Napoleon StarkAn All-Time Classic!I’m a long-time Warhammer hobbyist, and several years ago I started looking for a good podcast to help me bridge the gap from the late Warhammer Fantasy World into Age of Sigmar. There was no shortage of Warhammer related podcasts, but I can honestly say I have never found a better one than The Mortal Realms, and I hasten to add that’s because of how exceedingly high they set the bar! The tone is often conversational, but in a fun, friendly, and absolutely engaging way. I’ve listened to these peeps for many hours, and I plan on many more (Nagash permitting!). This show is a joy, along with being immensely informative. It brings me a smile to queue their show up on my device. Thank you, and keep up the fabulous job!

Kugelfang52All around funI don’t play the game, nor am I an AOS hobby enthusiast, but these guys get it right. They clearly enjoy what they do and bring the Mortal Realms to life. Give it a listen.

Sevvir ElonLoremasters of the RealmsA great listen for anyone interested in Age of Sigmar, Warhammer, or just fantasy as a whole. They go through the different stories that take place in the setting and offer an honest analysis of it all. Their passion for the lore shines through and the puns are phenomenal.

MarianPossiblySigmar’s blessingA necessary (and entertaining) listen for Warhammer fans. New to the lore? This is the perfect staring point. Glad I stumbled upon this show.

WillnFolkThe praise phaseNot only do they do a great job covering all things Sigmar. They’ll inform you on so much you may have missed. It’s a must for Age of Sigmar fans.

brettonianprinceWish there was moreAn excellent podcast to put on while delving into the hobby. The hosts have a good grasp of the world, and it is nice hearing their backgrounds and the like coming from 8th edition. Gives a good hobby store atmosphere while working at home. Has really helped me and a buddy of mine put the story behind some of the faces, and get us more interested in the plotline, after the sobering of the destruction of the world-that-was.

Scruby & WellsAn Early Champion for AoSAbsolutely one of the best narrative-oriented AoS podcasts. Shortly after Age of Sigmar was released, Eric and Davy created one of the first, new podcasts on the scene, which was especially significant given there were so many negative voices online panning the new game, often without even thoughtfully trying it. They have been positive and inclusive from the beginning, and have gone on to create amazing projects like the Mortal Realms Tokens and the upcoming (as of this review) Coalescence global narrative event to take AoS narrative play to the next level. They’ve been rockstar community champions, and continue to produce an outstanding show.

MadDrBMy favorite AoS showThis show has been a great production since AoS came out in summer 2015 and covers all aspects of the game and community. I only wished they released episodes more often, but I appreciate the quality over quantity.

Blueisoladistance makes the heart left wanting...the only complaint I can even manage to levy against The Mortal Realms is that it seems tontake place far too infrequently. call me greedy, but once a month just does not seem enough. particualrly in the present when so much seems to be happening in the world of Age of Sigmar on a regular/weekly basis. this is the AoS pod I most look forward to seeing as an updated new episode in my pod queue. the qulaity of both the production and content is nothing short of top-notch. there is nothing more frustrating to me than attempting to listen to a pod that involves numerous voices that sound like they are being piped in through the warp via cotton balls wrapped in gauze. I truly appreciate the attention to audio quality. keep up the great work, gents!

abohlerTo borrow a pun, pretty "AoS-ome".Finally, the most anticipated podcast of the century is here. Forget about Serial season 2, the real hard-hitting investigational journalism is coming straight to your ear holes courtesy of the boys from the 2 W's - Wisconsin and Wales. They said Age of Sigmar wasn't sexy. They said Age of Sigmar didn't have bite. Yeah, well I've got news for them and you: The Mortal Realms is here to prove that AoS has more sexy and more bite than even Edward Cullen. And the similarities don't stop there, my friends - our hosts also shimmer in the daylight so loud you can hear it through the mics and also are a big hit with middle aged ladies that are all way too old to be into this stuff in the first place. Enough about them. Let's talk about you. Look, I know you want to learn more about AoS. You're worried about the state of Warhammer, everything seems to have fallen apart, and you want to figure out where you stand. The models are great. The game is simple. But you're still not sure. Hey, I know you're a busy dude or lady. I know you've been killing yourself out there in the "rat race". But I also know you need to take some time for yourself to stay sane. Doctor's orders. Guess what, I've got just the thing - this here podcast. Still concerned about where you stand? Look up, you're standing arm in arm with the Mortal Realms, and everything is going to be ok. You're safe here. To put it another way, the podcast is pretty good, and honestly with many others dropping out of the game there's not much else to listen to anyways. You could do much worse. Happy gaming!
