Cee_SennInsightfulThis is the most insightful relationship podcast I’ve ever listened to. I especially love the episodes that Neil does alone, because it’s his wisdom and depth of knowledge and experience that i think brings so much value. My husband and I are also clients of him, and he is WONDERFUL. Neil is able to see things that one or both of us do not say, and stayed it in a way that we are able to “hear” it and consider change.

Katiej7Write a script and stop ramblingOnly listen when there’s a guest. Host rambles on and on repeating himself over and over. SO BORING host has no personality.
-
HessboogieJust discovered!Recently discovered this podcast after a tough conversation with my partner. I realized that I don’t have a lot of experience when it comes to relationship and hoping to start the work. This podcast provides good tips and insight. Will continue listening!

orit.krugLove this podcast!Neil keeps it real in a way that’s inspiring and massively helpful, and at the same time... he helps us feel normal and hopeful that we are not alone in our relationship struggles. I so appreciate him sharing his own relatable stories that feel SO supportive to my own relationship growth!

Charlotte in SeattleLove this pod!Such a gem of a podcast. Neil has such an empathic and soothing style that makes me think not just about my relationships, but also myself as an individual. The guests are high profile from psychology and relationship circles. When I’m upset about life, I turn on this pod and find solace with Niel and his wonderfully knowledgeable interviewees. It has helped me become a more vulnerable, loving, and considerate person, not only to others but myself as well.

Cory1388Episode 213This episode is down right amazing. As I listened to it I reflected on my life and wow did I see how I was that person that would go straight into my defense and blame others for my own stuff. Thank you for all that you do and helping everyone out there with relational well being.

Kendra ChartsI Love the GuidanceI recently started listening to this podcast and found Neil's transparency about his own life and relationship honest, real and relatable. I loved the podcast episode about judgement and found it so helpful how he offered strategies and walked the listener through it step by step. By the end of the episode I had several perspective shifts and insighful reflections. Highly recommend!

The Fwa FwaThank you sincerely from me heartSo much gratitude for all that Neil and his guests offer to all of us wanting to better our relationships and in that our lives!! I feel like my relationships have done a 180 and in large part to the many helpful and vulnerable sharings on this show. I have read many books from many of the guest on this podcast. Highly suggest it. I found out a lot more about myself in that. And was able to find healing in surprising places. I have found Neil’s personal life sharings an incredibly helpful tool. A feeling of not alone, a hopefulness to change and in that, know myself better. I have been inspired to meet my fear in honest relationship, even if it causes me pain. Thank you Neil, thank you for for being vulnerable, growing and sharing your journey ☺️ R.L.S.S.

Akmommaof2Love it! But.I love almost all of the podcasts!! My only complaint is when he switched to putting his adds in the middle of everything after you’re engaged, tends to throw me off! Not sure about everyone else?

FreeziePopNot a Substitute for Therapy but Pretty Dang CloseAs a therapist myself, I use this as supplemental to my partner’s and my couple’s counseling with positive outcomes. Well produced show with extremely knowledgeable and well known/renowned guests (in the mental health field).

AmberDee88Endless hours of wisdom!I am so grateful that I stumbled upon this podcast!!! I have recommended it to SO many of my friends and family. Neil has on the most incredible guests, is such a thorough interviewer, and explores almost every sticky topic out there.. I can pretty much say that this podcast has saved my marriage, it got us into much needed counseling and his wife, Chloe Urban’s healing work has woken me up to the fact that I still had some much needed work to do on my own..(so crucial for anyone to survive in any relationship) Can not thank them enough.. it may sound dramatic but I believe this work that they pour their lives and hearts into can change the world!
-

Jcm451Helpful and thoughtful relationship adviceI have been married for over 10 years and I had my own counselor for a while. I have listened to two and half of these podcasts and they were so helpful in helping me think through my own commitment and approach to the marriage. I thought Neil brought up a good point about having your own counseling and how that can sometimes shift the focus from the relationship to just yourself. I felt my counselor did a great job but it wasn’t about my marriage it was more about me so I am happy to find these podcasts to help bring the focus back to my relationship. I am looking forward to you listening to more updates and I am grateful that Neil has created a series and is sharing it with the rest of us.

