Al_in_ILFun group of guys!I have really enjoyed the Dumble series and it has introduced me to the podcast and the music of all the hosts as well. Love the laid back approach and it’s nice to hear a guitar podcast that isn’t always tied to the latest gear but more of the history of gear and the player’s history too. Not to mention the hosts views on anything else that comes up!
-
bigsbyguyWanks of the highest order!Great players talking about the stuff great players want to hear!
-
Raintree419Superior!I heard about this show having listened to Jude Gold’s “No guitar is safe “. I love Scott Henderson as a player and needed to hear this show. I am hooked for at least my patreon subscription. Lol. Keep up the great work. I’m jumping around episode right now and can’t wait to hear the new ones about Dumble and having Satriani or Vai on.

adlaialexBest Guitar Podcast. Period.Without a doubt my favorite music podcast! These guys are smart, funny, insightful and friendly. And they know a lot about guitar playing! Great guests too. Never a dull moment!
-
MezoroLove It!I’m addicted. My friends Bruce & Scotty along with Troy keep us engaged. It’s a blast!
-
Rob W. H.Insightful banterRaw unedited interviews with musicians while drinking, gives an honest behind the scenes look into the music industry from the perspective of musicians. Great 1 minute guitar lessons with Patreon membership.

BreuschlingGuitarists - It Gets No Better!Scott, Bruce and Troy make a great team! I’ve been listening for quite some time and the discussions are always first rate! The experiences these players discuss and the observations they have are just chock full of useful tidbits to help you become a better musician - and their stories are often funny as hell! I’m always very happy to see a new episode drop. Thanks a bunch, boys!
-
WMassGuitarists rejoice!I’m new to this podcast, but not to the talent of the hosts (and their guests). The banter is fun. The gear talk is fun. Must be a cool hang. Would love to be there!

Lucas Albrechtdisfunctionally perfectlike having a couple uncles arguing in the next room. excellent background noise when the task at hand deserves your divided attention. wish theyd pull out the guitars every once in a while, though. much love!

CP 72Great podcastGreat podcast! I’ve been listening to this podcast for about 2 years and it only gets better. The guests have been great. Lyle Workman, Robben Ford, Bonamassa, John Pisano & many others. Bruce Forman & Scott Henderson are seasoned pros and provide insight about guitar playing & the music business you will find nowhere else. Both have made excellent recordings and I highly suggest one to seek these out. Bruce also has my music master classes that are fantastic and I have bought them all. Host Troy Maccubbin does a great job of editing, interviewing and presenting these. I only listen to 3 podcasts. The majority are terrible. This one is among the best by far.

Gutpocket SlimArtist need more of thisThere’s so much technical information out there these days, it’s so valuable to here the human side. Music making is so competitive and often cold and mean spirited, the warmth you guys bring keeps me positive and reminds me of why I make music. I’ve been going back and listening to to all your podcasts. Thank You, Kevin Maring in Chicago.

Pandacorns are betterFantastic podcast! For dedicated musicians, this podcast is absolutely top notch. More than that, it is a gift to hear these old salts discuss what they’ve spent their lives doing. Thanks!

HfrtrsviygfrWonderful!Entertaining, interesting interviews , stories and banter along with a healthy dose of musical(and life) wisdom and advice. Listening to Bruce, Scott and Troy has helped me as a musician and brought me closer to becoming comfortable playing live and in the studio. Bruce may mask his wisdom with self-deprecating humor and sarcasm, but his advice on playing the melody, working with the tools you have, being kind to yourself, interacting with other musicians and his overall approach as a teacher is phenomenal. Add in Scott’s quirky, irreverent commentary and Troy’s hilarious personality and you have a winning combination that never gets old. The level of musicianship between the three of them is off the charts and it’s nice to hear players of this caliber speak so freely about their experiences.
-
not-nickBest podcast for musicians, especially guitar playersI listen to this podcast religiously. It is not just about guitar but being a musician and life in general with lots of humor. Never gets boring.
-
Hoagy GuitarmichaelHilarious and informativeIf you are a guitarist or any sort of musician who is contemplating doing if for a living or interested in people who do, check this out. Words of wisdom from Scott and Bruce, with Troy holding this vortex of ranting and jokes together. Good on ya guys.
-
Jazz KatGreat show, love Bruce!I enjoyed Bruce’s Truefire courses and gave this a listen. Great conversation, sometimes silly but worth it.
-
Runs With WolfJust GreatOne incredible podcast! Funny, raw, informative and most importantly guitarists/Musicians being real.
-
D MabonTruly great musings in the appearance of random late-night conversationsLots of musical “nuggets” here hidden in this podcast. Scott and Bruce are such amazing guitarists and to hear them reflect, vent, and tell amazing stories is just amazingly entertaining. This podcast is unlike any other. Pure honesty and hilarious conversations. Troy always manages to steer the conversations into interesting directions which makes it even more interesting. If you’re a musician, and you have a sense of humor, you’ll dig it.

