These guys are incredibly entertaining while providing real conversation and insight into the ever-changing world of board games. Each episode tends to have a different flavor to it if they are having a guest on or just talking about certain games. That being said, there are no dull episodes. If you are interested in board gaming and learning about new games with a scottish twist then dive right in to this phenomenal podcast.

Richard has a wonderful way of connecting with his guests and an easy style with a truly calming voice. As an interview format it is rare in the boardgaming podcast arena. He and his guests are also quite progressive in their social and political views and they are not afraid of it. I feel welcome. If he had a patreon, I’d pay him monies.

Fantastic podcast that is a regular listen for me. Interesting and diverse guests with hilarious hosts. When I listen to this podcast in my car, I do sometimes worry about what other drivers think as they see me silently guffawing from the (I assume) relative boredom of their own vehicles, but it is totally worth it.

This is just a phenomenal podcast involving different aspects of the board game industry. Richard does a great job of interviewing his guests and making it seem like just a couple of good friends having a chat. Established designers or first timers using Kickstarter to bring their ideas to life, there is a variety of guests on the show. Richard does a great job of not just highlighting their product but giving his guests a platform to showcase themselves and what influenced the evolution of their product.

Well they're not wizards that's for sure. While I hear there are 2 hosts of the show, the few episodes I've listened to have only ever had one. My main complaint is I'm always disapointed when an episode ends. It was rather troubling when my bluetooth headphones died while running yesterday and I had to run in silence instead of finding out what kind of wacky questions Richard would throw their way. I hope to one day be as well at throwing so many different spontanious questions at people. Keep it up and perhaps one day y'all will be wizards, if you want to of course.

Fantastic show about the shockingly wide world of tabletop gaming. There is plenty to love about Richard, his voice, his guests and the games they play!

These hosts know what they are talking about! They evaluate the board games they play in and out while still creating a fun atmosphere and knowledgable discussion. It has a topic you dont hear often which really is refreshing! Keep it up!

Ok let me get this out of the way: I was a guest on the podcast a few weeks back. Me and one of the hosts have gotten to know each other, and when I started getting into board games he asked me to come on and talk about my experience. Since then I've gone back and listened to a bunch of the eps and they are inspiring me to buy and play more board games. The two hosts bring a great perspective to the show, and talk about a wide variety of games. Highly recommended!

Great Board gaming advice. Always nice to learn about new and old games I haven't played. Great to see the boys getting better and better everytime they put a show out. Plus, They have cool Scottish accents!! What else could you ask for?
