BoadleASpot on!An excellent way to keep abreast of the politics, economics and geopolitics of Latin America, created by someone who knows the region through and through. This week’s podcast on Lula 3.0, with Natuza Nery, was spot on!
-
ExarKun26Excellent discussions about Latin & South AmericaActual journalism is hard to find nowadays. This English language podcast is the best at delivering straight forward coverage of geopolitics in Latin America & South America. The discussions are always thought provoking & well thought out. Thank you!

Sam, longtime fanGreat reporting and discussion, limited perspectiveThis is a very good podcast in which the politics and economics of Latin America are discussed thoughtfully. I learn something new from every episode. My only quibble is that the guests on the show tend to be almost exclusively from a center to center-right perspective on the political spectrum. This makes sense given that the podcast is published by Americas Quarterly, which in turn is published by the Society of the Americas. Still, I would appreciate hearing from a wider range of perspectives on Latin America.

BSB JoeNecessary Listening for LatAmAbsolutely necessary listening for those covering LatAm. And, it covers something few LatAm-focused podcasts do: Brazil, just the largest country & economy in LatAm. Thank you, Brian & AQ team.

Brazilian1984Latin American politics at its bestBrian Winter and his staff bring you the best in reporting on Latin American politics economics and culture along with other subjects dealing with Latin America. I highly recommend this podcast and the Americas quarterly journal that they publish it is journalism about Latin America like no other it is par excellence and it is one of the best resources out there about the region. Give the podcast and publication a try you won’t be disappointed!

CDPreeceAQ - An invaluable podcastThe AQ podcast provides a uniquely in-depth perspective on all things Latin American policy and politics. It is a compulsory part of the tool kit for anyone analysing or interested in the region. As a non-Spanish/Portuguese speaker I find Brian’s ability to distill opaque local dynamics invaluable. Thank you!
-
BezanInformational and EnlighteningThis is my go to for insight on what is going on in Latin America. The podcast gives balanced views and creates a space for quality dialogue about events and topics occurring in the region.
-
POC persoectiveBlind Eyed AnalysisYour discussion is limited in scope. The case of Lozoya is interwound with a far greater depth of corruption than is presented in your analysis. Important names, figures and institutions are omitted. Instead, the focus of the conversation is placed on AMLO. Objectivity is lost.
-
ZellijeRCExcellent interviewsThe questions asked by the interviewer spur informative, interesting and in-depth conversations. The discussions move at a good pace with complex information explained well. I always leave each episode feeling like I have learned something new. Bravo AQ podcast team!

elderlobinhoExcellent companion to Americas QuarterlyI've admired Brian Winter's written work for quite some time--especially given the current crisis in Brazil, it is the perfect time to complement that with a more longform podcast. I also appreciate that the episodes are not too long (typically around half an hour at the longest), which makes listening to them more manageable in my schedule.
