30 minute, drive to work segments. I’ve always enjoyed the podcast and the interviews they get are always pretty good. I’m more into After Effects but have been diving infrequently into cinema to help push some designs forward in my AE pipeline so getting new information about plugins and such for C4D is always great. I enjoy the humor and banter. I like when they can talk about their projects more and about their personal lives. It helps me feel like I’m not the only one out there who is struggling or has struggled in the past. I recommend this podcast for people in Mograph or getting into Mograph but be warned it’s 99% Cinema 4D and it’s plug-ins and not so much AE, which is fine but just a caveat to know. Keep up the good work Matt and Dave.

BradleynessGood content sometimes, but...So, first off, the name Brograph. I’d like to point out how short-sighted this branding is. To begin with, ‘Bro’ is often used as a pejorative. Also, in an industry dominated by males, doesn’t it seem short-sighted to have branding that reinforces the stereo-type of a boys club? I recommend that the Bro’s bring a female on regularly to balance the frat club. As far as the podcast itself, they get really great guests and sometimes ask good questions. However, I find myself skipping through the first part of every podcast because my time is limited and they seem to be trying to be radio personalities instead of content producers. I would like to see more focus from the Bro’s. This commentary is meant as encouragement, there’s a lot that you guys are doing right with this podcast. I feel like you need to mature a bit.

alexanderwurtspretty good I guessif you do motion graphics, or are at all interested in 3D then this show is a must listen. this show goes more in-depth than any other podcast on these topics. the older shows are also still very relevant and useful, so there’s a lot of great stuff to fill your podcast feed up with.

urb4ngorillaLove this podcastListening to this podcast has the vibe of going to a meetup and hanging out with some good friends and talking shop about the motion design industry. Matt and Dave are funny, unbiased, and they tell it like it is. Life is too short to spend your commute listening to NPR talk about a bunch of crap you don’t care about. Stay up to date and focused on your craft!

@ s hA weekly recharge!Love the subject matter. Love the interviews. Love the loosely related industry discussions before diving into the real Mograph topics. And love the hosts camaraderie! This is a somewhat lengthy podcast but for good reason. There's been multiple times that I've thrown my headphones off onto my desk in a panic that my colleagues heard me laughing out loud in the office. And on one occasion while mowing the lawn on a Saturday afternoon I killed my mower because I was laughing so hard, which was later followed up with purchasing a six'er of Zima. What the heck is so funny and does Mograph have to do with Zima you might ask? Just start listening!
-
JGO1000This gets me pumped!Great at keeping me up to date and feeling part of this community. Even though I'm the only mograph person at my job. It's pretty good I guess...
-
ReignCloud1Very InspirationalDefinitely worth a listen if you're a motion gfx artist. Very relevant and full of insightful notes and tips. I'm really glad I found this.
-
garofairA welcomed perspectiveDig this podcast. I listen to quite a few different podcasts, but this is the one I make time for. While it IS focused on C4D and Octane, there is enough info and entertainment for all sorts of motion graphics artists and freelancers. Also random bits and pieces for anyone with a cursory interest in VR, drones, cameras, game development (maybe a stretch), and other goodness. Love the conversational tone and great to hear other peers like EJ and David Ariew and the occasional other guests. Just waiting on more tutorials! Keep it up guys (nice meeting you at NAB)!
-
ChadKnightEntertaining and usefulThese guys are awesome. They cover all a wide variety of topics that are relevant to the ever expanding world of 3D and motion graphics. A lot of us are self taught, so this is also a great way to learn about things you didn't know you didn't know. Keep up the guy work guys and thanks for doing what you do!
-
KeepitlampyThis is a baby making podcast!Matt (if that is even his real name) has such smooth dulcet tones that just ooze charisma and charm. When I close my eyes I imagine him to have the rugged good looks of a young George Clooney, but with the gentle touch of Benedict Cumberbatch (but more lumberjacky). Can't speak to accuracy. Dave seems lovely.
-
kyledettmanYES!!!So glad I found this podcast! These guys speak my language of After Effects, C4D, Octane, VR and Drones. They're also super knowledgable and have awesome advice, especially when it comes to freelancing and working for "the man". How did I exist in this space and not know about this!? Thanks guys.

MatisFlexLoving itHey Bros, just started listening and ive been loving it so far! keep it up!
-
Leo BonarrigoOne of my favsGreat listen for any mographers, especially Cinema 4D folks, and especially especially Octane users.
-
PepeTheLionGreat mograph podcast!Love this podcast! It's nice to sit and listen about the things you're also interested in. Not only do we discuss the trials and tribulations of the day to day in the life of an artist but we often talk about things that common mograph peep would also be interested in. It's a must listen every week! Best Bro's for life!
-
Mark CernosiaAwesome Motion Graphics PodcastDave and Matt are great hosts and are full of insight and tips. As a long time Cinema 4D user and recently getting Octane, I've learned a ton from listening to this podcast each week. I really enjoy the topics in the C4D and Octane area, but that's not all! They also discuss the entire motion community, entrepreneurship and emerging tech like VR, RAVCO (haha) and the latest motion graphics news. It's a great podcast and I look forward to fresh episodes every week. Cheers!

