I’m absolutely blown away at the consistency and depths to which Rick can be wrong in every single episode. It is quite a feat! The quintessential podcast for a Battlestar rewatch!

I’ve watched Battlestar Galactica several times and a big fan of the show. Rick and Dave are hilarious! Recapping the episodes are informative and these guys are having a blast.

I’ve watched Battlestar 4 times through now. This last time was after I found this podcast (the podcast was already completed) and I watched episodes along with the show. What a fun ride. 10/10 all the way.

I first binged the series about 7 years ago and found this podcast when I decided to do a rewatch. As an episode-by-episode companion (I listen to a podcast episode after watching a show episode), it's enjoyable. I especially appreciate Dave Johnson's military insights. I'm sure there are many other podcasts about this excellent show, but this one is satisfying enough for me.

Very enjoyable recap of Galactica 10 years later. I’ve been enjoying my journey rewatching with Battlestar Recaptica. They’ve also managed to score some solid interviews with cast members and producers. My only annoyance is the periodic 5–10 minute conversations about Star Trek Discovery, etc that creep in. I would have edited these out from the podcast.

Normally, I wouldn't write a review but I am pretty disappointed with this podcast so far. I'm only on the second episode and their banter seems like they are constantly trying to 1up the other person and it's difficult to enjoy the podcast. Hoping it gets better.

Good chemistry between the hosts. Fans celebrating the best parts of the show. Critics exploring the parts of the show that didn’t work. Context for what the show was when it aired. Placement for what the show means now and how the industry has changed. Genuine disagreement about what something meant or its relevant worth. This is a great companion podcast and exploration of the show; this podcast has it all. Plus: Dave was in the Air Force, in case that wasn’t clear. :) This podcast is worth every penny.

For fanboys, this isn’t awful, but don’t look for literary criticism or nuanced debate here. The ventures into Star Trek and socialism bashing are really tiresome.

My wife and I are going through BSG, her first time my forth, and the show adds a lot of color to the show. I love the interviews and the banter, great show. Production quality is excellent as well

So I decided it has been a while and its time to watch BSG again. Unfortunately no other Sci-Fi has come close over the last 10 plus years since BSG has gone off the air. Well I could not find the Ron Moore podcast and panicked. I was so happy to find this podcast. Host are great and really love BSG. I wish we could get more formal cast member interviews. My only regret is that we are getting ever so close to an end with the Podcast.

An enjoyable way to revisit the show if you are not ready to rewatch it yet and a great way to hear the perspective of others in one of the greatest shows ever made. I can’t wait to find out what happened to Starbuck.

This is a great companion to an incredible series. The two co-hosts, Rick and Dave, bring alot of passion, interesting behind the scenes information, character breakdowns, plot discussion,interviews with BSG actors, and hilarious banter. This show achieves all of this in a very, wait for it....., organic fashion. These guys work very well together and I look forward to listening to each episode after every ep. of BSG (even the stinker eps of BSG). I am very thankful these two men take the time to create such a great show.

I was looking for something exactly like this as I went through the show again. It's so good! My 11 year old doesn't even watch the show but he loves when I have the podcast on in the car even though he has no idea what they're talking about. He just thinks they're funny and like their interaction with each other. I LOVE podcasts and listen to a ton. This may be my favorite.

Just started listening - 6 episodes in. Very entertaining.

First season recap was great. Unfortunately it's been down hill from there. When the host stick to BSG, it's a very good podcast. Trouble arrives when they feel the need to drift into politics, other sci-fi shows, interviews, etc. I am interested in hearing their thoughts on the final episode.

It’s frustrating how much they miss. They initially position the show as finding out new things you may have missed during the initial viewing, but can’t even grasp some of the most basic story line.

I've listened to a lot of BSG podcasts being a big BSG fan. There aren't many that start from the beginning. And of those... well one of them ... you can click my name and read my review if you really want to know. But THIS podcast is just what I was looking for. Great balance of witty banter, almost always relevant discussion (and their tangents when they happen are often entertaining and not too long winded) and just plain entertaining hosts. With the release of the awesome BSG game Deadlock, it's made me want to rewatch the show and find a podcast to follow along with and this here podcast is it. Great job guys, keep it up.

