    Great daily scripture
Love this podcast! I wish that it announced the specific book/chapter each day, but besides that it’s amazing. No ads, just Bible, every day. Thank you!

    Excellent Podcast‼️
Love this Through the ESV Bible in a Year podcast! 🔥🙏 Out of the four similar Bible podcasts I listen to daily this one is my favorite one - thank you!🙏🔥

    Thank you
Thank you for returning Ray to us. His voice is calm and the cadence helps me to focus on the Word rather than the reader. The newer readers, well their voices were distracting from the Word. Ray has a special gift, a pastoral voice, the voice of a shepherd. It’s a wonderfully comforting and empowering podcast with Ray Orland.

    Amazing Podcast
I love the new readers! No complaints from me! I love how simple this podcast is, it’s just straight bible reading! I love listening to it and eagerly wait for the next episode.

    Hide it in your heart!
God wants to meet you though His Word. Ortlund does a great job reading it.

    Poor recording
Poor recording, cuts off mid-sentence. Wish Crossway would bring back the “through the Bible in a year” that they had up from 2022-2023

    Variety
I love the variety of voices!

    Terrible New Readers
These new readers make listening a chore rather than the delight it used to be.

    Surprise
Wow! I woke up, grabbed my coffee, and sit down to listen Ray read the scripture. To my surprise is wasn’t him! Will he be returning???? I MISS HIM!!! Loved his calm voice. Helped me understand the Word.

An essential part of my life
I have been listening to this wonderful podcast every day for five years and it is a central part of my daily prayers. I am so grateful for this opportunity experience the Bible daily.

    Thank you
We have been listening to this podcast for at least 6 years and have been blessed by the experience. Thank you. We miss the previous reader and are having trouble getting used to the new one.

Not happy with the change in readers
Nothing against the new guys but the former reader was what I used to help fall asleep at night because of his calm and relaxing voice. Please bring it back to the way it was before or somehow meet us in the middle!
  • JustifiedbyJesus
Bring back older version as an option please
Please bring back the more simpler ESV daily Bible podcasts. These new voices are not for me. Please.
  • Nooo! Why?
Why would you change the original ESV through a year?
You’ve replaced the original with several new podcasts with new voices, none of which I care for. WHY? Very disappointing.

    Great app
The older version was much better please bring it back as an option.

    Perfect.
So thankful for this podcast. It was just what I was looking for. I like listening to each days installment several times, and this podcast is a great aid in meditating on God’s word.
  • Reading ♥️
    Spot on!
I was searching for a daily reading with a pleasing voice and cadence. This podcast checks all my boxes. Just what I needed to start my day of teaching young minds. Thank you!

Good podcast but the last 2 episodes won’t download

    Great, but…
This has been a great tool for helping me stay on track with my daily reading. My only suggestion is that you pronounce the chapters before going into the reading. There is no transition from the Old Testament reading to the Psalms to the New Testament.

    Renewal
As a new Christian, I find these podcast energizing and fulfilling of my growing faith in the Lord. It’s daily worship should be sent as good news for all.

    Excellent
This is a great podcast for getting your daily bible in while on the go. I love listening to it while on my morning commute to work. It really helps to put me in the right mindset for the rest of the day. Plus, there is no dilly-dally read the things and get it done.

    Good Pace
The best audio Bible reading I’ve heard. Usually too fast or slow or dramatic. Wish it could be read straight through without jumping back and forth from old to New Testament.

    Changed
When iPhone updated apple podcast the text was cut short so I would go to the show page and click the link to the show website and read along there. Now that link says I need an RSS feed reader?

Loved it but missing the end of May

ESV: Through the Bible in a Year
Great app, however I am not getting episodes after April 30 on my iPhone. Episodes are up to date on computer.

    Works in Overcast App
It’s still working and uploading new podcasts in the Overcast app if that helps anyone.

    Stopped Working?
No longer uploading new daily readings…

The Podcast just stopped at a certain date!
This was extremely disappointing! Here I am months into my reading plan, and the podcast just stops. It will not load the next days.

    Good way to listen daily.
This is the only way I can consistently listen to Bible daily.

    Definitely Recommend
I am grateful to have found this podcast. I agree with others to please also include book, chapter and verses before they are read. Thank you!
  • Arielly1003
    Ok
Reader has good tone. Overall thankful for podcast version of this. However some simple improvements like including chapter changes would help. Also a few second at beginning and end of recording would be helpful - something to signal the end of the episode. Otherwise it flows directly into the previous scripture and sometimes you don’t realize it’s moved on to the next podcast u til you recognize you’ve already heard that part.

    Great resource for the saints
Started late last year and have really benefited from this app as a supplement to my daily readings. My only suggestion is to please include the chapter and book in the narration.
  • Perla Chance
    Great podcast
Just starting and enjoying the resource. Same voice as in the ESV app, which is nice for consistency. I would though like to suggest they include titles as new sections are read. For example, “Matthew 3..., Psalm 5...”. Since each episode reading includes different books and chapters, I’ve found myself listening and needing a reminder when one chapter ends and another begins, etc. Would help my brain make the context connections and such. Thanks!
  • laynie higbee
    WOW
this is the most amazing thing ever!!! Definitely helps me read and understand
  • Rgaxi
    I like it
Im only three days in and I like it but I wish they’d pause and say when they’re switching chapters or books.
  • ILikeStuffThatWorks
    Very good reading plan
The narrator is very good. I think it’s easier to not only listen but to focus on what’s being said. The ESV has been my primary translation for some time. I appreciate that Crossway has made these podcasts available.

    Such A Blessing
I work long hours so, I don’t get much free time to read. This podcast has been very helpful to me in not neglecting God’s word. I am thankful that it’s available.

    Game Changer
I am a mother of many small children. This podcast has enabled me to “read” the Bible through in a year much easier than otherwise. I listen to it with my kids at breakfast. It is wonderful. And I don’t mind the missing text references - it is labeled on the episode if you really want to to go back and see. I like how it is absolutely JUST the Bible, no comments or anything. I thank God for this app.

Read the references, please. Great app.
    Thank you.
  • Alex17100
    Great
I do wish the references were announced at the beginning. Nonetheless, this is great. I especially love the New Testament reader!!
  • EML
Love it; Wish there were references
I have been listening over and over for years and am very grateful for this resource. Like many others here, I wish you would play the references of each of the readings. Thank you for all you do!
