Ev’yan Whitney is a nutcase. She fired me as a client for literally being, I’m not kidding, 3 minutes late to a zoom. She is an ahole lol. If you actually listen to her work it’s completely devoid of content. Don’t waste your time, money or energy.

On my third listen since this episode came out and it’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Ev’Yan is my favorite and most accessible sexuality doula. They’re journey resonates with my experience and the way they articulate their process has been such a warm, supportive resource.

Started with the episode of Pleasure is the Point on a Sunday afternoon. I’ve been at myself lately worried about how I lack hobbies, how I wouldn’t know joy if it stood in front of me. That episode title got me, and burst open several new avenues of thought towards the self. I’ve been on Bell Hooks’ books and interviews lately and this seemed like a continuation in experiences and feelings that I live with right now in every day life. I’m trying to keep myself from binging these episodes. Multiple listens just does it for me. For years, my mindset has put a curse onto my sexuality, my desires, and my evaluation of myself. I’m very grateful to have this podcast on my list of tools that I use and resources that I pull from in order to grow a new tree within me.

Very empowering podcast, I haven’t listened to many of the episodes (yet) but the ones I have heard have really gave me an affirming perspective on pleasure and sensuality, and incorporating this very natural satisfaction into daily living❤️

Love love LOVE this podcast and Ev’Yan’s work. Her commitment to education and inclusivity creates a safe space for all beings to truly know themselves in a deeper way and heal themselves. She makes healing accessible with her doable daily practices. Her spirit and ~beautiful~ voice is such a vibe and I’m truly grateful for all she is and all she is doing. Thank you girl!!! I love listening to this podcast! I’m playing catch-up right now, but the episodes I’ve heard so far have helped me give myself permission to be okay with where I’m at in my journey while also allowing myself to see the offerings to discover and learn more. Hearing Ev’Yan speak is so calming and the way they carry the conversation or interview feels like I’m just hanging out in the living room with them. They share so much vulnerability regarding their understanding and growth with the topics that come up when discovering more of ourselves.

Male here who has been questioning his gender expression as of late, just wanted to say I was recommended this episode by a friend and it was truly insightful. I go back and forth between whether I actually like identifying as masculine or if I just like male privilege: this podcast really gave me a lot to think about in regards to how to tailor my own personal expression. I’ll definitely listen to more of this podcast 🙂

I am so grateful this podcast exists! I feel so seen already, and i’ve only listened to a couple episodes so far. I’ve learned and discovered so much about myself and I’m just so grateful it exists. Thank you for this offering Ev’Yan! 💗

I sift and sort through episodes based on my curiosity. I like what I hear because it challenges me and my journey through my sexuality and sensual self, especially with me being alone during this pandemic. It’s opened me up to re-evaluate myself and my future relationships, so thanks for that.

I related a lot to the first few episodes I listened to which made me feel comfortable and supported enough to venture further into “uncharted” territory, exploring some of the episodes around decolonizing gender and sexuality that brought up emotions of shame and humility - which is a good thing. The episode conversations offer space to do some personal mirror work/reflection, which I appreciate, too. To be sure, the questions I have to ask myself during this practice are hard, but the answers are so rewarding and have helped me tap into a richer state of sensuality and somatic awareness. Thank you Ev’Yan!

This podcast is my go to when I need to reconnect with myself, recenter, or calm down and remember to be mindful. This podcast has opened my mind and heart to so many ideas and realizations about myself and my journey. I think maybe my favorite part is that as I’ve grown and learned as long as I’ve been listening, Ev’yan (the host) has also grown and learned and acknowledged when something posted in the past is not how they think anymore. Ev’yan is such a beautiful example for anyone looking to enter or grow in their own sexual, and gender, liberation journey.

I am so glad this podcast exists. It’s beautiful to experience media that moves at the pace of the body, not the frenetic pace of capitalism. All these topics: gender, sensuality, liberation, race, sex, relationships, ancestry- they *need* to be felt and processed through the body, and Ev’Yan is such a tender & fierce guide through that. it took me a minute to settle in, but once I did, whoo mama! There is so much richness and wisdom here, and while it’s deep and rigorous, it’s approachable and relatable too. snippets of these discussions reverberate, stay with me, and help me stay curious. Also, Ev’Yan has a delightful voice, SO soothing to listen to.

I love how Ev’Yan constantly breaks the mold of the definition of sensuality in so many different aspects of life. I am not a Puritan, but as a 52 year old who can learn from a young blood, I have to say great job. I cannot have an open conversation with any adult openly about sex, it embarrass me. Even with the man I’ve married for 29 years. I’ve birth 3 children and still have a problem With the subject. And my husband is the only one I’ve been with. I am guessing that such a beautiful young woman has not experienced menopause, but if you have a source I. The subject?… I would love to hear about it.
