Horror Business

Horror Business is an ongoing conversation about Horror Films. Lifelong horror fans Justin Lore and Liam O’Donnell gather monthly to discuss and dissect horror films in  a sophisticated yet accessible manner. Academic yet easily digestible. High art washed down with a healthy dose of camp. Pinkies in the air whilst sipping our root beer.  You get the picture. On Horror Business Justin and Liam will watch a double feature and go in depth about the films, and each show they will invite you, the listener, to be a part of the conversation.

    Unpretentious and entertaining
A couple lovely fellas talking about horror movies. Solid and entertaining show format with an easygoing and unpretentious style, what’s not to like?

    Allies in Horror and Life
These are some great guys right here, I feel like they really have my back as horror fans and humans. They discuss all kinds of horror movies, new and old, popular and very unpopular/underground. This is the only podcast I listen to when they discuss movies I’ve never seen because I can’t miss an episode and I love their discussions! 🖤

    Do you love horror movies?
The two hosts do, and they make me love horror movies too! Their commentary is clear, concise, fair, entertaining, and so much fun. When one episode is over, I can’t wait to listen to the next one. Very well done. I wonder, are they film students? Maybe not, but wouldn’t be surprised if they were.

    Impressed
Horror podcasts are the best podcasts and this one rises to the top of that pile. The hosts are funny; they get along well; they're not snobby; they're not judgmental; they're sensitive and they have they love horror. I'm all in.

    Keep it Creepy
Love this podcast! These gentlemen have helped me rediscover horror films whose titles I forgot and inspired me to look in to films I never would have thought to check out- all while discussing films in an engaging and entertaining manner.

    OMG THEYRE SO PUNK!!!
I always have a good time listening to this podcast. These are knowledgable in ways I am not, but I eat lots of meat so maybe that's it. Lol

    Great Podcast
Okay, I love this podcast. I subscribed on the episode where they reviewed Don’t look Now way back in the day. I don’t always agree with them. They trashed the film Shriek of the Mutilated and we all know how amazing that film is. That said, they pick great topics, trash the Warrens, and give a deep analysis to all films they review. Also, subscribe to Cinepunx for non-horror film reviews.

    Great Discussion
I’m always happy to see that a new episode of this wonderful show is available, and I always move it straight to the front of my queue. Horror Business is another excellent podcast from the fine folks at Cinepunx, and it’s definitely one of my favorites.

    Stay Spooky
An amazing show. Interesting, left of center film choices and two knowledgeable and charming hosts. Instantly one of my favorite horror podcasts. Although I do wish episodes were more frequent, when one drops it’s worth the wait.

    Come To Daddy
Demons to some, angels to others, Justin and Liam are horror fans' best friends. Justin admits to bawling and a landlocked fear of sharks; Liam is a new daddy ("Come to him, I guess.") who has an infectious laugh. Both know their stuff and offer astute recommendations. They clearly have fun breaking down what does and doesn't work in a horror film. They can disagree and respect each other as only the best of friends can. Loved their breakdown of ORCA and can only hope they tackle JAWS IV soon.

    Great Fun & Well Researched!
A must listen - for those who love the genre. Justin does more research than one would ever think possible, and is super passionate about all things horror. Liam and Justin have a great dynamic; their discussions (arguments) are so much fun to listen to. If you're a fan of the genre, I certainly recommend checking them out!

    It’s pretty good...I guess..
I gave them 5 stars despite Liam’s apprehension to let me plug the Kool Keith album ‘Diesel Truckers’ multiple times on the new episode. Sad!

    by creeps for creeps
Really funny hosts with obvious enthusiasm for the genre have some deft insights and lively discussions. My favorite horror podcast by a mile.

It's funny and it's about horror
Good times, intelligent conversation. Tough to hear sometimes (low volume) but stuff happens.

    Great show!
I've tried listening to a few other horror movie podcasts and this one is the best I've heard. It's refreshing to listen to people who are genuine horror fans talk about the genre with such honesty and knowledge. Keep the good work up guys!

    Five for Nineteen
I felt compelled to leave this after episode 19, "Not Just Boys Fun", aka the one about the aliens. I've been a fan for a while, but this was the most fun, concise, and entertaining episode yet, and I think that they've finally hit the sweet spot. I'd rate this episode five stars just for Justin's quotes from the kid who played Elliot on E.T., let alone the banter Justin & Liam have between one another **and** the TWO guests (from the Final Girls Horrorcast). "Stay spooky."

    It's a good show!
Lovely fellows Justin and Liam are 2 dudes that you know, through their banter, really respect each other. Justin is feisty, and Liam is more chill, but it's iron sharpening iron here. if they disagree, there's no ill will, if they agree, they celebrate together. the show can go long, but it's like hanging out with pals that you really like. and it's a horror podcast, so there's that too! they could be talking about baking and it'd be fun. whatever!

    It's so good
Opinionated, funny, ridiculous at times -- but Justin and Liam know their genre stuff. The pontificating and joking and snarky comments are balanced with a deep knowledge of what they're discussing. Plus, it's just so much FUN: my only complaint is that I have to ration these episodes, because they're not as often as I'd like.

    Right on
I found the podcast from being a previous listener to cinepunx and following Liam on IG, so I knew this would be up my alley. But between the conversation about liking a movie to "going off" if a band covered Turning Point to when Justin described the art design of the comic Witches as a Deathwish Inc 2003 release I was really hooked. Thanks dudes for being about the same stuff I'm about and keep up the good work. - With love from Baltimore

    Killer Debut of New Format
Justin killed it despite having to contend with Liam's ego and need for attention. For real, though, really loved the first episode, very stoked on the next!