Blue LosGood for the mind, brain and intellectAs long as podcasts have to be listened too, they might as well be educational as well as entertaing. Bruce Foreman, Scott Henderson, and Troy McCubbin fit that unfiltered bill. Anyone looking to become better at their art or craft will benefit. There’s something even for the cynical and jaded, and they dive deep too. Most times it’s just fun, but there are some real nuggets of wisdom. At least that’s what I keep waiting for.
-
Bebop1961Great discussions about music and an approach to lifeGreat interaction between the hosts and guests. Both entertaining and educational. Thx guys. I would add that Bruce reminds me of the guitar teacher that changed my life a cat named Tonk Edwards. Very cool
-
Jac78245AwesomeGreat podcast.. What more can you ask for great stories & sometimes a lesson...
-
The DocBopFor Musicians and GearHeadsGreat podcast with great road stories from Bruce Forman and Scott Henderson with occasional fantastic lesson from Bruce. More gear talk than should be legal when Scott is get started talking Troy is the moderator that I don't thing anyone has figured out yet, but he keeps the show together and moving forward. So if into Jazz or Fusion guitar this podcast is a must listen.
-
Ed_SnegevichOutstanding Podcast!!!This is just a terrific podcast. The look into the real-life music world is so cool for a civiilian like me to experience. Wank on!!!

SirJamesOfTheBronxLukather! Show thyself, already!!!Stop me, if you’ve heard this one before (I submitted it, last night, but don’t see my review)... I absolutely love this podcast, and have nearly gotten whiplash, nodding my head in emphatic agreement with the warm-yet-crusty sage wisdom of "Some Old Guy," delivered in the dulcet drawl of a cantankerous cowpoke, the irreverent rants of some even older guy (who -helpfully enough- sometimes even supplies his own laugh track, as a kind of mirthfully misanthropic manhandler of the whammy bar), and nearly died from suspense, as Podcast MVP (interminable intros, aside),Troy stammers, in search of a superlative to describe some guitarist, only to find that -after all that wait, and with a thesaurus, nowhere to be found- he defaults to his old standby, "(so-and-so) is a Moan-stahh!" Keep up the great work, gents, and thanks for so many hours of entertainment!
-
Tim in Fort WorthGood podcastI especially enjoy Bruce Forman recounting the jazz greats with whom he’s played. I wish he would play more guitar during the podcast.
-
rocket1154seA Great Teaching ResourceThe three amigos claim they aren’t teaching, but the really can’t help themselves. If you listen, you will learn about new players, new music and (occasionally, thanks to Troy) gear. There are music lessons, life lessons and, thanks to the free flowing liquor an occasional intense but friendly disagreement. Thanks guys for all your work.
-
Jgonzo999Amazingly wankaliciousIf you play guitar, and have even a hint of an interest in jazz or blues, please listen to this podcast. The guys are completely relaxed and letting ideas on every topic under the musical sun fly with very little held back. There’s no way you’d be able to experience this before podcasting, unless you were lucky enough to be close friends with these incredible musicians. What a bunch of idiots. Giving away priceless music knowledge gold for free. Lucky us.
-

NL128Guitar wank changed my lifeBefore I started listening to Troy , Scott and Bruce my life was a mess. I would sit at home alone wanking on my guitar with no direction. Now after listening to GW ,I’m wanking all over town. I’ve earned the respect of my peers and I have more ladies than I know what to do with. Thanks guys !!! Guitar Wank is the best thing since hooked on phonics !!!