GeoffLBWhen no one else caresDave & Matt do in fact deserve a raise. It's podcasts like this that help you feel like you're around smart people in motion design and animation. You don't have to be in a top tier city to do mograph, but without the communities those places offer, podcasts like this one are the best way to be connected to that world, especially when nobody at work cares what kind of renderer you're thinking about trying out. I'm relatively new to 3D but with the barge of momentum Cinema 4D is pushing forward, the tutorials these guys and GSG put out are your buoys/life rafts/snorkel gear etc.
-
SlykuiperLove the podcast.Hey guys! Can't remember where I found you, but I eventually moved over to listening on iTunes. Keep up the great content :)
-
Taylor KennyThanks!!As someone relatively new to C4D this podcast has been an amazing find. But what I find most helpful is when Dave and Matt discuss the business side of motiong graphics. As a relatively new freelance artist working from home I feel like I am still able to learn from more expierenced artists without being in studio. Also - My c4d everyday proejct is starting to shift away from beeple themed stuff thanks to Dave thanks :)
-
The RenderguyThe podcast to listen to for C4D news and moreThe podcast to listen to for news and user experiences with C4D and Octane, and the world of motion graphics. The two hosts, Dave and Matt, are friendly, honest and easy to listen to. There is good information given out and they are very consistent with releasing a new show every Tuesday. They just hit their 1 year anniversary, with show #47. Congrats guys!
-
Dreamcube017Like Cinema 4D? This'll be hyper-relatable.They're like the best friends I never had! Motion graphics, gamers, joking is abundant. Be aware.
-
@freshmographJust Awesome!I look forward to each release of the Brograph Podcast. At one point I was so far behind I could listen to an episode at will, but unfortunately I'm all caught up and I have to wait for the fresh goodness. This is my go to podcast when I'm driving long distances because I know that the wide range of topics and humor will keep me awake (my wife really appreciates that...yes, I said it...you know what to do). Keep up the great work! Thanks for all the hard work that you guys put into the podcast.
-
qerplonkGreat discussion about the business of motion graphicsDave and Matt are down-to-Earth guys who discuss techniques and business of working with Cinema 4D and Octane Render. They frequently have cool guests on to talk about their experience in the industry, offer advice, and discuss goings-on with hardware and industry events. These episodes are very lengthy, which is perfect to listen to while doing a long session of creative work. This is an easy subscribe if you are interested in diving deeper into the world of motion graphics.
-
XcorralFeels like hanging out with my nerd buddies!Except while im working at home in my undies!
-
Jeff FrankoIts like the cloner object for your earsSeriously these bros are great! The motion community is so spread out its not common you run into someone you can really just nerd out with. Ive tried it with my some friends of mine and they just kinda nod their heads. Hearing about the state of the industry, along with tips, tricks, and plugins really helps progress my own motion skills. I listen to the podcast every day! Thank you so much you two keep it up!
-
FelixblackeI was told there would be shirts.#1 show, great time. Also, you can't submit multiple reviews, just resubmit your previous. Still 5/5. Would rate again. #almostdaily
-
quasimodowithacamGreat showAfter a hiatus of 10 years you guys got me back into podcasts again. Enjoy you show on my morning and evening commute. A nice chat with useful insights into C4D and some great tips I never heard before. Love it!
-
JoshFoster5Informative and EntertainingBeen listening to these guys for about a month and they do a really solid job. The topics are well rounded and cover a wide variety of aspects within the motion graphics industry. The show is organized, well paced, and funny - especially when Matt cues the, "...and Dave will insert the clip riiiiigghhhtt here" - only to be met with a long pause and disgusted "...no" from Dave. Keep up the nice work fellas.
-
_DanDillinger3D designer and MographLove these bros! Love listening to them talking shop! These guys have great tips and tutorials. Really excited to see these guys grow! Keep it up Bros! Would love to hear them talk more about creativity and their creative inspirations
-
NewgranafaA must listen! This 40 year old AE newbie is loving this podcast. Great guys, inspiring info and killer odd tangents.
-
daabomb101Love these guysAs a stranded artist in Charlottesville, VA, this makes me actually feel like I have other nerdy friends who understand me and my job. Also, nobody else is podcasting about Octane, so major props!
-
askflo1LukeIn addition to loving the subject matter, this podcast reminds me what having friends with similar interests used to be like. The best thing ever.
-
r1k.gaijinermagerd! thanks y'all!thanks for doing this, I've been searching and searching for a podcast that focuses on motion graphics, and was at the point of almost doing one myself. thanks for your time, insight and sharing your experiences and ideas. much appreciated by this recently solo motion graphics designer and compositor. the recent ep focusing on nuke was great, I've finally had some time to devote to learning nuke and this was very timely. thanks and don't stop!!!
-
mgfarklefantasticThese 2 guys seem to telepathically know the questions that are in my head, and attempt to answer them in a great back and forth dialogue. They keep things light and fun, but cover important topics at the same time. There’s a virtual bro-ship thats been forged *fistbump* as I hear about them struggling with some of the same things I have in the motion graphics arena. Its great that they cover such a wide range of topics in each podcast, not choosing one subject to beat into the ground for an hour. Keep em coming!
-
-IzR-Great Podcast! This is a great podcast, always fun to listen to and they have some great advice to C4D users and great news about render engines and vRay and Octane for c4d.
