I learn something, maybe many things, each time I listen to the show. Expert guests and hosts that don’t feel a need to clutter up the discussion with too much preface or other commentary. Thank you Columbia University for making this available. You are making us all smarter and more informed.

This is a top quality podcast. The host, Jason Bordoff, is adept at asking pertinent questions regarding the topic and keeping the conversation going smoothly. The guests are chosen for their expertise in a specific area of energy/decarbonization. The sound quality of this podcast is very good, and there is no loud music to endure in the segment. There is much to learn and be inspired by in this podcast.

Timid and cowardly interviewing is a consistent theme. This is basically a platform for bad actors in the energy sector to spread their nonsense. Interviewees are allowed to steer the conversation and hard hitting questions are avoided in favor of being friendly. This results in humanization of earth destroyers and not much else. If you want insights into the current energy sector without counterpoints, this could be for you. If you realize the energy sector needs massive reform worldwide and want any insight into how that is happening, this podcast falls far short.

Some weeks, the anticipation of listening to the latest installment of Jason Bordoff or Bill Loveless and their exceptional guests discuss the most pressing issues of our time is the only thing propelling me to lace up my sneakers, put in my earbuds and go for a run. Thank you to the entire Columbia Energy Exchange team for a terrific podcast..and for keeping me a little bit fitter.

This program is excellent. Greg Dawson is very adept in talking with people of very different backgrounds. The subjects run through all aspects if the Climate Crisis. The programs are very easy to listen to and are easily assimilated.

I’m continually amazed at the quality of topics and guests that brought on the cast. If you can’t see the opportunities that the hosts are highlighting, then find a way to contact me. They’re highlight the path that hasn’t been trodden to an environmentally aligned economy that countries to individuals can follow.

Sometimes they have on a decent guest and talk about an issue facing the energy market. This week they lost all sense of scholarship when they had on a guest and took the “green new deal” seriously (which is the most laughable proposal ever) and they spent half the time talking about “intersectional” themes related to the green new deal.

Is that a pencil on paper always scratching in the background?

If you “plug” into current affairs or elect to better understand the complex and interwoven issues of energy and environmental policy, then this podcast is for you. The hosts master the challenge of extending complicated and seemingly elitist subject matter to listeners in a non-partisan, no nonsense, informative manner. I credit this podcast as one of the best courses I’ve ever taken...