GatorBruceMonday Tuesday or Wednesday I don’t care!I love this podcast almost enough to blow a hobo. I’d almost rather not burn through it too fast, there’s so much great content! If you have a problem with Troy’s EP length introduction, Bruce's uncomfortable humor and epic playing, Scott Henderson says he's influenced by Page but I hear lots of Hendrix and SRV too with the added layers of his twisted senses which I effing love. If you don't know who Bruce Foreman is then you probably aren't ready to be for the knowledge of riffopotomus level of musical abilities and don’t take the bs too seriously. Keep on wanking mates!
-
Brennans DadEpisode 99kIt’s not the 99 thousandth episode, it just feels like it 😉

Whosh_10Thee Greatest Guitar Podcast...Ever!Informative, Educational, Entertaining and Funny!! Hands down, thee greatest podcast on all things guitar and more! Not only is Scott, Bruce and Troy great players and very knowledgable musicians but the perfect match for this podcast. Very helpful insight and intellectual conversations on guitar, guitar playing, music, musical experiences, gear, etc. The guests on the show are always top notch and just as helpful with their knowledge and experiences. I have also discovered a few guitar players due to listening to the shows segment, Wankipedia. Plus the comic relief is always nice! Proud to be a Wanker!!
-
bluzieBest Podcast EverThere is no better way to waste your time . It is addictive . So be sure to listen while at work.
-
TorbizFunny and informativeA nice old lesbian couple and their adoptive Aussie son talk about music, guitars and politics while trying their best not to teach. What’s not to like?
-
fusejazEntertaining, educational, and funny!I have listened to every episode and enjoyed eyery single one. Scott tries to stop the flow when they start "teaching", but in each podcast they still leak out plenty of valuable musician and life lessons(and of course a few raunchy jokes). We are really fortunate that they are so willing to "open up" for our benefit!
-
charlie wynegarJust funThanks for the show fun to listen too. Enjoy trying to find the in between music maybe you call them bumpers. Keep up the good work! Charlie Wynegar

Jazz Guitar FanBest Podcast Ever!!I owe so much to Troy, Bruce and Scott for all the knowledge they have shared with us on this podcast every week for the last two years. It is amazing that they continue to come together regularly and share their stories, discussions about music, gear, life in the music business and more and we get to benifit from their experience and mastery for free. What a great time to be alive. I hope all listeners appreciate this podcast and will continue to support these guys. Thank you so much Troy, Scott and Bruce!!
-
LupkynUnique and informativeLots of helpful information here for musicians. Bruce, Scott and Troy have a fun and relaxed report, and discuss wide ranging topics that guitarists will find interesting.
-
Chris T. YoungFood For The Musical SoulIf your a guitar player especially, these shows are a blast to listen too! In this world of isolationism for many home musicians, this show gives you a chance to listen in on insights, experiences and just conversation of some high level players who are just relaxed and being themselves. Many times eye opening and more often hilarious when the 3 of them get together! And their guest are usually a hoot as well! And while your there, buy a T-shirt and a mug too. I did! LoL Lots of fun and highly recommended!
-
Blooby123Can't say enough good thingsFrom the irreverant humor to the many musical insights, Guitarwank is the best thing going.
-
bc71My favorite! This is the only podcast I never miss. Funny and insightful, plus you just might learn a new joke or two while listening. As a bonus, it's not just for guitar players, some of you bass owners might enjoy it too!
-

-
brentstewartmusiccool guitar geekeryGreat players discussing music, technology, other musicians ,and more. Filter free, candid observations, which makes for a fun listen, and sometimes I learn a few things, too! Oh yeah, some tasty playing sprinkled in for flavor.
-
TomBLPFunny and InformativeThe Guitarwank podcast is something I look forward to every week. Scott and Bruce are fun to listen to and manage to teach even when they're trying not to. It's a great listen, despite Troy. Joking, love you too Troy.
