Started following this show a while ago but I just now got around to checking it out cuz I listen to so many podcasts. I’m glad I decided to check it out cuz these guys have great discussions and great chemistry. The show is an absolute blast. Keep up the great work gents!

I have been watching horror movies ever since I was little. I grew up in a Chicago suburb and the television stations played horror movies Fridays, Saturdays and occasionally Sundays in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I’ve always loved horror movies (especially 80’s slashers and vampires). and reviews of them. (I used to buy Leonard Maltins annual review books every year). There was a 70”s proto slasher called “Blood and Lace” that I saw in those days that stuck with me. I did a YouTube search of that title with podcast and discovered this wonderful horror movie podcast. Originally it was Dave, Christian and Brandon. Brandon (as funny, charismatic and intelligent as the others) sadly left a year or so ago (but fortunately sporadically stops by). As for Dave and Christian, they are extremely qualified to host this highly entertaining show. I’ve listened to many horror podcasts : I’ve stopped listening to some after 15 minutes because the hosts were dumb and/or boring. That has never been the case with this show. Both hosts have great knowledge of history of horror as well as the movies and their directors, cast and crew. If you enjoy horror franchises, they are also knowledgeable and informative. They both have great insights and theories too (for example, one believed it was Jason that called to Brenda in the original “Friday the 13th “ - I never considered that but I think he’s right). Finally, they are both very likable and funny too. Their rapport is that of two longtime friends or brothers. Occasionally, they will randomly drop movie quotes in their own silly way or create and sing funny songs relating to the movies. To reiterate, I have listened to many horror podcasts and this is, by far, the most enjoyable. They have over 200 episodes here and on YouTube. I am subscribed to them on YouTube and Facebook. Please give them a listen - I very highly recommend.

A Great Podcast, brought you buy some great dudes. These guys are awesome and overflowing with Horror Knowledge! The first time I met Christian I was searching for a bypass patch cord so that I could play Zaxxon up in my room and he hooked me up! When I met Dave before he even knew who I was, he offered me some gum, spearmint or fruit, I asked for Fruit please. If you aren’t listening to this podcast, subscribing to it, and donating to their Patreon, you definitely should be It’s well worth the money.

One of the best out there. Fabulous chemistry between the 3 hosts. These guys are knowledgeable horror fans that actually know what they are talking about. Plus it’s the only podcast I’ve followed that was worth joining Patreon for. Keep up the great work.

This is as close to perfect a horror podcast you can get. Except for the fact that I am unsure why one of the hosts is even part of it.

These guys know horror movies. They talk about such a wide range of movies, from 80s slashers, to the newest movie. They don’t hold back their opinions. They genuinely have fun, even when they don’t agree, it’s never mean-spirited. But be forewarned, it can get a bit raunchy. So come in with a live of horror, and the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy, and you’ll enjoy the show.

Ridding the world of mold.

I found this podcast randomly when searching a specific movie and haven’t stopped listening since. Each episode is entertaining even if you haven’t watched the movie they are reviewing. I have signed up for their Patreon and it’s totally worth the money!! I really can’t express how amazing it is and how much I enjoy these dudes. I love all the friendships I’ve made in this EH community.

Easily the worst horror podcast ever. Don’t waste your time.

Frontal lobes were never fully formed. It’s not their fault but if you aren’t ready to cringe for an hour or two, might wanna skip this one.

Exploding Heads is a fantastic podcast. It's chockfull of humor, information and thought provoking reviews. I love this show and the hosts! This is one show that I do not miss and you shouldn't either!

These guys are great! You aren’t just getting great horror recommendations but a fun show and good comedy as well. These three guys play off one another really well and make me laugh everytime. I’ve also gotten lots of good movie suggestions from them. Another fun aspect is that you’ll always find yourself agreeing with one of them on their movie tastes and hearing different perspectives. All around fun show and highly recommend.

Exploding Heads is one of the few shows I’ve listened to consistently since they’ve started. These guys are some of the funniest in the game. I can’t listen to an episode without laughing out loud to myself at least once. On top of that, they are 3 really nice guys who love interacting with their listeners.

If you're looking for an entertaining, informative, thought provoking horror movie podcast, you've found it! If you're looking for something to play in the background during your commute to work to make the drive less boring, it'll also do that. This podcast is multi-purpose! Seriously though folks, this is the best horror movie podcast there is. Instantly addictive, and genuinely hilarious. You will learn, you will laugh, you will cry. And hopefully you will join the Patreon and donate. I did, and now I have slightly less money each month. But my life is richer for it. This podcast is amazing. The hosts are amazing. Thank you guys. My commute to work is bearable because of you.