Lee ZebraRelationship therapist in a podcastI’ve been a frequent listener of this podcast for some time now, and am very grateful for it’s existence. The wisdom and knowledge this podcast holds for anyone who is trying to make sense of the complexities within relationships between self/other has helped me tremendously in terms of my own self awareness and the overall health of my relationship. Neil is an excellent host and interviewer, and has invited a wide array of experts to share their knowledge. I have gotten so much out of these podcasts and think it’s the best podcast out there in terms of relationship guidance.
-
Silvvvvvvvvvv789ExcellentExcellent material and great guests & topics. Thanks Neil for making this podcast for all of us! I appreciate it so much.
-
Ric413Shameless commercialismGreat ideas and needs but the approach is obnoxious
-
conan2280Very relevant and valuable but...This podcast was recommended to me by my therapist. So far, I really like what I’ve heard and the topics have been very helpful to me. The one criticism I have and why I’m giving the podcast 4 stars is the occasional profanity requiring I have to allow explicit in my iPhone restrictions. I know many are ok with profanity and it makes it “real” for them, but for me, it is abrasive to the ears and I wouldn’t expect it in a great podcast like this.
-
Neos lawn careAmazing relationship help!I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year now. Neil stays current and offers some of the best guests and topics I’ve come across. Very helpful and applies to what I’ve been looking for! Thanks Neil 💗 you’ve helped my relationship in many ways!

ScarfgirlIt’s been a worthwhile journeyI subscribed to this podcast while I was trying to fix my broken marriage, but only really started listening during my divorce. So I haven’t been in a romantic relationship for most of the time that I have listened to this podcast, but it’s been a real pleasure to be exposed to so many researchers and authors I would not have otherwise found and their knowledge as well. This podcast has improved my relationship with myself, my kids, my family and my friends. It has also kept me aware of what is possible in a *good*/amazing/fully committed relationship during what could be a time of contraction and despair. I always learn something here, and I really relish the opportunity to bring this learning into *so* many different areas of my life, perhaps most of all my relationship to myself. I feel like I’m a walking testament to the power of this podcast and the transferable skills and knowledge Neil and Chloe bring to light. I don’t know if I will ever be in a romantic relationship again, but if I am, I feel very confident that I will bring more capacity for joy, presence, good communication, possibility and growth than I did at other times in my life; I have Neil to thank, in part, for that. So thanks Neil & keep it coming - I am listening!

Elizak1The Best Podcast on RelationshipsThis podcast was one of the first podcasts I began listening to and it's the reason I'm now a podcast addict! Some podcasts you listen to for a couple weeks or a month and than it gets old - this is not one of those podcasts! This podcast is fresh and new and ALIVE every time. Neil goes deeper than most podcasters are willing to go and, as a result, this podcast will take you deeper than you could imagine. Neil is one of the best interviewers I've ever listened to. This podcast transformed my life and my relationship. Thank you Neil!

The BintLiterally saved my marriage!!!This podcast is a treasure trove of relationship advice & resources! No New Age love gurus with gimmicky advice. Every guest has years, even decades of research to back them up. But your relationship doesn't have to be on the rocks in order to benefit from this podcast. The focus of this show is growth, for the individuals & for the relationship. Nearly every episode has mind-blowing revelations & yet when you think about it, it's all very intuitive.

Dean LohmeyerA Great ResourceI didn't know how much help I needed in my own relationship until things got rocky. My wife asked me to check out a couple podcasts from Relationship Alive, and suddenly I'm listening to all of them. They are making a big difference in how I approach my relationship with my wife. It seems like every podcast gives me something else to think about in my relationship with my wife, or change in my marriage, or at least discuss with my wife. This is a great resource for anyone who is having any kind of struggle in their relationship. I highly recommend it.