This podcast is a nice way of going through each episode of BG and having a good laugh. Try it, and you'll like it.

Interesting takes. Very very very technical w VERY LITTLE emotional nuance (read: no women POV) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TIMESTAMP YOUR STAR TREK REVIEWS!!!!!!!! This is a Battlestar podcast, no?

I'm really enjoy this podcast. The back and forth between guys is fun, and it's nice to relive the show without having to buy it at this time. They have guests from the show now and again, which definitely lends legitimacy. I haven't caught up all the way, but am havening a good time. Enjoy!

I love having this podcast to listen to while I watch through BSG for the first time! These two pull out a lot of great details I miss and they do a great job examining the underlying themes of the show.

I love this podcast. It's hard not to as a hardcore BSG fan. Only feedback I have is doing a contest to allow a fan to call in and join in the recap of an episode.

I'm a huge fan of the show, and I adore this recap! The interviews are great, their banter is great, and their insight into military protocol, space mechanics and retconning (it's a BSGRecap joke) are great. Bonus points for how they interact with their fans online.

Just discovered this podcast and am binge-listening to get caught up - Absolutely enjoying the heck out of it!! I'm a huge fan of the reimagined series and I'm loving going through the podcasts hearing some new bits of information that I haven't before, and it's also really neat to get some in depth perspective on the episodes from other people, especially with military expereince. I've especially enjoyed the podcasts with special guests, quite a treat especially after all these years since the show aired. Thank you so much for doing this podcast! Looking forward to more episodes (and maybe more special guests?? :) ) Might we see a Caprica podcast after? At least do one for "the Plan!"

I love this show and watch it, well, quite a bit. Listening to this podcast is like sitting down with two (very knowledgeable) friends who enjoy the show as much as I do. These gentlemen not only provide the scene by scene commentary, but insider knowledge about the military (and how it relates) along with quite a bit of trivia about the show and characters that they have accumulated throughout the years. If you enjoy the show, you will enjoy this podcast.

It's an interesting, informative, and often humorous look at each episode. It's not spoiler-filled, so newbies as well as Battlestar veterans can enjoy.

This podcast has been great for my revisiting of the series. They point out things that you may not have known while keeping the humor light and the missteps of the show honest. Love these guys.

I am a big BSG fan and so are theses guys. One of them is an actual rocket scientist and the other is just belligerant! Their banter is fun and they have so many cool facts about the show and the episode by episode review is awesome! And the have guest from the show on the podcast! What else can I say ? I recommend it to all my friends

I'm watching BSG for the first time (not a sci-fi fan). But I actually force myself to wait before watching the next awesome episode until this podcast comes out. It enhances my appreciation of each episode that much! PS- Please go faster! {Kidding).

Highly recommended for anyone re-watching BSG, Rick and Dave do a great job of breaking down each episode in an intelligent and funny way, sharing interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits, and levying criticism when it's warranted. However, if you're watching the series for the first time, this may not be the podcast for you. The hosts mostly just talk about the current episode, but they do assume that their audience is familiar with the entire series.

Battlestar Galactica is my favorite show of all time. When I discovered these guys were doing a recap of each episode, I was all in. I even subscribed to Hulu just so I can watch all the episodes again along with them. While Rick and Dave are not the most knowledgeable about the show, they are entertaining and still bring some new insight to the show. I only wish they'd do more than one a week!

This is a great podcast! These guys are always on point. They don't waste time blabbing about things not related to the podcast, which, in my opinion, is an extremely important part of producing a professional podcast. They bring a fresh and interesting perspective to the entire Battlestar Galactica series. I also appreciate that they don't always praise the series. There are things that the hosts don't like about the series, and they are very good to point those out, while still praising all of the amazing parts of the series. If you are a Battlestar Galactica fan, this podcast will not disappoint!

I'm taking this show one episode at a time, so I wait until your next episode comes out to watch that episode, so I'm fresh on it. The worse part is I have to stop myself from watching 5-6 more episodes because I don't want to wait. I go through the series about once a year and I love watching it over and over.

I am a huge fan of BSG and re-watch the series every year or so. This is a great podcast to listen to as you go trough the show. Good recap, discussion, trivia, and "behind the scenes" info. A must-listen for any fan of the show!
