Is it because I’m a lesbian?
Knew immediately this was the podcast for me when I first heard them drag the series turning Serena into a sleeper cell gay. I remember turning to my husband after that scene and asked if I missed something throughout the entire time she was on the series! The sound effects are incredible. The only con is I dislike the episodes where the guests have barely any knowledge of the series. Makes it no fun and annoying. More Ellyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Funny podcast team!!
I love the jokes and chit chat. It is obvious that the podcast team are friends. Kevin is hilarious.

    Quality Has Deteriorated
I listened to this podcast for years. Kevin and Rebecca used to get guests who were interested in L&O and had watched lots of episodes. Now the guests are just other podcast hosts wanting to get some free publicity for their podcast by appearing on TATS. These new guests know little-to-nothing about the franchise and their contributions are lame. The podcasts now are just boring. Plus Kevin and Rebecca don’t like getting negative comments via email or social despite inviting listeners to contact them.

An enjoyable (?) look at the dark side of humanity
Enjoyed this podcast and the cleverness of Kevin and Rebecca. Most guests are pretty good. I can’t deal with SVU but have listened to all the others. Use to binge/background watch L&O when it was constantly on cable back in the day. Weirdly comforting, plus- who can resist Briscoe??? :)

    Thank goodness for your show
Hi!!!!! I love this show as I can barely watch SVU. Those story lines/hmmm but I am an original show worshipper as well as CI. Thanks for a great show that I can laugh along with.

Love this show, full of laughs and funny commentary

    Depends which series you like
If you love SVU this is your jam. If you like original recipe you’ll be ok. If you like CI you’ll see one episode a year, maybe less. And when they do review, it’ll be an unpopular episode, definitely on purpose. Just admit you don’t like criminal intent and you get off on SVU. Also, if you post your opinion on their insta, they (he) will come hard for you.

Fun to listen and I don’t even like L&O
Fun and entertaining podcast with cool guests. I’ve casually watched Law and Order, specifically SVU, but I enjoy listening to this podcast way more than watching the show!

This is a stupid podcast bye

Okay, ‘especially heinous’ is best for SVU recaps
I only listen to L&O episodes because there’s a better pod focused on SVU episode recaps (with real life inspiration) in order which I prefer. The developing character arcs get lost when jumping all over. Also I find the near-constant ha-ha-ha-ha annoying laughter of the woman tiresome. So I like some of these episodes, can’t listen to others. it’s 50-50 good to bad ratio. Try Especially Heinous if you feel the same way.

    Tired of Rebecca
I really like this podcast for the most part, Kevin is great. But wow, I am so tired of Rebecca. She just can’t help herself with the virtue signaling and wokism. We get it, the show is SO problematic in every way. She just ruins the lightheartedness and humor of the podcast. Exhausting. She’s just a parrot. I may have to find a new SVU recap podcast.

    Such a delight
I adore this podcast and the hosts Rebecca & Kevin truly give it their all. The guests are hilarious and I love their rapport.

    So fun!
I adore this show! I wish there were more episodes.

    5 Starts! Dun dun duuun!!
Please don’t EVER stop making this show. I had never heard anything else from the two of you, I was in the dark obviously, and because of this show I now listen to and follow more shows than I probably should. I grew up on original Law and Order, Homicide: Life on the Streets and Matlock. When SVU and even Criminal Intent came out I watched them as well, if I happen to see them on as a re-run I will watch them again like it was the first time. My husband may think I am crazy for doing this but I find it weirdly comforting. So when I found your show and realized there were others like me it made my day! Once again, Please don’t ever stop doing this show……Thank you.

    Love this CWO Spin Off
I enjoy Kevin and Rebecca so much, and I really enjoy this show- especially when the ladies from Date with Dateline are the guests! The musical interludes are so delightful and get stuck in my head. Although it took me a long time to figure out what an “effinohgee” was, LOL.
  • Staceybryan621
    Soothing. Calming. Delightful. So funny.
Rebecca sounds very similar to Michaela Watkins who I adore so I was going to like this show anyway. Thanks to Rebecca I hate Elliot stabler and wow they sure do love to throw the term hooker around. Rebecca’s husband (his name is escaping me rn) also has a nice voice. Almost like David Cross with a little less whine.

This podcast is exhausting. It feels like they talk for years.

Rebecca & Kevin are the best!
I’ll listen to anything they do. Their podcasts are beautifully produced, edited and always engaging. I love when Kevin makes Rebecca laugh. Her laugh is infectious!

    Always hilarious
It’s funny you mentioned the movie Girls Trip since Tiffany haddish just dodged her own sex crime conviction this week 😯

    That ugly laugh
The show is good but that woman’s laugh is so ugly and it’s constant I can’t even listen to it
  • kara_belle
    Love the snark
I really appreciate that, unlike a lot of other Law and Order podcasts, this one is willing to call out a lot of the copaganda and ridiculousness in the franchise.

    Faves all around!
My favorite shows getting reviewed by my favorite podcasters….with (mostly) smart humor interspersed. What’s not to love ?!? This show can go on forever with as many episodes as there are in the L&O universe, and I for one am delighted!

