I’ve been following Japers m back in the day and this podcast is essential. Stringham’s a bit of a curmudgeon but it a must listen for any Caps fan or hater

Love the show, but the poor quality audio is a terrible distraction. I’m staying supportive but if that can maybe get some attention…. I can’t do what you do so I am appreciative… just don’t know if you hear what we hear..

This is a great Caps podcast! Greg and Adam do an excellent job as hosts. They rountinely have amazing guests too, including JP, Samantha, and Tarik. I look forward to each episode!

Greg and Adam are wonderful to listen to, it is a very interesting podcast and has everything you could ever want the want to know about the Washington capitals!

Excellent podcast usually full of insightful information and good dialogue. Only negative is Greg Young. He was a recent add this season and was not a good add.

Imagine the the ESPN show First Take but super boring.

I enjoy the analysis and depth but sometimes it’s a little more negative than necessary - the reason this is not a 5 star rating. Re the Ovie fight, something critical, IMO, and that I have not seen/heard mentioned, was that it took Ovie off the ice for 5 min. His line was unquestionably the best for the first several minutes of game 3. Without Ovie, the line gets out of rhythm and never recovers. That added to the spark the KO of Svechnikov gave the Canes was insurmountable. I almost wonder whether one of the goals of starting the fight was to get Ovie off the ice.

Please put your phone on vibrate when doing a podcast! I love hearing the analysis but the notification sounds of your phone, with the volume seemingly on 11 is enough to make my ears bleed. Please fix this. This would be a 5 star review if not for that. Otherwise; great analysis of my favorite hockey team.

Audio quality varies from mediocre to downright awful. Wild swings in volume and clarity render parts of nearly every podcast uninteligible.

Oh my GOD the host cannot stop himself from interrupting and speaking over guests. It is unbearably annoying.

Although the sound quality from the various hosts waver as does the “getting behind thee” of a playoff run, these broadcasts merit listening and enjoying. Good entertainment and certainly a diverse perspective highlighted by sharing their out if the region reactions from Seattle to New York are all much appreciated! Listening for a long time but quashed before last round due to anxiety (and listening at work while sick was tough) and now hearing the altered show opening was like lifting the cup all over again. Well done!!

This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. I wish Japers Rink would do them more often. The depth of content on hockey and analytics really separates it. It is not a podcast with the standard narratives. Go Caps!

These guys know hockey and make an effort to give unbiased reporting - as close as it gets for a team-focused source anyway.

For Caps fans who want to move beyond the easy themes of national media and delve into the real analysis of what's happening for their favorite DC team, this podcast is an entertaining, konwledgeable and fun way to do it. Delivered with a lot of humor and without any affectation, it is a great way to add to your enjoyment as a fan. Trust me - try it and you'll be hooked.

I'm a biased Capitals fan, but this podcast is good for ANY hockey fan or a DC sports fan trying to understand/learn more abut hockey. While it's focused on the Washington Capitals, you'll find yourself quite entertained learning about the nuances and important details of a hockey team, culture, & sport that you won't get from natonal pundits. While that might not seem like much of a complement when you think about "pundits" such as Mike Milbury, this podcast (and japers rink) really is excellent. Want an intelligent, informed, fun, and honest opinon about the Washington Capitals, its fanbase, and the excitement of NHL hockey? Need an inside look and expert analysis of what's happening in a given series? Why is playoff hockey different than regular season hockey? Start listening!

A must listen for Caps fans and really, any hockey fan who wants to learn more about the the team and the NHL in general. Adam and Steve do a great job combining the heart of fandom with the logic of statistics. Great selection of guests too.