Found this podcast about a year or year and a half ago and I like to listen to them. These are long podcasts with multiple movies and what did I watch commentary. Dave Zee reminds me a Joe Pesci which is who he sounds like. Gotta give them up because they are going patreon only. Sorry guys. They are a good listen though so go ahead and join their patreon.

Found the exploding heads in October 2019 and haven’t stopped listening to them since. Hitting ep #44 and still enjoy hearing these guys everyday during my hour commute. I thought I would only have similarities with one of the guys w their movie taste but I’ve come to find I seem to agree or disagree with someone different every episode, which keeps me on my toes for the ratings, I love it! Great work gentlemen! And come on people, $1 an episode, everyone can afford it. Count me in to continue listening to you guys as long as you let us! Keep it up!!!

Started listening to the show after I stumbled upon banana laser and heard about it on there. At first I only listened because of Dave z but after listening you can see it’s a great show because of Brandon and Christian as well. Great coverage of all kinds of horror movies.

The best horror podcast bar none! I think it says something how, even though my horror movie taste and theirs (esp. Brandon's) very frequently diverge, the unmatched chemistry between the three hosts and the entertainment they provide always keep me coming back. Nothing makes me smile more when I open iTunes than when I see a new Exploding Heads ep. pop up.

If you are a fan of horror podcasts they don’t get any better than this one. These hosts are informative and entertaining. They have a great chemistry together. Highly recommended.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

As far as I can tell, these guys aren’t academics in the least. But that doesn’t really matter because their passion for the genre is infectious. Love the deep dives, the franchise retrospectives and whole episodes dedicated to a certain theme or sub-genre. For a sterling example of the latter check out the episode “Night Of The Proto-slasher”. Great stuff. Keep it up guys!

An entertaining podcast for the fan that wants more than just reviews. These guys break down horror movies to the bare bones and show comparisons to previous horror flicks and directors. I have often gone by there recommendations of lesser known movies and have often been pleasantly surprised. Guaranteed to go off the rails from time to time but it’s always entertaining. Great job guys!

I’m just getting started with these guys, but so far it’s like hanging out talking about horror movies (and whatever else) over a drink with friends, and Joe Pesci! Set aside a few hours, our take them in smaller doses if that’s easier, but sit back and enjoy the ride!

If you are into horror then you’ll like this podcast! It’s great long episodes with great content that keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat the whole time! Very entertaining!

These guys are committed to the horror genre and to creating quality content. Super entertaining and informative. In addition to big name movies, they also discuss a lot of movies you don't hear much about elsewhere. An all around great listen!

That's what Exploding Heads Horror Podcast is like, except with grown-ups. Often three-to-four hours in length, EHH Podcast is a fun time with some funny guys.

The first horror podcast I chose. I will never listen to any other. These dudes are fantastic and well versed in horror. Thank you

Exploding Heads is my go to podcast for all things horror. I am a delivery driver and I am in a car 7-8 hours a day. The episodes are long enough to keep me entertained without having to fumble through the plethora of knockoffs. BloodyDisgusting Horror review podcast is good but I feel it gets bogged down by too much laughter and deprecation. I appreciate that Dave, Brandon, and Christian take their time to diligently research all of these films/franchises. They are definite fans of horror-and it shows. They have great chemistry and keep me listening time and time again. I find myself jotting down RRR movies on sticky notes in my vehicle. I plan on convincing my wife to let me give these guys some much needed love on Patreon. I love the franchise reviews and RRR the most. I’d really love to hear some horror interviews with some horror actors, directors, etc. one day. It’ll come in time, I’m sure. Keep up the good work guys.

I listen to several horror movie podcasts, and this is one of the best. I found these guys while listening to another show. Dave, Christian, and Brandon are true horror fans. Listening to the show is like listening to three of your best friends talk about horror films. One of my favorite things about the show is I don’t feel like I’m being lectured to, as the guys are very knowledgeable and highly informed they keep it light and fun. As stated by crowd, these guys are super knowledgeable and seriously immersed in the genre. Above all else, this podcast reminds me of my friends and I shooting the breeze. Chemistry between these guys is great.

Exploding Heads is not just a great name, it’s a great podcast. So many horror podcasts are rote and devoid of any insights. Not so here. The hosts are engaging and very funny. Highly recommend.