Listen even if you don’t watch!
This podcast is excellent. Especially love when their kids fill in as the guest hosts! Kevin and Rebecca (and their guests) give humorous and very socially aware commentary. So glad I found this! Thanks guys.

    These are their stories
Only heard the first few episodes but I’m hooked!

    Used to be good
This show used to be good. Now it just feels tedious and tired. No longer do I look forward to listening, so with all the other better stuff out there, this one had to go. Too bad they don’t make good jokes anymore, mostly tired political commentary. Ugh. If I wanted that I would subscribe to a political podcast.

I want to like it but…
This podcast is good for the most part but their language is really offensive at times. I’m no prude when it comes to language but repeatedly saying things like “oh my f’ing g-d” and using the “r word” for comedic effect. Sorry but it just makes me cringe. Had to unsub.

    Love this podcast!!!!
Each episode is laugh out loud funny!

    Once Good, Ruined by Hypocrisy
I used to truly enjoy this podcast, but over the last 6 months they’ve pushed an anti-police view. I’d love to know who these “cis-het white” people would call if their New Hampshire home was broken into, the police or someone else? Hypocrisy at its zenith.

    Love this podcast!
I enjoy the interaction between Kevin and Rebecca, love the musical bits and often laugh out loud during an episode. I wish they’d produce more often.
  • Velvetsun
    If only...
The hosts would dial back on the snark and more importantly, if Rebecca’s laugh wasn’t so incredibly annoying. Seriously the most cringey cackle I have ever heard. I can handle it in small doses, but considering that she forces a laugh every 2 minutes, it’s a struggle to get through.

This podcast enhances Law and Order
The format of this podcast is spot on: a guest, an episode and then discussion about the episode that is hilarious but also insightful. Also what story it is based on and spotting actors who subsequently became famous and guest actors. And favourite detective, favourite prosecutorial team. I have not heard them all but will. So far they don’t have favourite psychiatrist but I hope they will. I am so glad I found this podcast

I wanted to like it, but yikes!
I really wanted to like this podcast, because I grew up with Law and Order and am still a huge fan to this day. However, in episode 8 Kevin repeatedly uses the word “reta*ded” and laughs about how it’s not politically correct to say. I know that this episode came out in 2017, but we’ve known for YEARS that using that word isn’t okay. I spent some time reading reviews after that episode and it looks like in more recent episodes he makes some inappropriate sexist jokes as well as rape jokes, and I am not here for any of that mess. Big yikes.

    Another SVU Recap I Love!
I don’t even watch SVU anymore, I just like to laugh about how crazy it is. BTW on the topic of naming pets after SVU characters, Taylor Swift has a cat named Olivia Benson worth $97 million dollars.

    L&O Junkies
So glad to know I'm not the only one who keeps some iteration of Law and Order going in the background any time it's available (and thanks to cable TV, it's nearly always available.) Kevin, Rebecca, and a different special guest each episode take an episode from the Law and Order universe and discuss it as well as the true crime it's sometimes closely and sometimes loosely based on, and I'm here for it. They ask each of their guests their favorite detectives (mine is Briscoe and Green, a pretty popular choice) and their favorite prosecutorial team (McCoy and Ross, fight me). This podcast has freed up my day, I used to plan a visit to the gym around when I could catch a full episode of SVU, now I can go anytime I want and listen to this. Love this pod!

Rebecca and Kevin are witty, and this is a podcast you need in your life
I found this podcast randomly during the early lockdown in the spring of 2020. I enjoy true crime podcasts, but sometimes, the grit of a story is too much during sad times. Rebecca and Kevin made me laugh, and they gave me something fun to listen to while dealing with a pandemic and personal health scares. I was a fan of SVU, seen every season 1-12. And I would catch as much CI as I could when I could. I love how they break down the episodes and shine a light on the important issues within an episode. All with Kevin’s dirty humor and Rebecca’s smart wit. I even think the music and sound effects are funny, and I tend to sing along to some. It gets stuck in your head. Overall, this is a well done podcast. You should also check out Crime Writers On. Such a good listen.

    Funniest Law and Order podcast
This is the best L & O recap series ever. Both hosts are passionate about the show and have interesting and funny critiques and observations. I must say I LOVE it when they roast Criminal Intent. Very excited for them to discuss more recent SVU episodes as well. Always such a bright spot when I see a new episode so thank you guys!!!!!
  • lostinlondn
    Love them
I used to only listen to SVU episodes, but now I love them so much. I even listen to criminal intent episodes. I hope to one day get my decal proving how many hours of law and order I watch.
  • ElK969696
    Kevin has amazing delivery
Kevins recaps are the whole show for me. Could listen to that all day. However I get fatigued by his cohost’s non stop virtue signaling about how to refer to prostitutes. And let’s face it, this is law and order. Almost every episode features a hooker. It gets tiresome. As does that laugh. So half this show is great for me. The other half...not so much.

    More Chris Green please
Maybe he could join the podcast as a permanent co-host? so great
