    Racist garbage.
Serial entrepreneurs should be trusted as much as serial killers.

Wouldn’t trust advice from these folks. Sound pretentious and the knitting community will not let you succeed

Same old MBA regurgitation. Old thinking. Super dull. Can only promote their value by devaluing others. Not worth the time.

    Leave Women Owned Businesses Alone!
As an owner of a local community yarn store, my heart sank once again when I heard about knitting.com. Women/minority owned businesses are hard enough without some bros coming in to mansplain how they are going to put us all out of business. GO AWAY and let small, family owned businesses thrive!

I wouldn’t pay for their advice
I recently listened to episode 433 (the knitting dot com episode) and it is clear to me that these guys are mostly just smoke and mirrors. They claim to have great insight and market knowledge, but they also blatantly and obviously skipped the part of actually researching the new industry they want to “lead”. Their assumptions are glaring, their anti-Asian racism is blatant and offensive, and their ageism and misogyny are implied if not clearly articulated. They have become the laughing stock of the crafting world and it only took two blog posts and a podcast to get them there. I wouldn’t pay for “secret sauce” business advice from people who could so thoroughly and deftly underestimate, disdain, and alienate their intended customers all by failing the first step in any successful business- know your core competency.

what a laughable bunch of mansplainers
knitting.com? y’all paid HOW MUCH for it? because you didn’t bother actually RESEARCHING the fiber arts community? daaaaamn. i want some of that sweet, sweet white douchebro mansplaining money so that i, too, can tell all these womenfolx and queer folx and Black and Brown and other POC folx how STUPID they’ve been to not monetize something that they’ve been using online for more than a decade and a half. and been doing for LITERALLY hundreds of years, all over the world. y’all are something, that’s for sure. get lost.

    Sloppy research, incorrect statistical analysis
Based on their laughable podcast about Knitting, I can see these “business men“ use incredibly faulty logic. Their sloppy competitive analysis, incomplete market research, and faulty conclusions reveals a very unsophisticated business acumen. Their faulty conclusions are the equivalent of “I wore green socks on Wednesday and I didn’t get cancer, green socks prevent cancer” I would advise looking for a business podcast that understands the concept of post hoc ergo propter hoc

    Good luck!
I just listened to the knitting.com episode and I can tell you right now, the knitting world will not be very welcoming to you two knuckleheads.

    Knitting joke
Ok, so i listened to episode 433 and I was shocked at the disdain they have for their customers. But that was not as shocking as the lack of research they seemed to have done. No mention of Ravelry? They did their market research in a big box craft store? Good luck; you’ll need it!! It seems to me that they don’t really care about this business. They are just using it to market the products that they sell on “how to start your own business”

    Amazing Resource
Found this podcast through a colleague and have gotten SO MUCH valuable info. Ended up starting an ecom business and subscribing to Premium, using a lot of the info learned from this podcast. My favorite part is just how transparent they are, they share everything.

    Actionable, Valuable
When I got into e-commerce, I heard about the E-com Crew. Years later, as a $1m/year seller, I still listen to their podcasts regularly. With Mike’s experience, he knows what content is relevant. Pause the podcast and TRY what he says... These small “Experiments” have improved my business again and again. I also VERY MUCH appreciate Mike and Dave’s non-salesy approach. Once a podcaster starts ramming a sales pitch down your throat, you recognize that the last 30 minutes was just regurgitated pseudo-strategies to build rapport. NOT SO with Dave and Mike! (nor the previous co-host!) This podcast bas been genuine from the start, with transparency DEEP into the businesses they run! In a world full of fake claims and guru salesmen, THE E-COM CREW SHINES BRIGHT as an example of honest giving-first thought leadership.

    My Commuting E-Commerce Podcast Companion
I’ve been listening to this show for years, and it’s remarkable to me how many valuable insights I’ve gained from it: launching new products, building your e-commerce store, competing on Amazon, dealing with sourcing and shipping issues, design challenges, profitability, and much, much more. I find Steve Jackness to be particularly insightful, approachable, transparent, and incredibly helpful in the way he walks through problems and helps the audience. I met Steve a couple years ago at the ECF Live conference, and he is just as sincere and genuine in real life as he comes across in the podcast, which is incredibly refreshing. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking to sharpen their skillset and learn from true experts in the field that care enough to share with others. I have forwarded links to countless episodes of this podcast to my team with notes on how we should try to implement something I’ve heard on an episode. So grateful that they go through the effort to produce these.

Helped me with my e-commerce biz
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple years now and can honestly say that it is helped me tremendously. I’ve implemented many things that have been discussed on the podcast which has helped my business grow. I really like the case study segments where they profile a business and help the owner with their struggles, which are often similar to mine. I highly recommend this podcast if you are trying to get into Ecommerce or if you already run an ecom biz... Thanks Mike and Dave!

One of the Best Ecom Shows Out There
I’ve been through startup, ecom, and amazon podcasts galore over the past decade. EcomCrew stands out because the humans behind it are genuine and they let you inside to see how the sausage is made. They have the experience, a strong network, and a commitment to help their community that outclasses other shows. Mike, Dave, the other Dave, and the team in PH know how to excel in ecom, and they share their processes to help you become excellent at it, too. If you want to become an expert level ecom sausage maker, this podcast is for you.

    Better than gold!
I can’t possibly count how many times I’ve gotten something valuable from this podcast - each nugget of information is priceless. I’ve been doing e-commerce since 2002, learning much through trial and error. Now with the information Provided in this podcast I’m able to grow my business more quickly and with a better focus on what’s important. Mike’s experience with his own businesses and applying that experience to his podcasts makes them more ‘real world’ applicable. There is a mountain of valuable and practical information in this podcast.

Seriously - this is one of the best
I'm relatively new to ecommerce and trying to read and listen to everything I can get my hands on. What I like about the EcomCrew podcast is that there is always something actionable that you can take away after listening. Mike is a no-nonsense guy who truly just wants to help others in the shoes he'd found himself when he was just starting out. There's no bombast, no hyperbole, no hard sell of his program. It's just a bunch of juicy wisdom nuggets for his lucky listeners.

    Honestly Leads to Trust
I’ve been listening to Mike for years. It’s clear that compared to many other e-commerce podcasts, you just trust Mike more. This is absolutely due to his transparency. He’ll tell you when he screwed up, he’ll tell you when he’s changed his mind on something, he’ll tell you about his disappointments. This tone is refreshing and a lifetime different than the soul suckers you find on other podcasts. I’ve learned a ton. Keep up the great work guys!
